Those who missed the PS360 old times, when third person shooters didn't complicate everything, should have an eye on Warhammer 40K: Space Marine. You'll kill thousands of enemies, and anything else, but it's easy to miss some variety in them.

With its fast paced combat, memorable characters and the kind of production values Bioware apply to their projects, Dragon Age 2 is nothing short of a great title. But it's yet to be seen if the sacrifices made to streamline the game and make it more welcome to new players are the best solution avaliable.

Take a look at the latest platform games of the DS and, now, expend one minute to see Henry Hatsworth in action. This iconic gentlemen has a hilarious story to tell you, fusing at the same time puzzle and platform genres with an extraordinary ability. Without any doubt, one of the best DS games of the year.

Endless Legend is one of the best turn-based 4X games currently available. It mixes classical mechanics and new original components in a nice graphic and colorful environment while offering numerous options to users. Although some aspects would require a bit more variety, it's a perfect deal for the fans of 4X games. If empire building is your thing, you'll need to play it.

Pyre is Supergiant’s best work to date. A perfect mix of shocking writing, a memorable cast of characters and fantasy and balanced sport gameplay.

Masterfully crafted and impeccably designed, Hitman 2 is quite possibly the most excellent stealth title of our times and overall a perfect example of what a good single-player videogame must be. That it is also quite generous with its content is a wonderful bonus.

Superb and inventive puzles and general charm balances the poor combat and lacklustre art, resulting in a remarkable indie game.

The Ramp is a pleasant surprise. As if it were a toy model, Hyperparadise seeks to transmit the pleasure of skateboarding in a simple video game with no achievements or objectives, just enjoy the ride, so that the flow of this sport runs through your veins. And it succeeds. First, because it feels like a videogame thanks to its polished mechanics. Secondly, because of the good taste in its art direction and the good design. It's a pity that there aren't more, that this haven of tranquility doesn't hold even more surprises. In the meantime, one of those that we will never tire of recommending.

Signalis is a love letter for the classic survival horror genre and that kind of fear and sci-fi mix that never fails. One of the surprises of this year.

A wonderful arcade as good as the previous one, but even its new and fun multiplayer can't save it from the lack of content.

A meditative game, with a strange pace and far from the the usual blockbuster. Intriguing and unique, but with some structural problems that tamper its potential.

Okamiden is a great Action RPG that preserves the spirit of Okami: Magic Brush, puzzles, sidequests and great characters. They has only one problem: this sequel is too similar than the Amaterasu game.

The makers of Alien Hominid once again have taken a genre and have given it some fresh elements to create a game that feels unique and special. Four players on the screen, a plot that involves heroes and the rescue of various princesses, and a lot of funny moments are the ingredients of one of the best available games in the Xbox Live marketplace. If you are like us and you love the classic Beat’Em ups, you should really check out Castle Crashers.

No open worlds, no map full of nonsense symbols, no rush to finish it, just an old school, old fashion 5th Gen platform experience. Spyro comes reignited in a game that takes its three and best adventures and gives them a new and polished look without sacrificing the original style.

Horace is a brilliant, difficult, sensitive, surprising platform game. An author's work full of cultural references and a beautiful humanist message. The little robot Horace is not more human for wearing a suit, tie and bowler hat, but for his huge and pure heart.

A nice take of a classic formula. Perfectly executed, true to its roots and made in a way that it feels modern and approachable. The Legend of Grimrock is a joy for lovers of Dungeon Crawlers, but it welcomes any type of player as long as he has patience.

Locomalito´s shoot em up is one of the best games the genre has seen over the years. Inspired by the games of yesteryear, improves their legacy in many ways with no need for a revolution. Go for it if you´ve ever enjoyed Gradius, R-Type or Darius.

Without any doubt this is an essential title for the fans of the Dishonored saga, being somehow "more of the same" but equally special and well taken care of down to the smallest detail. The ending point of a great story with great characters that any lover of action adventures with stealth and strategy should experience.

Fallout 3 gets new content and Broken Steel set a new quality level on the downloadable content for this game. Expanding the level cap up to 30 and adding a nice set of new items, enemies and weapons is only one of the features of this expansion. Also, it really makes you feel the way the original did and let you play with your characters forever so it's worth buying if you expend a lot of time developing your avatar.
