Phoenix Wright is back at his best. A handful of new gaming options take Dual Destinies to an upper-state of quality, although the core of the gameplay still focuses mostly in finding out the truth by means of thousands of lines of dialogue. Both fans and newcomers will enjoy the traditional approach of the franchise.

The story of Wrestlemania is the main character, with some of the greatest moments in WWE history recreated in game, and with some real scenes. But it's not the only content that WWE 2K24 offers, being the perfect place for every WWE fan.

Power changes everything. Jetpack changes Call of Duty. The Sledgehammer team has made Advanced Warfare fresh and new. It's a frantic game with spectacular fire in the air. Kevin Spacey can be happy about his appearance, it's brilliant. Activision has rewritten the formula.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a great single player adventure. Doesn’t invent anything, but its superb level design, solid combat mechanics and convincing recreation of Star Wars universe turn it into a must-have.

Alien Isolation brings back the survival horror style. It's an indispensable game for ALIEN fans, with Ripley's daughter in a new, enormous and dangerous space station. Not for any player, the stealth style is hardcore, slow and a little bit old.

If you like Call of Duty, Black Ops II is your new game. It doesn't innovate too much, it invents nothing, and it presents war as always but it works. Multiplayer modes are amazing again and zombies cause more problems now. The AI, graphics and minimal improvements spoil a bit the experience, but fans will love its strong multiplayer. Being able to play through the Wii GamePad is an interesting experience.

One of the most rewarding indie-games of this year finally arrives at PSN, a solid survival horror that offers a weird but quite interesting gameplay style. With a bunch of new elements added to its mechanic, this is by far the best Lone Survivor we'd have asked for.

Ashen shamelessly imitates the great saga of "Souls", but at the same time is able to show itself as a title with a strong personality and, above all, very fun and addictive. One of the "hidden" gems of the year.

Shift 2 Unleashed is a great racing game, with some nice touches like the helmet cam or the presence of rubber on the tracks. But its frantic gameplay makes the Elite game mode the only one that's truly playable and realistic. Overall, the AI is excellent, and that's nice. Recommended for all the racing fans out there.

Shadow Dragon is a very good Strategic RPG in which we'll be able to play the role of an imperial prince who has to save his world. Its a fair game, with good graphics and very much the same gameplay that made Fire Emblem famous. The multiplayer feature is still a work in progress, so perhaps next time.

Rise of the Pirate God is the grand season finale of Tales of Monkey Island, and it delivers. TellTale created an outstanding season from the beginning, and the great ending is just a fact of its greatness. But it's also true that they can do a better job, as they did with the second season of Sam & Max; hope they reach those heights with Monkey Island too.

Take an idea you implemented in another game, and extend it to make a new IP. That's the premise behind Captain Toad, but in this case it's taking something so good as the levels of Toad in Mario 3D World, and making a whole game with them. It's funny, smart, so adorable and screams Nintendo in every part of its code. Sure, perhaps the camera needs polish, and maybe it's easy and short, but try to get all the treasures on every level and we'll see if it's still so easy and short. A little gem in the Wii U catalog, certainly not for everybody -at least if they don't like puzzles games, or the platformers without a jump button- and it's one of those titles whose only purpose is to have fun with.

Intelligent Systems takes the risk of not following the path opened by the successful Awakening and Fates, but instead travels to the past to bring back the old mechanics from the obscure 2nd entry in the franchise. The result is a game that diverts from what people associate with Fire Emblem, that feels fresh at the start, but gets tedious due to the continuous random battles.
