Children of the Sun is a magnificent and original fusion of a sniper and puzzle game, with a bizarre and decadent aesthetic that evokes the Suda 51 games. Highly replayable, we loved its proposal, and just the fact that it ends abruptly in its best moment prevents it from becoming a modern classic.

It's not deep, the island is mostly empty, it lacks a decent cover system, and controls can be chaotic some times. But Just Cause 2 overcomes all of its flaws to deliver a fun and engaging experience, with so much freedom and many things to do on the island.

After four years of waiting, id rewards us with a surprisingly deep FPS, that combines the usual expertise of the studio in this genre with a rich and engaging world powered by the powerful id Tech 5.

Napoleon Total War is a great RTS game, an incredible homage to the real french emperor. With great gameplay, and several game modes for single player and multiplayer, it's a great addition to the series. But it relies heavily on the basics of Empire Total War, so it feels a bit held back due to the lack of real improvements.

Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 keep being fantastic games worth playing, the HD conversion is really good and it´s a pleasure playing them on the go with Vita. However, it was bad enough the original HD Collection didn't include Metal Gear Solid, but the cut of Peace Walker with no reasons make this a less than ideal "Collection". It is good, but it could be way better.

Samurai Shodown is totally unique and different from other actual fighting games. Strategic, dangerous and satisfactory gameplay is its best hallmark.

Firewatch is a new adventure similar to Journey or Dear Esther. Campo Santo has done a great job with the visual style and with every sound in the game. Firewatch is a beautiful journey with an engaging narrative.

The Invisible Hours is to Agatha Christie what Virginia was to David Lynch, a love letter. «It's not a game, it's not a movie», the studio says. It's a really nice VR experience and a must have to those who look for a good story, we say.

A great remaster collection with new content, visual improvements and texts in English.

For those wondering what a new treasure shmup could be like, here is a possible answer. Drainus blends all and new with style, polished mechanics and brilliant level design.

The same game with better graphics. Star Fox 64 3D is a classic remake, fun, but with little added. The online modes are very simple. Fox works in 3D as we expected. No more.

Darkest Dungeon II is an absolute revolution of what we saw in its predecessor. Only the hard battles will be some familiar to those who played that game, finding a completely different game apart from that, and of course, better. Much better.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice is probably the most effective game in the whole series. It provides an engaging story that answers most of the questions from Trials and Tribulations. Despite its flaws, a remarkable purchase.

Amanita offers us a new jewel in its impeccable catalog. Chuchel is a wonderful fusion of comedy and adventure that unfortunately is too short and lacking in challenge. Despite this, its overflowing sense of humor and creativity make it worthwhile to enjoy this awesome adventure of the great Czech studio.

Gran Turismo 6 becomes a must-have for those who really love cars and driving. Yamauchi has created a piece of art, where every sound, model, engine or circuit are extremely realistic. Player, are you ready to be a driver?

Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero is a fantastic tribute to the saga and to Akira Toriyama.

DiRT 5 does not bring anything revolutionary to the arcade driving genre, but it does manage to set the saga in a territory where no one can doubt its existence. DiRT is still DiRT, an episode that takes the best of the first three numbered installments and does not forget to provide the excellent set design of the Rally side. This anarchic philosophy is enjoyed at the controls, but it suffers from a series of technical problems and graphic finishes that are below expectations. A remarkable title specially designed for lovers of the saga and four wheels, but which fails to establish itself as a benchmark in its genre.

GoldenEye is not the remake many were expecting, and it doesn't live up to the original. GoldenEye is its own game, a new entry on James Bond's series, with great plot and gameplay and, even more important, one of the best FPS out there for the Nintendo Wii.

Sifu is a great beat'em up, with challenging bosses, and an intelligent progress system. It's satisfactory to beat because you feel how you've improved on the way.

Catherine Full Body delights us with a refreshed puzzle experience and an improved narrative.

Gearbox returns with a new entry in the Borderlands saga and it's the best one yet. It has more guns, a better gunplay, a bunch of iconic characters and a great story, more planets to explore and interesting quests. Even though it has some bugs yet to be fixed, fans are going to enjoy Borderlands 3 and it's going to become a good entry in the shooter-looter genre.

The little creatures from Patapon are back and well in this sequel that's basically the same game with a few additions that turns the game into a better and more profound experience for those who love music and strategy. We'll enjoy once more a strange but satisfying world at war, in which our only duty is to protect and serve the little and charismatic Patapon warriors.

An enjoyable surprise.

Former Clover members prove their talent with this beat'em up portrayed with this comic-book look drawn with black, white and red colors. Modern art with a great sense of humor mixed with a macabre tone, MadWorld can only be blamed for its 6 hours campaign and the little depth it offers as a brawler, compared to the biggest games in the genre.
