Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen offers more challenge, monsters and secrets than the original Dragon's Dogma experience. Hours and hours of monsters, tough challenges and big map full of treasures. Some technical problems and limited online functions temper this ambitious project.

A free to play title which results in a surprising experience that offers a wide world to explore, a simple but fun combat system, a wide cast of characters to play with and many hours of entertaining.

Skulls of the Shogun is a nice game for starters in the genre, with a great visual style and a very funny screenplay. It's not the best turn-based strategy game around, but it's definitely a good one.

It´s a poor man's Far Cry 3 without the stunning vistas and cut mechanics, but it´s also a fun homage to the 80s and Action Hero movies, all while delivering a nice and straightforward shooter.

Happy Game is the most enjoyable nightmare of this year. Amanita Design´s new gem is another great point and click adventure game in the personal Amanita´s style, with a superb horrific and macabre tone in this occasion.

The team behind Bravely Second put forth a big effort and love while creating the game that's easy to spot in every detail. Despite being a direct sequel sharing similar graphics, music and gameplay with its predecessor, the interesting new plot, that will keep the player anxious to know more; and the well designed battle system, that makes it fun to level up, make this title stand out as one of the best RPG ever made not only for Nintendo 3DS, but overall.

Civilization: Beyond Earth refreshes the saga, even if it had to move light-years away from its original setting. It offers a wide variety of choices making each game different from the last... Although it needs an important improvement on its AI. Civilization: Beyond Earth will give us many hours of fun, playing alone or with friends.

Freedom Planet 2 is the perfect example of more and better: fussy but satisfactory gameplay, audiovisually overwhelming and loaded with tons of content.

Although you can live an alternate life in Hinterberg, what makes this game really different is those beautiful and extremely fun dungeons. Its artistic design completes one of the best indies of the summer season.

Terraria is funny, it's addictive and it's big, but it's best played on PC. Re-Logic has a good idea, different from Minecraft, a game that you might want to know and maybe it will soon be your favorite. 2D pixel style with RPG, platforms and freedom.

The Assassin's Creed franchise returns after a year of absence with a new game set in Ancient Egypt. Origins is a new beginning for the series, and comes along with several major changes in gameplay design. Ubisoft's Egypt is not only beautiful and dangerous, but also a mysterious living world. The new RPG system, the redesigned combat system, and the missions are the pillars of Assassin's Creed Origins. It is more an evolution of the formula than a revolution. Of course it´s not a perfect game, specially because the battle system doesn´t work so well with many enemies. Also, the AI should be improve in the future.

Sometimes Visage shows the seams of a project with less resources than the games that serve as its inspiration, but the final result overcomes it and translates into a long and varied experience with an absolutely terrifying atmosphere.

Faster, deeper and more dynamic. The team has done a remarkable job balancing the fighters, putting the focus back on fighting and developing a robust online mode, with plenty of room for a healthy community. A real back-to-form for the series.

Project Cars is the result of four years of work by more than 80,000 backers and testers. That's why it's so bright and it recovers the driving simulation as we wanted. This is a game with all that can be asked to a game, it's also very beautiful. Good lap, Slightly Mad Studios.

The Legend of Tian Ding woks great and exhibit his charm when you actually play on the very beautifully drawn streets of Taipei. The problem comes when you realize that you will spend half of your time reading. Even with that, this game's charm is unquestionable.

Let's learn how to take the same game that we tasted two years ago and, adding a new control scheme, the experience changes from top to bottom. That's what 5th Cell has managed to do with Super Scribblenauts - It's the same as the first one, but it just takes the experience to another level.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade's a piece of art, or art by itself. It's a simple beat 'em up that's set on the early Japanese history, mainly focused on the personal story of two wanderers that're trying to earn a living smashing every enemy that's set on their way. It's one of the most interesting games for this console, lacking an in-depth story, but still a very joyful one.

Tails of Iron offers challenging combat along with some exploration touches with a shy metroidvania personality and some 2D platforming. And despite its little variety and a guided narrative, it offers an enjoyable game experience with some peaks in difficulty that represent quite a challenge. All this with an absolutely charming audiovisual presentation.
