Splatoon 2 is arguably the best entry in a multiplayer game from Nintendo. The game does everything better than the original Splatoon, although at first glance it could seem the same. Salmon Run and Hero Mode are just honey in the overall; it is excellent in its conception.

The Crown of Ivory King is the most challenging DLC of Dark Souls 2, with non linear adventure and some good new stuff like allies system. However, the enemies are too familiar for Dark Souls experts.

Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon is a good puzzle game, above all. With a simple gameplay based on chaining elements of the scenario, each movement makes the board react accordingly, balancing the action with the turns in a sublime way. It surprises for how easy it is to understand its mechanics, how accessible and how addictive its formula is; but it doesn't justify its roguelite elements because of the little importance of each run's findings. A very good gateway to the genre for those who enjoy this kind of proposals, with a moderate challenge that requires a few hours to get out of this pocket dungeon. Once again, Shovel Knight shows that it has potential in genres other than classic platforming. More than recommended.

Stunning in its audiovisual presentation and satisfying in its gameplay, MIO: Memories in Orbit is the first great metroidvania of 2026.

Good graphics, new and improved battle system, engaging plot... SEGA has made, once again, a superb title that moves away from some of the conventions of the franchise (such as the experience gathering and progression system, the possibility to save anywhere...) but keeps the essence of what makes Yakuza, Yakuza.

The Astral World is one of the best Nintendo Switch 2 Editions released to date. It comes with a 4 hours expansion featuring some truly eye-catching levels and a boost in smoothness and resolution that we now can't live without. It's still one of the character's best titles and a must-play platformer.

UFC 2009 Undisputed offers a great game dynamics, with great visuals, an amazing combat system, and many game modes. A great game, but it's too hard to master and, due to the competition itself, it's a game just for hardcore fans.

Little Nightmares 2 continues the adventure of this nightmare in a unique way, managing to exceed your expectations by introducing different novelties, although it was expected with a longer duration.

It's nothing sort of a miracle that Square Enix has managed to transform the original Final Fantasy XIV in this beautiful, packed full of content and enjoyable MMO. Sometimes it´s a bit too classic and safe in its design, but the result is excellent. Naoki Yoshida and his team have reasons to be proud.

As always, Duel of the Planewalkers is a perfect entry point for people interested in Magic but are intimidated by the real thing or the ultra competitive Magic The Gathering Online. And, as always too, it lets us wanting for more. Duels series won't be able to stay as the "the entry point" forever.

To put it simply, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is the best way to play this masterpiece originally launched in 2006. It adapts an all-time classic for modern systems, and does it very well.

This new chapter brings us back to the best moments of the second season, with its great development of the story and great puzzles. A five-hours-long perfect mix that won't disappoint Sam and Max die-hard fans.

Madden 17 is a great Football game with deep and solid mechanics. It maintains a good balance between offense and defense systems, dozens of tactic options and powerful graphics.

Connected Career, new Infinity Engine for new physics and Madden classic gameplay make Madden NFL 13 best than his predecessors.

NHL 13 delivers fast-paced hockey and an addictive gameplay that takes it back to the top of the sports genre. The new game modes aren't the most important features of 13's edition, but the so-called true skating skill system. With a new way of skating and a more realist approach, EA Canada serves up another must-buy for this year.

With great visuals and intense heart-pounding gameplay, completed with a replayable Campaign mode and a solid Multiplayer offering that fans of the saga (and gamers who look for a great FPS experience) will love, Resistance 3 turns into the best game in the series so far, making it an epic conclusion to Insomniac's and PlayStation 3's exclusive trilogy.

A brilliant update to the original game. The additions improve the core values of Orcs Must Die! and makes it a bigger and better game. It has its flaws, like a poor design of some maps, but the co-op, the improved character developement and the Endless mode are fantastic improvements.

An exceptional game in each and every one of its sections, a near-masterpiece.

HAL Laboratory's Bye-Bye BoxBoy! it's a brilliantly designed and delightful puzzle game. New mechanics and ideas come and go constantly. A jewel in the Nintendo 3DS's eShop.

A worthy follower of Quest legacy with some interesting advances in narratives choices, but not as excellent as the games from Matsuno.

A new pack with three indispensable adventures, including online modes. The games are less mature and deep, but always fun. An opportunity to know how Ratchet and Clank started.

Fullblox is another brilliant puzzle game for Nintendo 3DS. Deeper mechanics, full of stages and great challenges. Only for the Expo NES levels this game it's a must have.

Surprising, fun, original, creative... There're many ways to describe what The Odd Gentlemens have done with P.B. Winterbottom. Following the typical gameplay mechanics of 2D adventures, this's an XBLA exclusive that reminds the greatness of Braid and the singularity of the classical cinema. A must-have that has to be on every gamer's shelf.

Revengeance is a great hack and slash: Frantic, fun and fast running at 60 fps. It's a good mix of Metal Gear's universe and Platinum Style, but Raiden fails with stealth situations.

Trine is a very special game. It reminds us of classic games like Another World, Flashback or Prince of Persia, but with a new gameplay based in co-op and great visuals. But it's too short and it has just one co-op game mode for 3 players in LAN, which is no good. If not for that, this would be one of the greatest downloadable games yet.

Darksiders is a great game, fun and entertaining. A lengthy action-adventure game, with some good ideas taken from other titles. Overall is great, but it lacks its own gameplay and ideas.

Starfield is far from meeting the expectations it has generated over the years.
