Red Dead Redemption offers a script that Sergio Leone would have loved to film, and the epic of Sam Peckinhpah. A great sandbox, with a compelling story, that may not be a masterpiece, but it delivers. Have no doubts: ride your horse, play as John Marston and let yourself be swept away.- Meristation

Split/Second Velocity is a great arcade racing game, with fresh and unique ideas that gives new life to the genre. Spectacular and fast as there is no other, unfortunately its gameplay mechanics are so restricted that players can't really improve their skills, and that is not as fun as it should have been. With a deeper array of game modes and gameplay mechanics, this would have been an amazing game.- Meristation

Outstanding. It's the only way to describe the first work of the Spanish workgroup Akaoni Studios. They wanted to create a shooter involved with the classical gameplay-style of the genre and they've done it. It's probably the most beautiful game on the WiiWare - it's a pity that its lifespan it's just a couple of hours. An excellent ARPG that takes the best elements of Divine Divinity and updates them in a imaginative game full of flavor and personality. Engaging combat system, a rich character development, interesting sidequests... all that are the bricks of a very solid game that could be even better without some major problems, like the ending.- Meristation

The original Adventure of the Belmont's family is back as a brand-new M2 production. We'll find very much the same as in the first Castlevania games that we played two decades ago: plenty of jumps, enemies and a deep and well obtained feeling of isolation underneath the eyes of Dracula. If you're a fan of the series, go for it. If you're not, here you have a good reason to try with something different. It's not flawless but it's worth the look.- Meristation

Good, but flawed, The Crystal Bearers' decent gameplay has some cool ideas, but is held back by a myriad of issues. Good graphics lacking more depth, interesting story that takes too long to blast off and can't avoid classical clichés of the genre.- Meristation

Battle Fantasia, a fighting game developed by Arc System Works, creators of Guilty Gear franchise, is a good title, with 12 beautifully illustrated characters in a good JRPG style. But this game can't compete with the high profile fighters, especially SFIV, or the own GG saga.- Meristation

Fun, deep and engaging. Football Manager Handheld 2010 is the game for football sims lovers who own a PSP. It's not a huge step forward compared to 2009's version, but it's more polished and delivers what we expected it to.- Meristation

The Saboteur is another victim of the hype fever that nowadays some titles in development use to suffer. The historical context is very appealing, aesthetics and artistic production are well worked and it's a hooking story. It's even an attractive proposal to mix different genres to create a personal style, but fails to make a fully enjoyable adventure.- Meristation

This new entry in the Silent Hill series is, simply, one of the best entries in the franchise. It knows what players want and fear, and show them their inner fears on-screen. A great game, with an unforgettable story, but unfortunately it's too short and quite easy.- Meristation

Rise of the Pirate God is the grand season finale of Tales of Monkey Island, and it delivers. TellTale created an outstanding season from the beginning, and the great ending is just a fact of its greatness. But it's also true that they can do a better job, as they did with the second season of Sam & Max; hope they reach those heights with Monkey Island too.- Meristation

A new entry on the series, a new success. The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo's greatest franchises, and there's no doubt that it deserves it; Spirit Tracks is a huge game, beautiful, with an incredible cooperative gameplay and many things to do.- Meristation

Dave Gibbons' masterwork is back on the scene with a fair adaptation of the original Rogue Trooper. Same action, graphics and storyline fora game that has a lot to say even thought its a short adventure. We'll get through it in less than 8 hours- and without an online multiplayer.- Meristation

It's not a bad game: it has its moments, it has several gameplay mechanics, and it has its own personality. But, overall, it's just an average game, with nothing we hadn't seen before, and it's extremely short. Not even the multiplayer makes it worthy.- Meristation
