Set on planet BG-386; a human colonist mining group discovers an ancient pyramid containing a dark and horrible secret. Across the galaxy, a race of warriors is alerted to the discovery of their pyramid and a hunting party is dispatched to ensure that it remains sealed at all costs. Deep inside the ruined pyramid meanwhile, nature's deadliest species awakes from centuries of hibernation intent on finding new prey. The Colonial Marine's story is an incredible fight against all odds from horrors lurking in the dark. Surrounded on all sides yet armed to the teeth, the Colonial Marine represents humanity's last stand with the firepower to fight back. As the Alien, players discover what it's like to be the scariest, most murderous creature in the universe, with the ability to traverse any surface at lightning speed in order to get close enough to unleash its deadly claws, tail and teeth.     Aliens vs Predator it's a fun to play FPS. The singleplayer is quite enjoyable if played with one of the creatures, but unfortunately playing as marine doesn't scare as it once did. Aesthetically the games looks quite old on consoles, but it sounds exactly as the movies. After finishing the game, you'll find a complete and quite well made multiplayer mode, entertaining thanks to the good calibration of the three races.

    Alien vs. Predator is not the greatest of games, but it is not all bad. Also with the poor visuals and a multiplayer system that isn’t all that interesting, you’ll probably put the game down once you finish all the campaign stories.

    Rebellion is unable to recreate the glory days of the first game. In trying, they have been way too conservative. The result is a game that looks and feels a lot like the original, which doesn’t hold up that much in this day and age. The multiplayer compensates for the single player, but not enough.

The controls are fluid once you get used to them (plus there are many schemes to choose from). The sound is excellent taken straight from the alien movies, The gameplay is very good, all species feel different to play. The multiplayer is very good and feels fresh compared to other games. It's really fun to play species team deathmatch as well as other modes. If you are an avp fan then this game is the next best thing to the original alien and predator movies (not the two crappy avp). It feels as if you are watching "aliens" all over again which is a very good thing. In short it looks great, it plays great, it feels great and its worth its money. Sure it's not GOTY material or Killzone 3 but it is a very good game nonetheless and doesn't deserve any score below 7-8.… Expand

The marine campaign is boring, but the alien and predators have special execution moves, that you will performing throughtout. Both alien and predator have maybe a dozen unique executions that are very violent and satisfying. Other than that, the game isnt very good, nor exciting. Buy it on amazon used for $10, thats what I did.… Expand
