This new Xbox 360 exclusive is not what we expected. It has a lot of potential: it's a game with a lot of action in it, great gameplay, and quite charming. But it reuses many of its gameplay elements: backgrounds and enemies are almost always the same, and the game is not as deep as it promises at the beginning. A good game, but From Software could have done it much better.- Meristation

Elven Legacy is the classic turn-based strategy game, flavored with a touch of good role-playing. Released as a continuation of Fantasy Wars, you don't need the original game in order to play it. This game combines two styles of play that have proved to work perfectly, and put them in a well built fantasy world. Although it could hardly compete against the masters of the genre like Total War or Civilization series, it won't be weird if we were to meet future releases of this new series. Elven Legacy assures us several hours of fun featuring elves and many other creatures or monsters, rich colored graphics and a nice background story.- Meristation

It's more than just a musical game. It's pure rhythm. Nintendo has done it again with an completely original game, and outstanding one that will hit the streets in no time. Larry Loveage is the nephew of Larry Laffer, but he's not half as charming as his uncle. Guitar Hero Metallica lands with many cool new features and very good presentation. Taking the role of one of the greatest bands of all time is not an easy task, but the game manages well to give the player a huge amount of songs, while fitting well for different skill levels. Furious fret working and thundering drumming are the basics of what achieve to be a great tribute. Only the length of the songs, which can exhaust almost any player on highest difficulty and the decision to not be compatible with other downloadable content different than Death Magnetic are real drawbacks on this great game.- Meristation

The Wheelman is a fusion between the sandbox and the race genre. Featuring ideas taken from games like Driver, Need for Speed and GTA, Vin Diesel is the main figure of the staff between the game. Controlling Milo Burik, a sort of undercover cop, we´ll travel to Barcelona to see what´s happening there. We´ll never know which is our real objective, and the plot lacks depth and connection. Racing through Barcelona, we found a decent game that has a mix of driving and shooting. Pack this with a fair graphic engine and you have a title that performs well but is not at the level of the best.- Meristation

Like Emerald or Crystal, Pokémon Platinum is more an expansion for Diamond and Pearl than a whole new game. Because of that, the graphics one of the best Nintendo DS RPG are still totally outdated and the gameplay is extremely similar to the first versions of Pokémon. The history mode hasn't changed significantly, although the Distortion World appears as a very different dungeon. The online experience is even richer with the inclusion of Wi-Fi Plaza and the Vs. Killzone 2 rises from the ashes of the E3 2005 trailer to prove itself as even better; the most outstanding, immersive and technologically advanced first person shooter available for any console on the market. Renegade Kid's latest adventure is very much the same game as what we saw with Dementium: The Ward, but please note that's set in a different environment. This time your main role is to become Major Kane, a soldier that has to find our why his entire troop disappeared with no reason at the Moon. This time we'll find out.- Meristation

After two months of waiting, Mirror's Edge has come to the PC. This version is identical to the consoles, but with a few changes to make it more astonishing. The use of the NVIDIA PhysX engine makes the game more realistic and the graphics are smoother thanks to the use of AA filter. One of the most innovative game of 2008 is now even better in 2009.- Meristation

Lumines Supernova is a great addition to the PSN catalogue. Lumines is one of the best puzzles created in the last years, and this new version conserves all the qualities of the original one. Unfortunately, the online modes shine by their absence.- Meristation

Atlus' latest game for PlayStation 2 is with no doubt a masterpiece for this console. It takes the genre far away from what we're used to seeing nowadays. It's not the best JRPG so far, though, but it has all it takes to become an instant classic. If you're willing to enjoy a never-ending game with a immersive story and a lot of characters to deal with, do not hesitate, this is your best choice.- Meristation

Dragon Ball: Infinite World is a fair adaptation of Akira Toriyama's series, with tons of playable characters and different scenarios, but nothing more. The new Dragon Mission mode is not enough to justify this new entrey on the series, but still its a good game that has nothing to do with Budokai 3 or Budokai Tenkaichi 3.- Meristation

Grand Theft Auto IV means the matureness for Rockstar, abandoning -though not completely- all its insane humor and arcade action, this chapter of Niko Bellic captures the essence of the american society with black humor, great narrative and the characteristic 'sandbox' gameplay that the franchise has featured all this years. For the PC version all stays the same: only the great technical optimization, the original video-editor and the 32 players online modes are present as news. But, when you leave a masterpiece exactly the same, its a right move.- Meristation

Once Again, Ubisoft Montreal takes us to Persia, this time an arid desert where we will face great dangers. With its cell-shading graphics and the incredible platforming areas, the Prince is better than ever; also, this time he has a great companion, Elika. A huge adventure, beautiful and great, but with some technical issues, extremely easy and very straightforward.- Meristation

Path of the Furon is, by far, the worst game in the Destroy All Humans franchise. Technically very flawed, with a very bad gameplay. We can't understand how destruction can be so boring and unappealing, but that's what this game has to offer. Better let the franchise die.- Meristation

Age of Empires: Mythologies is based in the same great game design used in its prequel, Age of Kings. The game has been expanded with more units and options like the new god powers. And if you get tired of the very long campaign, which can last more than 20 hours, you can compete using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and the added multiplayer mode. One of the best strategy games for Nintendo DS.- Meristation

Square Enix launches its RPG for the world. The Last Remnant offers a new gameplay in the genre, with many good ideas, a fun storyline, and some great moments. Anyway, it doesn't fulfill all of the promises made, and it seems to fall short of charm in some momentos. Some technical issues and an extremely simple gameplay for an RPG are its main flaws.- Meristation

A risky game with a control system based on the movement and the Wii Balance Board. The best skaters will see in it a different proposal and a quality game for Nintendo's console. But there are also problems and frustrations with that system.- Meristation

While its bugs and some other annoyances from the other versions have been successfully corrected, the whole package is still a bit lacking. Some control and technical problem are the main obstacles that this game find to really shine, a shame because it´s filled with good ideas and has a great presentation.- Meristation

Sonic comes back too Wii with a extremely fast game that feels more arcade than adventure, with an eye on the past of the series that makes it recover some of its lost feeling. The dazzling velocity can be well managed thanks to excellent controls, but we miss more pure velocity stages and a bit of more variety overall.- Meristation

A judge is what this Castlevania really needs. This franchise first time on Wii is a time-waster for anybody who wants to expend a nice afternoon playing with some friends. Not even its graphics are what they should be. Its a very poor game on every aspect except for its decent sound, but nothing more than that.- Meristation
