It took four Formula One games on the current console generation, but with F1 2018, Codemasters finally succeeds in most areas. Most of the bugs are gone, the tracks look better than ever, the career mode is deeper, and the physics are improved. The only thing we miss is more variety outside of the excellent career mode.

With over 50 games on the roster Sega Mega Drive Classics has something for most retro fans. Granted most of the games have already been seen in older collections and the emulation is not always perfect, but the ability to quick save and especially rewind is a game changer. Even though some will call it cheating, the ability to undo mistakes makes the classic games much more accessible and enjoyable than ever before.

Extreme speeds, brutal crashes and intense races – Onrush got it all. If you want an arcade racer in the veins of Blur and Burnouts Road Rage mode, this is for you. We do worry about the longevity of the game as it only offers four game modes and has a pretty serious online focus. But hopefully Onrush will find enough fans to garner a vital online community, because this is the most fun we have had in a racing game since Burnout's heydays.

A port of last years Wolfenstein II to the Nintendo Switch seemed like an impossible task, but Panic Button has exceeded our expectations. Sure, there are some massive downgrades regarding the graphics, but the core gameplay is pretty much intact. After more than eight years Persona 5 is finally here – and it is well-worth the wait. The lengthy adventure never gets boring thanks to a fantastic combat system, great characters and lots of different things to do. While it may not be perfect, it is the best and most accessible Persona game yet – and the best Japanese role playing game in many years.

With an outstanding combat system For Honor offers a unique take on medieval action games. The combat truly excels against other players online and it is apparent that the online mode is where your time should be spent. Offline players, however, will not find much to do except hammering around in a repetitive story mode.
