Fun and clever, Grim Fandango stands to this day as one of the most original adventure games ever created. The remastered version features most welcome developer commentary, new controls and graphical improvements. Lovers of the DĂa de los muertos and the film noir genre should not miss this cherished adventure.- LevelUp

This year’s mastery of the Frostbite engine offers an impressive visual experience with players represented close to reality. Visually and audibly its a success. At the same time, improvements in important game modes, Franchise and Ultimate Team, guarantee weeks of fun that will be driven by the start of the regular season and endless interaction with the community. Madden NFL 19 is a satisfying experience, one of the best entries in years. But is it like winning a game with a Hail Mary pass? Not yet, but it's close to happening.- LevelUp

Wasteland 2: Director's Cut is an old school CRPG experience like no other available right now in the console market. It is unforgiving, deep and liberating. Turn-based RPG fans will be delighted with Wasteland 2 and shouldn't miss its release.- LevelUp

After Pokémon GO's massive success, Game Freak tried to bring some of its core mechanics to the mainline series with Pokémon: Let’s Go! As a result, we have a new fresh take on the series that does a lot of things right, but also lacks in others, especially the postgame.- LevelUp

To the clinical eye of the hardcore fan, Crash Bandicoot 4 on Nintendo Switch can be considered as avoidable, however, this may well be different for those who seek the portable experience. Despite the obvious limits of this version, everything, maintains its essence in terms of design and mechanics, saving it from disaster.- LevelUp

Vicarious Visions and Blizzard Entertainment have done something amazing with Diablo II: Resurrected. It is much more than a tribute. It is a sign that the first game is unrepeatable and that it remains so fresh despite the years (at least for some, because it is evident that it aged particularly badly). Therefore, Diablo II: Resurrected is a careful recommendation. It is a game for veterans of the original, fans and curious.- LevelUp

Nidhogg 2 manages to improve over the feats of its predecessor by adding just the right amount of new ingredients to keep the experience intense and simple but, above all, fun. We're talking about competition on a very basic level but with a very polished and sophisticated execution. Simply put, Nidhogg is a game that you should try at least once.- LevelUp

LEGO City: Undercover is a fascinating adventure that even though it stays close to the franchise roots, it also takes a different approach with its own identity and charming originality. Infused with clever jokes, brilliant puzzles and excellent narrative, it doesn't need far away galaxies nor Middle Earth myths in order to bring pure fun.- LevelUp

It doesn't matter if this game looks great, it's a dull experience nevertheless, disguised with gimmicks such as jumps between foreground and background. The minigames included don't add up much to the experience. When you have so many quality platformers on the 3DS, it's hard to find a good reason to play this one.- LevelUp

Mario Party Superstars is a clear example that you don’t have to repair something that is not broken. Its a trip back to the Nintendo 64 era and the early years of the GameCube, that is, the time when Mario Party was most relevant.- LevelUp

The foundations are fun, however inFAMOUS Second Son suffers from a lack of variety when it comes to combat and the missions become dull after a while. Aside from the gorgeous new updated visuals and impeccable performance, there are no signs of game design evolution. Next time, we want to interact with the beautiful city in a way worthy of the new generation of consoles.- LevelUp

Guitar Hero Live represents a re-release of the franchise, bent on bringing innovation and relevance back to a lost genre; its production values are off the charts, but the game leaves behind some essential features such as challenge, social gameplay and content preservation.- LevelUp

Conceptually fresh and quite deep, The Division delivers on almost every level despite some minor bugs and sporadic crashes. The Dark Zones need some work and true to the genre, there is a sense of repetition here and there, but in the end The Division feels like an early Christmas present.- LevelUp

Madden NFL 15 won't break the mold in terms of gameplay innovation, but its new looks coupled with a much-needed improvement on the defensive side of the ball and the Gauntlet mode, add some freshness to the formula and, most importantly, make this the first truly next-gen iteration of the series.- LevelUp

Cygames did a great job of turning a gacha game into an epic adventure full of action and magic. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Relink capitalizes on the charisma of its characters and their abilities. The best part is that we can unlock them without paying and harness their power in awesome boss battles. Although it is an action RPG, it takes advantage of other elements to make things more interesting. If it were more extensive, had a more solid multiplayer system and more exploration elements, it would be perfect.- LevelUp

While the new engine, based on Kojima Production's FOX Engine, allowed a visual improvement, it also helped us realize that the game's physics are in need of a little renovation. The game modes are basically the same as in previous editions, but the real improvements were made in its core mechanics. Obsessive players are going to be able to control every detail of the game, but newcomers might feel overwhelmed by all the new possibilities that the complex control scheme allows.- LevelUp

Scott Pilgrim EX is a remarkable sequel because it respects its predecessor and the franchise as a whole while seamlessly adding numerous elements that makes it a clear step forward. Although it removes some elements from the original that worked well, can become quite repetitive, and we feel it could have done more to encourage replayability, it delivers a well-rounded experience for both solo players and those who enjoy multiplayer.- LevelUp

Both episodes of Burial at Sea develop different and interesting aspects of the BioShock franchise: stealth and the opportunity to visit Rapture in all its glory. Maybe the second episode is the best in terms of new game mechanics, but the first one does a wonderful job at complementing the excellent plot first established by BioShock Infinite.- LevelUp

Knockout City is a balanced title and a fun game to play: victory or defeat is defined by your skills and not classes, perks or anything that gives players an advantage above others. Even so, with its current game modes, there is little motivation to keep fighting dodgeball style.- LevelUp
