Tormented Souls 2 is a love letter to the survival horror genre that major companies abandoned years ago. Although many players won’t be able to stand its deliberately old-school approach due to the clunky combat and complex puzzles, those who dare to give it a shot will find a game with excellent atmosphere that dares to challenge the player and be truly terrifying.- LevelUp

Shin Chan: Shiro and the Coal Town is an easy recommendation for any fan of Shin chan, as well as for those looking for a relaxing experience while exploring a beautiful place through the eyes of a 5-year-old boy with a lot of imagination. The game looks great and lets you engage in various farming tasks, collect all kinds of insects, fish, and minerals you come across, and enjoy some excitement in curious races. The best part is that the signature humor of the series is present at every moment.- LevelUp

Marvel Rivals understands that "if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it". While it borrows a lot of ideas from its competitors, it stands out thanks to its excellent roster of characters and some innovative systems, like team abilities. Most importantly, it’s incredibly fun and has great potential to expand with new heroes, game modes and more. Watch out, Overwatch... you have a new rival.- LevelUp

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond marks a triumphant return for Retro Studios delivering a masterfully crafted Metroidvania that captures the atmospheric tension and immersive world design that defined the original trilogy. With intelligent level design, fluid controls, striking art direction, and a strong sense of discovery, the game blends elements from past entries to produce a dynamic emotional experience. Although its slow opening and certain open-area sections slightly hold it back, Beyond ultimately proves that the long wait was worth it.- LevelUp

Even though it has a few flaws, Tales of Xillia surprised us with its freshness. It might not be a must have, but it's a solid game that strongly represents its franchise, and above all, Tales of Xillia is a game that anyone can pick up and enjoy.- LevelUp

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is a game that comes more as a luxury than a necessity. Just when it seemed that Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and SEGA had completely handed the baton to Ichiban Kasuga, they spoiled us with an installment that pays tribute to everything that made the series great and treats Kazuma Kiryu and the legacy he has within his universe as well as in the real world with immense respect. Yes, we will see Kiryu again in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, but he may never star in another installment. If so, it would be a phenomenal farewell to the Dragon of Dojima. Thanks for everything, Kiryu.- LevelUp

Sniper Elite's argument is irrelevant and forgettable, its characters are poorly developed and the general appearance of the game is deficient; however, an outstanding level design and well-implemented mechanics create a favorable and enjoyable game experience.- LevelUp

WWE 2K22 is an entry wrestling fans cannot miss. It has everything you can expect from WWE; from an enhanced look, a better and easier to remember control scheme, to a solid variety of modes where MyGM is the crowning jewel. WWE 2K22 is a foundation for the future of the franchise, and a far cry from the disaster of 2019.- LevelUp

The Wonderful 101 is an absolutely spectacular and memorable game that manages to represent the authentic spirit of arcade games, the original spark that gives life to great video games. This is not an easy game, nor does it facilitate the player's experience, but it reflects so much authenticity, life and pride for the trade that all minor imperfections are more or less forgiven.- LevelUp

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is a surprisingly addictive and creative social simulator that constantly delivers bizarre and funny moments. What starts as a simple concept quickly turns into a chaotic and engaging experience, driven by its deep Mii creator and the freedom to shape your island. Its humor, personality, and unexpected emotional moments make it stand out. It’s a great choice for players who enjoy creativity and lighthearted chaos, offering a unique and very enjoyable experience.- LevelUp

Since it was launched, the PS Vita has been longing for a game like this. Not only Killzone: Mercenary a good FPS, but it is also a solid addition to the scarce lineup of games in this portable console. Leaving aside some problems with the running and covering controls, the game offers a pleasant experience that we can't really see happening on another console.- LevelUp

This new edition of Heavy Rain highlights one of its best features: a great art direction and presentation. However, apart from the graphic improvements, there's not much else. It is a great cinematic experience, but the lack of additional content keeps us from recommending it to someone who has already finished the game in the past.- LevelUp

State of Decay is a fun game that puts you right in the middle of a zombie outbreak and forces you to stop and plan your survival strategy. If you've ever asked yourself what would you do in a zombie apocalypse scenario, this game will offer you a different perspective. And yes, you'll find a few annoying bugs and glitches, but you'll also find a compelling and powerful gaming experience.- LevelUp

Far Harbor is a juicy expansion. The island has identity and its large scale means many extra hours of exploration and discovery for the fans. On the other hand, the argument feels a bit redundant and the puzzle quests are utterly irritating. A solid expansion not a refreshing one.- LevelUp

GRID Autosport is a great comeback after GRID's 2 failure. Interior view is back and the 5 driving disciplines add a new challenge to the game. Career mode is challenging, but after a while it becomes repetitive and boring. On the other hand, multiplayer is the way the career mode should be. Overall is a fun game, but don't expect to be playing it a lot after a while.- LevelUp

CRISIS CORE -FINAL FANTASY VII- REUNION is another success in Square Enix's re-release strategy. It's a release that succeeds at taking an old PSP game and giving it a fresh coat of paint that leaves it shiny for new audiences. At the same time, it stays close enough to the original to be a true nostalgic travel ticket to 2007. As mentioned, there are things that some prefer about the original, but it's wonderful to have an official way to replay Crisis Core, especially when you consider how important Final Fantasy VII will be to Square Enix for years to come.- LevelUp

Charlie Murder is an extraordinary beat'em up that will offer you endless hours of action filled and fun gameplay. Its extraordinary soundtrack will submerge you in an apocalyptic punk world ravaged by the forces of evil and your mission is to send them back to the Netherlands. Ska Studios outdid themselves and created some of the most memorable characters in this genre's history.- LevelUp

Little Nightmares is a small game with a really great atmosphere. It may be best described as an early Tool video with a French stop motion short film scored by Danny Elfman and a pinch of a twisted version of Spirited Away. This mixture gives the game a lot of personality and makes it unique. Character design is simply superb and really adds to the overall eerie feeling of the game. Environmental puzzles are a little bit too simple, and that is its only strong shortcoming. We really enjoyed every creepy second of this game and wished it would be a bit longer. In short, Little Nightmares is a great interactive experience that is difficult to find anywhere else.- LevelUp

Life is Strange: True Colors is an immersive experience that connects the user with its characters and successfully transports the player to the town of Haven Springs. This moving story about emotions, empathy, love and loss is built very solidly on a well written script, very well developed characters, an intriguing story and very moving moments. Unlike DONTNOD's Life is Strange 2 that starts in a forced and sudden way, True Colors takes its time, is patient and shows its nuances little by little, at the right moment to tell its story. Unfortunately, everything that makes Life is Strange: True Colors great is overshadowed by an overwhelming technical deficiency on the Nintendo Switch, something that leaves me with a bittersweet taste. It is a fine game that should not be played on the Nintendo Switch.- LevelUp

Pepper Grinder isn't an indie that's going to shake up the industry; it's more of a cute little game that shows us that there's a lot of ground to be rediscovered in the genre. Its core mechanics are incredibly fun, so it's a shame that in the end you're left with the feeling that it could have been more.- LevelUp
