Virtua Fighter is a nostalgic trip to the arcades in the 21st century. If you want to quickly kick a friend's ass during a friendly meeting, this is definitely a good choice. Strangeland is an honest point'n’click adventure with elements of psychological horror with perfect dubbing that can't be confused with you. In his surreal world, you will encounter a thrilling unknown and a disturbing strangeness. The game does not throw sticks under your feet unnecessarily and thanks to the shorter playing time it can maintain a dense atmosphere.

The game offers an incredible amount of options, and if you don't enjoy the campaign, you can have a blast in the elaborate battle mode, where you'll command up to hundreds of warriors and work together to destroy enemies, protect villages or conquer castles. [Issue#324]

A small tactical game that plays well and looks good. If you like XCOM and you don´t have a problem with more stereotypical missions and sometimes a bigger role of RNG, you will probably like it. [Issue#304]

It works but it's more of an "MS Excel strategy" than a regular game – controls are minimalistic and the motivation to game is absent. [Sept 2012]

In some ways it reminded me of old gamebooks, and in others of the board game Mansions of Madness, where you encounter strange things and monsters every round, lose your health and sanity, and the game propels you forward at a breakneck pace. But even so, it's essentially a very stylish and relaxing clicker first and foremost, if you're used to relaxing with stories where people have holes multiplying in their bodies and a smile reaching the back of their necks. The quality of this game greatly depends on how you play soccer games. If you play together with your friends in the sofa, PES 2009 is tough to beat. But if you play by yourself or online PES 2009 is unfortunately too flawed when compared to the competition. This might be a much better game than last year's edition on Playstation 3, but the flaws are way to many and frustrating to make this a better game than it's competitor.

In comparison to its predecessors the fourth game is more precise and also easier. AI forgives much and if it not for cooperative mode, the game would feel more like a larger expansion than a full-fledged part. [Issue#272]
