Phantom Liberty is everything we expected from a Cyberpunk 2077 expansion, if not more. This techno-thriller immerses players in a gripping story that will have an unprecedented impact on the game universe. The ruined neighborhood of Dogtown is not to be outdone with its post-war atmosphere where the law of the strongest reigns supreme. master. Rich in content for around twenty hours of play, this DLC masterfully concludes V's dystopian epic in Night City.- Jeuxvideo.com

When you play Lies of P, you often have the feeling of playing a FromSoftware game. Enough to highlight the qualities of the games while exacerbating its faults. They are few in number and minimal but still demonstrate FromSoftware remains a cut above and above all the undisputed master in the field. However, Neowiz and Round8 deliver an excellent copy. We remember the nervous and jovial boss fights, a permanent reflection of one's build as well as the multiple choices of possible customization. Furthermore, this rewriting of the tale of Pinocchio shows easily and in an accessible manner how our choices and our responses can have consequences on the world around us. With Lies of P, Pinocchio is no longer a wooden puppet dreaming of being a young boy since he is clearly in the big leagues.- Jeuxvideo.com

After a weekend of intense play on the courts of NBA 2K24, the observation is there: the mechanics are very different from last season to perform on the floors, and progress in the career. It is less obvious to have a very complete player online, and the new defense and contact system will delight the greatest defenders and screen setters at heart. To complement the many hours of gaming required online, the single-player content of the software is still gargantuan, with welcome new features. We will simply complain about the ever more invasive micro-transaction system to progress quickly, and a Mamba Moments mode tribute to Kobe not at the level of that of Michael Jordan last season.- Jeuxvideo.com

Pokémon Scarlet/Purple: The Turquoise Mask is an extension of the base game. Simply put, it will suit players who had a good time initially. The story unfolds without a hitch, with endearing characters with interesting themes, especially as it builds up a certain suspense. The capture system still works just as well in a region that is smaller than Paldea. The Pokémon Company also brings some new features with a refreshing photo-related activity as well as a monster hunt dedicated to competitive enthusiasts. In summary, this first part of the DLC brings hours of additional gameplay that it would be a shame to miss for fans of Scarlet and Violet. Otherwise, it is better to move on since the Turquoise Mask does not bring anything revolutionary to the formula, whether in substance with the new Pokémon or in form with the technique which still makes people cringe.- Jeuxvideo.com

A high-level atmospheric experience, Under the Waves offers a truly immersive aquatic experience, enhanced by an absolutely memorable soundtrack (which you will undoubtedly want to listen to in your free time) and very convincing French performances. It's a shame that the story, although fascinating, suffers from a sometimes languorous pace, also hampered by laborious micro-tasks.- Jeuxvideo.com

For Final Fantasy 7 aficionados, the prospect of having this entire universe at their fingertips is delightful. The only downside is that Ever Crisis relies (too much?) on it and does not appear to be THE free-to-play of the moment. If we remove his clothing, what does he have left? Certainly, it is generous, overflowing with content and activities to perform, and sometimes flatters the retina despite the mix of styles. However, it does not avoid certain pitfalls (the investment time, the repetitive gameplay loop) and even deprives itself of part of the public due to its lack of translation. The fact remains that it offers a booster shot at a lower cost before Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth but will have to rely on quality updates (the missing pieces of the Collection, for example) to really do justice to this episode of the saga.- Jeuxvideo.com

Sea of Stars has everything from an excellent tribute to the biggest names in Japanese role-playing games of the 90s. A well-paced story, a cast of characters to which we quickly become attached for their assumed personalities. It manages to do the same amazing job as its role models, thanks to its jaw-dropping art direction and adventure-perfect soundtrack. If the fights are engaging and push the player to think about each confrontation, they tend to lengthen the good dynamics of the title. It is especially by the lack of evolution of gameplay for the characters that the players will be able to find a certain weariness. If Sea of Stars is therefore not as revolutionary as its spiritual masters in their time, it should still have a place of choice on a shelf of your toy library in 2023. It may well establish itself as the independent game of the year if Silksong remains discreet or even claim prices from much fiercer competition. More than a great performance for a UFO from the 90s.- Jeuxvideo.com

Baldur's Gate 3 on PlayStation 5 has nothing to envy with Baldur's Gate 3 on PC. Larian Studios didn't sacrifice its RPG to run it on Sony's console. This role-playing game retains all of the content of the PC version (even local cooperation via split screen) and offers an optimal controller experience. The few faults of BG3 are still present (in particular the “pad” interface), but for the rest, it is flawless.- Jeuxvideo.com

Titanic, massive… adjectives fail to describe the immensity of Starfield. Shining like a sun, Bethesda's software is indeed the Skyrim in space that SF enthusiasts hope for. Admittedly, by not revolutionizing any mechanics specific to the genre, the software can be seen as a small nebulous step for the C-RPG. But it's a giant leap for great video game adventures, even if some features lack depth. Gigantic, captivating in its missions, full of things to do and discover, Starfield is an undeniable success. With its original New Game +, it will enchant you for countless hours.- Jeuxvideo.com

Ascendant Studio manages to lay a solid foundation in the magical FPS genre without, however, rising to the heights of the greatest. So much the better for them then, since they are therefore following the same path as their master.- Jeuxvideo.com

With Armored Core 6, FromSoftware brilliantly shows that its know-how is not limited to Dark Souls or Elden Ring. The Japanese studio delivers here an action game with a rather irreproachable gameplay, at the same time tactical, demanding and ultra-dynamic, spearheading a frantic pace title... Do not be fooled by the supposedly old-school structure with individual assignments. Fires of Rubicon immerses you directly in the action, and knows how to draw when necessary linear, more open phases, bosses, not to mention still impressive panoramas. Despite a slight disappointment for the major enemies, in the 2nd part of the adventure, and a small lack of content, Armored Core 6 is an addictive title, which sticks to the skin. A great action game, even if you don't have a crush on mechas.- Jeuxvideo.com

Bethesda and ZeniMax's promise has been kept. We do have a good thirty hours of play to enjoy Necrom, however, the quality of the content offered is really uneven. On the one hand, we have very classic content that is very well known to players, on the other hand, we have interesting new features which in certain aspects would have, despite everything, deserved a little more balancing and attention, in particular for Nymic Strongholds and the Telvan Peninsula. However, Necrom remains a good expansion that invites us to spend the summer in a captivating story.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Game Kitchen manages to do very well by combining video games and Andalusian folklore. They once again demonstrate their mastery of metroidvania with Blasphemous 2 by further pushing the formula of the first episode: three weapons directly integrated into the gameplay, an atmosphere that is still just as gloomy and combat that is gratifying and far from insoluble. However, those who did not catch the first episode are not likely to be converted as the evolution remains too timid in our opinion.- Jeuxvideo.com

With its controls much more suited to the PC than to consoles, Gord is not without flaws in terms of ergonomics and readability, but it largely makes up for it with its tortured atmosphere at will. Survival in a dark fantasy world populated by nightmares is a long succession of tests and crucial choices, especially when madness awaits our units with each new incursion into darkness. Too bad that the strategic stakes impose permanent vigilance on the management side because this is done a little to the detriment of exploration and adventure.- Jeuxvideo.com
