Max Caulfield is back and she's stronger than ever. A narrative game in the vein of Quantic Dream's works, but with its own identity, Life is Strange Double Exposure is an astonishing experience. While managing to emancipate itself, the game narrates a different poetry for a result that does not leave you indifferent. Despite a somewhat slow pace and some events that are a little too disjointed, nostalgia works and we become attached again to the one who was a teenager at Blackwell. Without being revolutionary, the formula, tinged with parallel worlds and temporal powers, manages to move us. Without going all the way with its intentions, this long-awaited sequel opens a door to new adventures of the very charismatic Maxine. Can't wait for her return.- Jeuxvideo.com

By leveraging aerial multiplayer dragon-back combat, Century of Ashes dusted off the genre and proves that free-to-play can be ambitious. Visually stunning and blessed with excellent artistic direction, he is only entering the dawn of his career, but enjoying fun fashions, charismatic characters and majestic dragons. Without pushing to buy, the game is counting on its community to grow and the future looks so bright that we want to follow its course carefully.- Jeuxvideo.com

Seductive atmosphere, impeccable immersion, neat narrative, the supercharged universe of Weird West is as vast as it is generous. For twenty hours in a straight line, the immersive simulation experience provides good sensations and a coherent RPG dimension despite an AI that is still too perfectible.- Jeuxvideo.com

Total War Warhammer II: The Queen and the Crone is another good DLC smartly crafted by Creative Assembly. Both of the two new factions play very differently, which will challenge even the bravest players.- Jeuxvideo.com

Life Is Strange 2 – Episode 3 won’t keep you busy that much. But you’ll have to make many decisions and all the choices really held shaping the two antagonists. A moving and well written piece.- Jeuxvideo.com

If State of Mind is slow, it’s only because it takes the proper amount of time to unfold its world and story. Gameplay may be a bit limited but there are so many good ideas about the concepts it evokes that you can’t help but love it.- Jeuxvideo.com

By shaking up the basic rules to offer a more direct, accessible and dynamic approach, the mobile title makes it possible to address all types of players, both new and veterans who can take advantage of an innovative and refreshing with, in particular, card personalization. Beyond that, the experience is no less generous in game modes, offering both multiplayer, solo and cooperation. Despite this more accessible side, we can even blame the title for its interface that is a little too busy and its parts that tend to drag on. It remains to be seen whether Cross Duel will succeed in finding a long-term place in the Yu-Gi-Oh! mobile game offer.- Jeuxvideo.com

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties could well be a model for all remakes. Imperfect in many respects, particularly technical ones, it distinguishes itself through its commitment to enriching its narrative and gameplay experience, and its wealth of additional content. It's undeniable that SEGA and the Ryu Ga Gotoku studio rolled up their sleeves to offer players the best and most comprehensive experience possible. However, this third installment in Kazuma Kiryu's adventures fails to overcome a narrative that overshadows the gameplay and to break free from the limitations of the aging Dragon Engine.- Jeuxvideo.com

Oxenfree 2 is excellent entertainment whose magic lies mainly in its gripping writing, well-constructed characters, and absolutely brilliant sound work, voice acting and music included. If you liked the first part, no doubt you will love its sequel, which retains the same aura overall and only deepens a few aspects of its experience, capable of immersing you in its captivating universe from its first minutes.- Jeuxvideo.com

After a few hours of playing, you quickly realize that Tribes of Midgard is trying too many genres at the same time and doesn't follow through on its ideas. This RPG-inspired survival Rogue-Lite offers some great things, but too many game systems lack depth to engage players. The excessive simplicity of the combat mixed with a loot and a minimalist crafting hard to forget the redundant and unbalanced structure of the experience. There remains a sympathetic and pleasant universe to explore. Too bad it is impossible to do it at your own pace, because it is mandatory to join the camp after dark.- Jeuxvideo.com

Dead or Alive 6, with its good character roster and some nice ideas, unfortunatly fails to bring what we expect from a 2019 versus fighting game: namely, it's technicaly outdated, the TAG battle is absent from the game and it has a disappointing story mode.- Jeuxvideo.com

Rich and demanding, the clashes are gripping, worthy of frenzied chess games during which each placement must be thought out and calculated. On the other hand, the title is served by its technical shortcomings, a lack of depth in its dialogues, as well as a difficult attachment to the characters. Despite everything, Monark knows how to establish itself as an experience to live for any J-RPG lover looking for strategic brawls that oppose him with some resistance.- Jeuxvideo.com

Outriders Wordslayer is definitely the expansion that fans of Square Enix's Looter-Shooter have been waiting for. Without ever revolutionizing either the game or the genre, this DLC is extremely generous in content and offers enough new features to encourage players to return to the planet Enoch. People Can Fly refines its title in its own way and spices up a desired nervous and gratifying adventure.- Jeuxvideo.com

The unexpected arrival of a new episode of Project Zero, 15 years after its debut in Japan, in a reworked version translated into French, may delight us to the highest degree, but above all it highlights the urgency of modernizing the gameplay from the series. As it stands, this remaster is therefore only intended for fans of the franchise who have been waiting for a long time for an opportunity to discover this fourth opus.- Jeuxvideo.com

Darwin’s Paradox is a game with many strengths. Its technical execution, art direction, and overall production values are impressive—especially given the sheer ambition it displays. The concept of playing as an octopus in a cinematic-style platformer-stealth game is excellent and well-executed, following in the footsteps of the studio’s key inspirations: Limbo and Little Nightmares. What’s more, it is far more warm and inviting than its predecessors! That said, Poulpy’s quest ultimately falls short: the gameplay never really takes off and can quickly become tedious. It just goes to show that Darwin’s Paradox can sometimes work in reverse.- Jeuxvideo.com
