Action, strategy and role-playing! While being aimed at fans of the animated series, SD Gundam Battle Alliance is probably one of the best gateways to getting started in the Mobile Suit Gundam universe.

Ride 4 is more complete than its predecessor in terms of gameplay possibilities, that's a fact. It retains its qualities in the finesse of the grip, will delight fans of the first hour without totally putting off the neophytes, and adds several strings to its bow...On the other hand, Ride does not advance in its staging, tasteless on the track and in the off-circuit events, and even regresses in the career. The latter is running out of fuel in terms of originality, even showing itself to be frustrating in its construction.

Dice Legcay has a surprising concept and offers a tense and pleasant management experience, which during your first steps could put your nerves to the test. However, once the mechanics are assimilated, the progression is done in a fairly natural way, but does not manage to engage the player over time, Dice Legacy struggling to renew itself and contenting itself with offering constrained variants on the same card. , that only the most sensitive to the approach of the game will want to explore from cover to cover. There is nonetheless a game complete in its mechanics, quite original and enjoyable, which would however have gained by seeking more to renew itself.

Windjammers 2 is the logical continuation of the episode released in 1994: new characters, new mechanics and online ranked games, it comes out with all the advantages expected of such a title in 2022. in easy hand does not close the door to neophytes while the added moves constitute an additional strategic layer for amateurs of high level game. That said, it must be recognized that the title of Dotemu is sorely lacking in content and that it will hardly hook solo players in the long term.

For its part, therefore, the Nintendo Switch version offers a more timeless title thanks to the addition of an Offline mode which may no doubt appeal to younger players. The portable aspect of Nintendo's hybrid console is also a plus that shouldn't be taken lightly, especially as Plants Vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville allows for short play sessions.

It's a big yes and a very beautiful candle blown out by Kylotonn. If it does not upset the regulars, WRC 10 manages to advance all of its game modes with small nice touches, such as tire allocation management, new career roles or the livery editor. . Anniversary Mode galvanizes content and lifespan via new, delightfully old-school layouts, to make the title the most complete in the license. We take real pleasure in terms of racing sensations and a total change of scenery on some specials, despite the recurring lack of staging and some technical flaws (tearing, cliping ...). But that is not the important thing: WRC 10 ends a decade at the top of the slope masterfully climbed by Kylotonn in recent seasons, and we hope that the French studio will succeed in closing its commitment to the world rally championship in the best possible way next season.

Beautiful to fall for, fun and nervous, The Ascent is a generous twin stick shooter, which evolves in a coherent world with neat lore. If the optimization of the game as the ergonomics of the navigation or the interface remain to be reviewed and can sometimes be frustrating, the whole is sufficiently solid on its shoot part as an RPG to occupy you for long hours, solo or with friends . A great way to get back on track for the small team of Neon Giant, whose game is available as soon as it is released on the Game Pass.

Despite its weird approach, John Wick Hex shows it has well understand the character : you’re always trying to find the most optimized way to hit and kill. The game doesn’t evolve much more beyond that, though.

Dusting a bit of dust on Sonic Colors, Sonic Colors: Ultimate may not be the best of remasters, but it does the job well enough to spark interest in a perfectly acceptable episode.

If a few additions strengthen the depth of the game a little, such as scientists or territory management, others are a little more cumbersome without being unduly disturbing. If we would have liked more clear-cut news, we once again had a great time on Jurassic World Evolution 2, for a good twenty hours.

A very, very traditional musô ... but nevertheless successful. Admittedly, its cel-shadding remains an obvious make-up for a dated technique, but it also causes a reinforced Japanese atmosphere and some appreciable graphic effects; Likewise, the repetitiveness of its missions is an obvious black point but is compensated by a diversity of characters and interesting gameplay, and this despite the criticized reduction of its cast.

This Episode 4 is probably the most hard-hitting episod from Life Is Strange 2. A black, dark world is now shiwing in plain sight right before Sean’s eyes and now we’re expecting a very strong finish. Great story-telling.

Never surprising, LEGO The Incredibles is repetitive and the building mechanics are now dusty, to say the least. But there are 8 playable characters and they are all very different, making it a fun game especially in co-op.

Although it is a nice homage to the first adventures of the hedgehog, Sonic Origins could have deserved a better finish. Overall, this compilation is correct, but the options offered are not enough to make up for certain shortcomings. Despite a really successful dressing with its cartoons and colorful interface, SEGA's game constantly oscillates between good and bad. We're having a good time, but for Sonic's 30th anniversary, we were right to expect more games and surprises. Especially at a price of forty euros.

This next-gen edition of FIFA 21 does not have any big surprises in store for its status as a Smart Delivery title. We can of course be delighted with a much finer graphic aspect than its One / PS4 inclination and loading times now non-existent, but all the other “new features” are basically anecdotal. We are now crossing our fingers that FIFA 22 relies on this visual overhaul and disrupts its content for a real transitional episode.

Rebellion has absorbed its influences well to design a masterful post-apocalyptic adventure in broad strokes. While this survival FPS doesn't revolutionize the genre, it does things seriously. Its main strength lies in its organic approach to missions and its desire to reward exploration. Unfortunately, the survival and combat aspects, which suffer from flawed AI, lag behind the genre's leading lights. Atomfall isn't perfect, far from it, but it's definitely worth a look... especially if you're a fan of this type of offering.

While it sometimes feels its age in terms of gameplay, Famicom Detective Club is nonetheless an excellent Visual Novel. The two proposed surveys are pleasant to follow while the visual rendering impresses. Its sublime artistic direction, mixing the new and the old, is practically worth the detour on its own. And too bad if the whole thing sometimes lacks interactivity, because the essential is there. We take pleasure in following these budding detectives in their discoveries. Too bad these very successful remakes do not benefit from a French translation despite their prohibitive price.

NBA 2K20 doesn’t go over the edge, it doesn’t bring much novelty to the series. On the other hand, it has better defense and goes a little further as a simulation. But the micro-transactions are too strong with this one.
