The result is a rather confused adventure, where the player is easily lost between two puzzles. The whole thing is not helped by a script and an uninteresting universe. However, some good game design ideas, like the possibility of entering inside certain mechanisms, hit the mark. And the diversity of the puzzles is to be welcomed. A Dark Matter is thus a pleasant title despite its flaws. But far from being a must in VR.- Jeuxvideo.com

While Farming Simulator 22 will undoubtedly appeal to fans of the series, newcomers may feel overwhelmed by the possibilities. However, it would be a shame to miss this episode since it corrects most of the faults of the previous part. Vehicle modeling is always more precise and the arrival of the seasons or even production lines is a real plus. Now it's up to you to see if you are ready to immerse yourself in this experience, which is as complete as it is difficult to master.- Jeuxvideo.com

With Sand Land, the late Akira Toriyama lays the last stone of a prestigious building. Enriched with new storylines, this video game adaptation is the ideal extension of the manga and anime. On a playful level, the adventure is far from perfect, but the scenario and the events are faithful to the original work and the progression offers several notable moments. With its ultra-endearing characters and its universe, this production has enough assets to satisfy fans of (semi) open world games. If the idea of playing an action-RPG in a Mad Max-style universe interests you, this title may satisfy you.- Jeuxvideo.com

Of course, it’s a good thing that Heavy Rain is now available on PC. Many people will be able to play it for the first time and the game is still very beautiful, visuals-wise. But the mouse/keyboard controls are sluggish.- Jeuxvideo.com

If you are willing to accept technical shortcomings, mainly in certain menus and at ground level, as well as a clearly impoverished aesthetic on Nintendo Switch, you will have, with Jurassic World Evolution - Complete Edition, a solid edition, with intuitive handling. and more than solid lifespan. While docked mode is to be avoided, nomadic mode offers better performance, not always stunning, but stable enough not to spoil the experience.- Jeuxvideo.com

Even if we feel that the Moonscars formula is not at its full potential, the Black Mermaid studio delivers here a solid and often quite ingenious action-RPG. Between mixing genres with a touch of rogue-lite; two-speed difficulty; good sensations in combat and beautiful artistic direction, there is really something going on, controller in hand. It is finally two or three inaccuracies, in terms of balancing and finishing, which pull Moonscars down. Regardless, it's always a pleasure to restart a game. A good pickaxe for fans of demanding action games.- Jeuxvideo.com

If you're a fan of Rome Total War and still play it, this remastered version will probably enchant you with its more modern controls, HD, workshop compatibility, 16 factions unlocked, and a healthy dose of nostalgia to top it off. all. In that, this remake is rather successful, especially as the formula is generally still effective. On the other hand, we must admit that certain elements show the weight of the years and in particular AI. The new interface is also not very intuitive and the graphics remain below those of Total War: Rome 2. Finally, if you do not have a particular aversion for the latter, it is rather advisable to turn to it because it is more complete on almost all points.- Jeuxvideo.com

Visions of Mana is a real success that places it among the best episodes of the series, close to the top. Rare are the games that give us so much freedom in the formation of our team with varied jobs that multiply the possibilities. Very easy to take at the same time, it does not forget to be also magnificent to look at with an exceptional artistic direction. It may not have the aura of Secret of Mana in its time, but it sets the bar very high and automatically establishes itself as THE JRPG of the moment, without any possible doubt. As much for fans of the great era as for newcomers, Visions of Mana is a very good experience that we highly recommend.- Jeuxvideo.com

Voice of Cards is undeniably fun to follow, especially thanks to its frankly successful “board game” aesthetic. However, he fails to fully engage the player in his adventure, the fault of overly simplistic and intrusive fights. This leaves a very nice game, often funny and enjoyable to play, but unfortunately punctuated by moments of trouble.- Jeuxvideo.com

Thanks to its upgrade, Cyberpunk 2077 finally offers a gaming experience on PS5 and Xbox Series at the height of what it should have been at its launch in December 2020. More beautiful, more stable and better optimized than in backward compatibility : those who had waited for the next-gen patch will finally be able to enjoy the adventure in good conditions. But beyond these technical considerations, if patch 1.5 brings some welcome adjustments (more responsive crowd, improved but still perfectible driving and ergonomics...), the title remains globally identical to the PC version despite a less impressive visual rendering. More than a year after its release, Cyberpunk 2077 remains an RPG with a fascinating universe and impeccable writing that remains plagued by immersion-breaking bugs and an artificial intelligence that falls short. Now that CD Projekt has finally honored its promises, we can't wait to see what the Polish studio has in store for the future of its futuristic open-world with new DLCs.- Jeuxvideo.com

Ministry of Broadcast is a good old-fashioned platformer that deserves to be known. Between the engaging atmosphere and entertaining gameplay phases, it's hard to have a bad time. It is with a smirk that we start Ministry of Broadcast and with questions in our heads that we end this short but intense experience with a worked atmosphere and strong messages. Between mocking humor, sarcasm, morbidity and questioning, but also race, difficulty and puzzle, Ministry of Broadcast has found a perfect balance, with the happy medium as a guideline. But to revolve too much around the just good, the game never excels and imposes itself as a pleasant experience, but without great scope. A game that is worth lingering over, but that lacks a little nothing to become memorable.- Jeuxvideo.com

Of the good twenty hours Chernobylite will take you to lower the curtain, you will no doubt be absorbed by the thick atmosphere of the game, by the stories of its characters as well as that of yours, and will enjoy managing your base to offer food and shelter to your brothers and sisters in arms. If we regret a fairly limited amount of different environments, a confused combat part and an AI clearly not up to the task, this melancholy escapade in the heart of the exclusion zone is a good surprise, quite targeted concerning the public that it is aimed (FPS aficionados from the East, you are welcome), but oh so immersive and intriguing.- Jeuxvideo.com

Axiom Verge 2 impresses with its level design. Its complex structure supported by two parallel worlds accessible at all times will offer a major challenge to aficionados of metroidvania. Too bad that gameplay inaccuracies spoil the party and cause frustrating situations. Without this, this second episode could easily have risen to the level of its predecessor.- Jeuxvideo.com

Compared to the first titles released since 2018, MES is more accessible, free, fast and clear in the composition of its game modes in addition to deepening its formula in the Solo career or the circuit editor. On the other hand, Milestone failed to make a leap forward from a graphical point of view, on the behavior of the AI, animations and collisions. Monster Energy Supercross isn't taking full advantage of the latest console generation just yet, and it's still going to take a while to feel a real sense of progression in the series.- Jeuxvideo.com

A very, very traditional musô ... but nevertheless successful. Admittedly, its cel-shadding remains an obvious make-up for a dated technique, but it also causes a reinforced Japanese atmosphere and some appreciable graphic effects; Likewise, the repetitiveness of its missions is an obvious black point but is compensated by a diversity of characters and interesting gameplay, and this despite the criticized reduction of its cast.- Jeuxvideo.com

Ten after its initial release, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is still a really good game, and the few improvements Stellar Entertainment has brought to refresh it a bit. Nervous, easy to learn and rather dense thanks to the addition of DLC, the title fits without much difficulty in a market where purely arcade racing games are rare, despite an aging general structure.- Jeuxvideo.com

F1 24 suffers from the syndrome of many annualized sports licenses. The Codemasters developers took a risky gamble by modifying the gameplay of the previous edition which had, in our opinion, found an interesting balance between simulation and arcade. Accessible to everyone and rich in content, F1 24 is a convincing automotive title, but which does not bring major changes except for driving which will not suit everyone. From there, it will really depend on everyone's interest in this franchise, but the need for renewal is becoming glaring.- Jeuxvideo.com

We weren't expecting it, and maybe it's a big spark that lights up in the world of motorcycle simulations. It is indeed a very good strategy game, rich, complete and immersive but it clearly does not have the aura of its ancestors due to a main campaign that does not hold in suspense, a gameplay who suffers from pathfinding concerns and a somewhat aging AI.- Jeuxvideo.com

Dontnod announced to us with Tell Me Why a realistic production devoid of minimalist stereotypes. Promise kept. For almost eight hours, it tells a harsh story, strong in its words, its authentic characters, and its thoughtful dialogues. These are the main strengths of the game. But the player's involvement is too little in this title, which nevertheless outlined attractive possibilities, often under-exploited. His participation will be limited mainly to emotional choices, often giving the impression of being passive in the face of the action. We will remember a benevolent story, whose rhythm and lack of freedom sometimes push us to drop out.- Jeuxvideo.com

Unfortunately, No More Heroes 3 misses the mark. This episode is sorely lacking in ambition and does less well than its predecessors released ten years ago. Too bad, because his combat system has taken off in the meantime. But its dated structure, its dubious artistic direction, its unspecified bosses and its writing frankly not at the level of the license come to spoil the party. This leaves a boring action game that does a lot to make it look cool, but never quite gets there.- Jeuxvideo.com
