Apr 24, 2024Sand Land is not just another adventure, it's a thrilling journey through the creative landscapes of Toriyama's imagination. It's an oasis of content ready to be explored form one grain of sand to the next. With Beelzebub leading the charge, this game promises a haven of juicy content and vibrant character development amidst the dry, vacant desert setting. All I want to say is that fans should eagerly anticipate the release, it's clear that Toriyama's legacy continues to captivate audiences that will draw you into worlds where even deserts are brimming with life. So, grab your favorite juice and prepare for an RPG experience that'll leave you parched for more!

Apr 24, 2024Whether you dig Sand Land’s vibes and want to go full Mad Max with its combat or experience one of Akira Toriyama’s classic stories told in a fresh package, Bandai Namco and ILCA sold me on this world and its characters, and if you give it a try, you might just get sucked in like quicksand.

May 28, 2024Despite its shortcomings in terms of repetition and difficulty, SAND LAND is a very enjoyable experience that’s perfect for the casual gamer, even if you’ve never heard of the manga before.

Apr 24, 2024SAND LAND is definitely a good open world game, but not a game that exactly lives up to Akira Toriyama's legacy. It is unfortunate that SAND LAND's release and Toriyama's death ended up so close to each other, but it makes you feel like they could have done more with a title that finds its strengths in how close it follows the manga and how nice the fights on vehicles feel.

Apr 25, 2024Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a good role-playing game that perhaps searches for its style a little more than it has already found it. Anyone who has the necessary patience and can powergame in third instead of sixth gear will spend many happy hours here.

Apr 25, 2024With Sand Land, the late Akira Toriyama lays the last stone of a prestigious building. Enriched with new storylines, this video game adaptation is the ideal extension of the manga and anime. On a playful level, the adventure is far from perfect, but the scenario and the events are faithful to the original work and the progression offers several notable moments. With its ultra-endearing characters and its universe, this production has enough assets to satisfy fans of (semi) open world games. If the idea of playing an action-RPG in a Mad Max-style universe interests you, this title may satisfy you.

May 5, 2024While Sand Land offers an entertaining universe and characters true to Akira Toriyama's original work, the new content falls short. The game features interesting ideas like vehicle customization but suffers from underdeveloped mechanics, monotonous travel, and simple combat, ultimately making the gameplay experience feel disjointed and less engaging than reading the original story.
