Sep 27, 2018I am still hooked into what this game has to offer and the twists and turns in this particular episode are absolutely brilliant. The concept and the world it has created is indeed both clever and epic in their scope and ingenuity; there has been a great mix of real-world history, religious texts, and a truly imagined world all blended in a very clever way.

Sep 25, 2018Burning Bridges is The Council's next-to-last episode. It brings us interesting gameplay changes, as Louis' new skills, which open a whole new paths. Even if technically Burning Bridges has some problems, Big Bad Wolf manages to offer us a really interesting and surprising chapter. Burning Bridges is the precursor of The Council's anticipated ending.

Sep 25, 2018This fourth episode, out of five, of The Concil, is not as great as the previous stories, due mainly to technical issues. While some sequences are quite good and show consequences in our choices, we're still waiting for the big reveal.

Jul 22, 2019While a few bugs are more prominent in Episode 4, hopefully Big Bad Wolf get the final episode just right. Just make sure to have two play-throughs to experience all the twists and turns, as one is totally missable. The Council has been an absolute treat up to this point, and the penultimate episode's new revelations takes the final part to a whole new playing field.

Sep 25, 2018Burning Bridges feels like a turning point that episodes two and three have been building up to. It introduces welcome plot twists and revisits interesting topics that have been mostly at the wayside since episode one. But I fear it’s too little too late.
-
Sep 27, 2018It feels like Big Bad Wolf was in need of some shortcuts to get things to where they need to be for the finale, and there's enough reason to get through this episode and see the series through to its finale, but that still doesn't make Burning Bridges anything better than the low point of an otherwise strong and commendable adventure game.
