Based on the know-how of Dead Space's Sledgehammer Games, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is simply the best game of the IP thanks to a 4-star cast, and well scenarised solo. Add to the mix the best multiplayer we've seen in a long time, with a Modern Warfare 3 inspired co-op and a nervous versus, and you've got the best Call of Duty game we've seen in years.- JeuxActu

Samurai Warriors 4 takes a little advantage of its port on PS4. It's still kind of old-school, but the game is at last better on a technical point of view. We're still waiting for the episode that will rebuilt from ground zero.- JeuxActu

The Legend of Korra fails to fulfill its potential. With a little more money and time, it could have been a good surprise; as it is, we can barely advise it to the fans.- JeuxActu

Bayonetta Wii U is simply the very best version of PlatimunGames's beat'em all thanks to it's concrete-stable 60 FPS frame-rate. A must-have when you know the speed of the game. Top all that with some Nintendo character love, and you got the ultimate.- JeuxActu

Disney Magical World is a pretty average game due to a quite limited content in spite of a very wide Disney universe. Meant to be played by the youngest of gamers, it is very easy to handle but the low grade graphics won't impress the youth.- JeuxActu

Sunset Overdrive is a very nervous game with colorful graphics, which offers a mix between Jet Set radio and Crackdown. In spite of very repetitive sequences, the length of the game makes it quite a good investment.- JeuxActu

Flockers is a simple clone of the old Lemmings, and it brings absolutely nothing new to the classic DMA Design's recipe. No need to invest in such a basic duplicate.- JeuxActu

Civilization: Beyond Earth is a rightful heir to the IP, with everything in it to make it a great Civ Game with the added touch of an SF context. Don't expect to have found the legacy of Alpha Centauri because this is not it.- JeuxActu

F1 2014 is a real disappointment, as it changes absolutely nothing from the previous episode and even takes off the Classic mode. You'll feel betrayed, probably.- JeuxActu

Even though the game is technically perfectible, the fact that Bayonetta 2 is the best beat'em up game currently on sale shouldn't give you any doubts on weather to buy it or not. True question is this: is it worth buying a Wii U just for this game? Oh yeah it is.- JeuxActu

With an economic model which is not very user friendly to the point that we suspect the game was designed with micro-transactions in mind, Project Spark won't be saved by its bugged content or its complicated UI.- JeuxActu

Shadow of Mordor is a good surprise for many reasons. We were not expecting anything from another Lord of the Rings game, but this one is a very good action packed open world RPG.- JeuxActu

If Borderlands: the pre Sequel were a DLC that does not bear its name, it still is a very pleasant game with new features like low gravity, oxygen to look after, jetpacks and freeze guns. Add a crazy and very funny playable Clap-Trap and you've got quite a nice game.- JeuxActu

This new version of Sleeping Dogs can't compete with its Square Enix mate: Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. The game's graphics have undoubtedly been improved but sadly not enough. It still can't compete with the PC version, which makes it useless for all the gamers who already played the game. If you never experienced this nice GTA-like, Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is the way to go.- JeuxActu

We thought NBA 2K14 had hit the limits of what a basketball game can be, that nobody could do better, but the new brew manages to do even better. NBA 2K15 improves the gameplay even more for an impressive result, and only the loading times and the facial scan feature might disappoint you.- JeuxActu

Skylanders Trap Team is by far the most completed game in the series, thanks to the bad guys of Skylands, which weren't expected in this party. They make the gameplay deeper and the fun they bring allows you to forget the linearity of the journey, still in place. Sparkling graphics, hours of play and hundreds of treasures: Skylanders Trap Team has all that is needed to be a new success.- JeuxActu

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is very close to Dear Esther, to Twin Peaks in the atmosphere, but it offers real gameplay, something fresh and new for this style of game. The first-person view and the freedom given to the player assist relatively simple but always rewarding puzzles. Above all, we can only assess the very high quality of the graphics and the talented artistic direction. OK, it's not very long to play, but it's not very expensive either, so there's no reason to ignore it.- JeuxActu

We could almost declare that Wasteland 2 is the real Fallout 3. Anyway, it's an incredible RPG we've got here, completely able to attract the old and the new generation of players. The former ones will enjoy something they've known and loved, the others will discover the depth of a role game handmade with passion.- JeuxActu

The only actual problems with Styx come from the fact that it's not a big budget game. Sometimes, we can clearly feel it. But fortunately, the price tag balanced this little glitch and we can honestly say that the quality of the game is not questionable. Open world and very straightforward at the same time, Styx urges us to try different ways, to play the missions several times to discover all of its secrets.- JeuxActu

Going open-world is now a fashion rule for all the racing games, and DriveClub is kind of a rebel from this point of view. But offering only closed tracks is absolutely not a problem here, as the game distinguishes itself with its thrilling sensation of pace. It's true that we'd have appreciated more subtlety in the driving and less rubbish in the collisions but DriveClub is at least accessible to everyone. Visually well-shaped, Evolution Studios' game is lacking a good AI and this little bit of craziness... Fortunately, the players can count on the included online functions to compensate.- JeuxActu

Alien Isolation is the best game adapted from the Ridley Scott masterpiece so far. The Creative Assembly have chosen the right way to use this IP in making it a tremendous survival, with both great artistic direction and atmosphere. The game takes the gamble to transform the player from hunter to prey, but it pays off as this setting gives birth to fear and stress. Exactly what you need to enjoy the terrific AI of the Alien which will be a real challenge for every experienced gamer.- JeuxActu

We were hoping for some really big new things in this new DanganRonpa after the disaster of the former episode. Nope. The game mechanics haven't changed a bit. The story and the deliberation phases are quite interesting but it's still the sleep-inducing game we've known since last year.- JeuxActu

To be honest, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is an updated version of the previous episode. But let's be fair, it's a huge update: from 70 to 221 tracks, a new way to play the game only with stick and buttons, Versus and online modes, and a Medley Quests which makes the progression better and more structured. Too bad we have to pay full price for it, even more with the DLC's incoming.- JeuxActu

Without changing deeply, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishment has reached a new level thanks to the Unreal Engine 3. 19th century London's atmosphere is perfectly rendered. Frogwares tries to push its concept further by giving more freedom to the player. He can now call someone guilty, without even any proof, which makes him more responsible. The mini-games are still very fun, even though some of them are quite imprecise, but overall this new Sherlock should satisfy the fans and maybe newcomers.- JeuxActu

With Super Smash. Bros 3DS, Nintendo gives a finger to all people who forgot what genius was required to make all those pretty IP's work together. We're not dealing with a Street Fighter or a KOF episode, and then, this new Smash Bros. gameplay is deeper than deep. More than that: it's beautiful and smooth, even online. The left stick is fragile and we can only regret the fact that you'll probably need an XL to fully enjoy the game, but this new entry is a true gem.- JeuxActu

We thought Disney would address some of the problems Disney Infinity had. Unfortunately, that's not exactly the case and it's logical with only a few months of development. Adventure packs remain the same, the game's still disappointing visually and the gameplay is far too uneven. Nevertheless, you'll enjoy playing those super heroes, above all, with their interesting capacities.- JeuxActu

Forza Horizon 2 is a total success, from a technical point of a view and from a content point a view. Playground Games has been aware of the demands of their fans and fixed what needed to be. Purists will enjoy all the parameters which were lacking in 2012. But the main quality of this episode is this open world offering of wonderful landscapes.- JeuxActu

FIFA 15 is the best football simulation to date. But it's not the revolution we've been waiting for, the one which will make us enter a new era. This new entry pushes the realism a little further but the gap with the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions is far too tiny to talk about a renewal. The FIFA series is moving forward, but it's going slowly. Slower and slower. We hope for something big soon, but isn't it a little bit utopian?- JeuxActu
