A game that you can see every experimental feature shown in spin-offs after 8th gen. While neat story and adventure with Pokémon in Paldea region are fun as always, too much lag and bugs are beyond inconvenience. Sometimes they actually keep players away from all the joy.

Fighting game legend Daisuke Ishiwatari has made his debut in the top-down shooter adventure genre. While clunky enemy AI, hitbox issues, and lackluster sound are disappointing, the game successfully blends top-down shooting with the deep exploration of classic JRPGs and the fun of platformer adventures. I look forward to seeing further improvements through the announced update roadmap.

A gift from Akira Toriyama, bringing back childhood memories. The original story depicting events after the original work is pretty enjoyable to watch. However, the overall monotonous core gameplay is somewhat disappointing.

Trek to Yomi's excellent visual quality and sound production are enough for you to recall classic black-and-white films. But maybe they put too much effort into the visual side. Gameplay itself feels so plain and simple. The fast-paced combats are interesting in itself but barely changes. And the collectables are not attractive enough.

It could have ended up with a boring, old-fashioned 3D platformer. However, the features for SpongeBob fans somehow turned the game's outdated style to feel like an old-school. If you can indulge in the series' humor and SpongeBob's new look, you will find some classical fun with this game.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is the best game to start a new Eiyden Chronicle series. The game contains battle through link action, smooth sound, harmonious 2D+3D graphic design and a well-balanced story. You can hardly suggest that all of these are perfect, but the game has enough quality to enjoy without any concerns.

An action-packed, cross platform open world RPG. It excels with its fast, exhilarating action and attractive graphics, despite a weak storyline and unbalanced sound issues. The key to its future success lies in how well the character development and story are further refined.

In game design wise, 'Fobia' is a great homage to the classic Survival Horrors such as Resident Evil. While the action part against the monster is rather sloppy, the hotel's level design and terrifying atmosphere are quite impressive.

A hardcore 3D platformer where countless deaths and failures serve as the foundation for a single, perfect run. The transition to a 3D environment brings Z-axis depth and camera issues that occasionally cause unfair falls, leaving some room for improvement. However, the series' signature ultra-responsive controls and exquisite level design miraculously turn the pain of failure into a clear sense of accomplishment, delivering a brilliantly punishing challenge.

It is an attractive game with a unique narrative that unfolds in the smudgy, Lo-Fi Style and sloppy but tight gameplay. However, options that are not accessible enough compared to the previous game and dizzy structure that some clues are meaningless make the game feels more empty than ever.

'Yurukill: The Calumniation Games' is an ensemble cast that handles the conflict between characters with interesting materials. While the intense story and reasonable shooting parts, great quality of voice-overs are standing out, its repetitive scenes and insufficient pacing on story, rather easy gameplay makes the game remained as a regret.

A strategy game based on Paul Verhoeven's 1997 film. The fundamental element of dealing with countless alien bugs is well displayed, as well as the 19 chapters long single play campaigns are satisfying, whereas everything else is lacking. No multiplayer and unable to play other factions makes you don't have to play it again.

This game, which aspires to be a new classic SRPG, stands out with visuals and strategic gameplay that capture the essence of 90s SRPGs. However, the focus on nostalgic elements results in a cumbersome UI/UX, which is unfortunate.

Claws of Awaji is a compelling DLC that introduces fresh gameplay mechanics and new weapons absent from the base game. However, the dual-protagonist narrative once again falls short, and the fact that it feels essential to buy for story completion may divide players.

Although there is a room for arguments, Scorn's art design seems properly portrayed the original intention of the game. It is also fun to digest the ending as the way you think. However, intuition-dependent puzzles and insufficient combats can make players easily quit the game before ending. The combination of checkpoints and dysfunctional combat is the scariest part of it.

It is a beat'em up game that you can enjoy even if you don't know much about Three Kingdoms or River City series. The game shows great action scenes compared to its simple controls, so anyone can easily grab the controller and have some fun. Also, you can enjoy the process of becoming stronger by collecting various skills.

A heartwarming adventure where you can fully enjoy Anya's cuteness. The concept of a picture diary, packed with the diverse elements of the original, is enough to keep a smile on the faces of [Spy x Family] fans for a while. If you're not a fan, you might not find much reason to play this game.

Digimon Survive delivers a much heavier vibe compared to existing series, expressing the agony and overcoming stories of ordinary children, not heroes. Although it is a quality title as a visual novel, the tactics battle part is very ordinary and the visual effect is also a bit bland.

A game suitable for those who loves Sci-Fi creatures. It delivers the concept of facing various life forms during an adventure throughout an unknown planet quite well. A shooting action which requires puzzle-solving brain work is also quite interesting. However, you need to endure the unnatural modeling, stiff animation and unreasonable level designs before all these charms.

Thymesia will be a good choice if you are looking for a souls-like game with an interesting combat system. The game tries to differentiate itself with unique combat, which is nearly impossible to take a rest for a moment. And the execution system also feels great in your hands. Except for battles, however, You are going to need patience for its lack of stories and the overall volumes.

In 'High on Life', 90% hilarious joke in the entire game is barely but surprisingly well held up by the 10% gameplay. It may be a good choice for the weekend if you are a fan of Justin Roiland. But the lack of localization in certain languages has somewhat demerits the charm of Xbox Game Pass in terms of accessibility.

The atmospheric pixel based visuals with dark fantasy vibe are pleasing to the eyes. And the challenging boss battle represents the unique tension of Souls-like. However, the balance of weapon upgrade system and the overall tension of the game collapse simultaneously after the second half of the game.

Showing a different approach from the existing action games, Serial Cleaners is a fun game filled with artistic visuals seem to be inspired by postmodernism and street art. However, the slow tempo compared to previous work and dumb Police AI are reducing the tension of 'infiltration'. Also, can't expect the replayability due to the lack of challenge mode.

Mecha BREAK is a game that has emerged like a beacon of hope for fans at a time when new releases in this genre are rare. It's a relatively low-stress PvP shooter that can be enjoyed casually, but there are still many aspects outside of the gameplay that need refinement.

It is certain that the game creates an eye-catching mood by infusing 18th-century French Revolution and Automata into Souls-like gameplay. The game well supplemented its organized action and growth gimmicks for those who are not well aware of Souls-like games. However, you will eventually notice that the game is far from perfection when there are frequent frame drops, bugs and some loopholes that are hard to see in other Souls-like games.

The game offers enough fan service to satisfy the original fans, making it worth the money. The visual quality is excellent, and the story is decent. However, the downside is that the game lacks content for a party game. While the quality of each mini-game is not bad, the repetitive nature makes it easy to get bored after a while.

A sequel that unravels the series' story with increased characters on the new planet. A fighting game spin-off that basically turned into a full-on dating sim with cute girls. The graphics and presentation really capture the whole dating vibe, and the game's well-designed so you can easily follow the route you want. It's just a bit of a shame that the photo-focused, static setup doesn’t quite show off how lively the character models could be.

AAA-class sci-fi horror game that's appeared after a long while. The lingering story created among people who have turned into bizarre monsters is the attractive element of the game. The battle balance and level design are somewhat disappointing, but it is still a fun enough game.
