Crimson Desert unfolds in a vast open world filled with an enormous amount of content, but there are simply too many gameplay elements scattered without order, clashing with one another. There is room for improvement, but as it stands now, it falls somewhat short of being a truly great game.

In the positive side, Time on Frog Island is a very easy and relaxing game. However, it also can be mean that it has shallow game play. The game surely has a wonderful, deep background scenery, but it feels like they didn't make a good use of all of it.

With its well-established lore, solid narrative, and highly polished world, Avowed is a fantastic game that lives up to Obsidian Entertainment’s reputation. However, compared to other games in the genre, its world feels overly rigid and lacks the sense of being truly alive, which keeps it from standing among the very best.

This game adheres to the 'easy to learn, hard to master' formula, showcasing systematic and simple action. While it creates a new style for anime games by utilizing various media formats in its narrative, the key challenge seems to be overcoming the standardized content, intermittent growth curve, and narrative hurdles.

A classic game platform designed faithfully to give you the nostalgia that you have at the arcade 20 to 30 years ago. Its approach to create a new experience rather than just a gaming platform was great, however the price of individual games feels too expensive comparing to those days. Also, it is sad that the platform doesn't support multiplayer.

The Romance of the Three Kingdoms series has been beloved for nearly 40 years, but it has now reached a point where a groundbreaking transformation is needed to attract more gamers. A remake of the 8th installment would be a suitable first step towards this transformation, creating a game that is both easier to play and more immersive.

The franchise's next installment arrives at a crucial point where it needs to pave a new path after the myth-based trilogy. While it successfully combines various systems from its predecessors, somehow the game seems remained at an ordinary level as its lack of new, interesting experiences.

Sixteen years after the release of its predecessor, the new World of Goo 2 remains remarkably creative. With a solid foundation, the game has successfully introduced intricate new mechanics. However, As the final title that uses the name of FIFA, the game seems like a stepping stone, preparing for the next bright future. By the way, training center for those who are not used to this genre was quite impressive.

A refined Team Ninja's action met an open-world experience. While the story unfolds like a grand drama of Japanese history, the limited impact of player choices is a drawback. The inclusion of sensitive real-life figures and the system for building rapport with them may justify the cancellation of the official release in Korea.

The protagonist-centered narrative and wide array of character crossovers give Super Robot Wars a stronger sense of identity, elevating its trademark storytelling to new heights. The difficulty has been fine-tuned, moving away from luck-based swings and instead rewarding players who approach each battle with careful strategy. Animation work shows clear improvements, though the uneven quality across different units still keeps the presentation from feeling fully polished. Meanwhile, quality-of-life features lag behind, leaving room for future updates to better match modern standards.

The game offers a variety of customization options for beginners, and is available on multiple platforms. And this vague story makes it easier for players to resonate their own experience. However, the game can leave much to be desired for those who would like to enjoy a completed story.

A traditional SRPG which strategy and tactics are its key. It seems like the game deliberately chose the serious, heavy vibe over flashy visual. The game's graphic based on reality is surely a different, charming point among other anime-style SRPGs out there. However, that kind of seriousness can make someone to feel the game is too heavy, difficult to immerse in most characters or the story itself is too monotonous.

Returning as a reboot after nine years, 'Lord of the Fallen' successfully carves its unique niche on the solid foundation that is familiar for those fans of Souls-like genre. Some elements, such as unseparated multiplayer even after death are even better! However the lackluster impact of combat and rather frequent system clashes left a big room for improvement. Luckily, the developer is eager to make the game better with patches before release so, we'll see.
