Dead by Daylight falls short in some respects but, for a massive horror fan, it’s easy to overlook the game’s flaws when the core experience itself is so fun and engaging.

Shadow of the Orient is a 2D action-platformer with tight gameplay, stunning visuals, and brutal yet rewarding combat. A solid adventure spread across 3 acts with plenty of secrets to find, gear to unlock, and abilities to use, makes Shadow of the Orient both a great quick "pick up and play" type of game as well as a game that's fun to master.

With around 40 mini-games included Raving Rabbids: Alive & Kicking, the biggest highlight of this game is how well some of these games work, especially with the Kinect controller which has copped some flack over the last year.

If you fancy a rumble that's not in a jungle, then this latest Super Monkey Ball offering will make you go bananas. There plenty on offer here that'll please returning fans and newcomers alike, with outstanding accessibility options, a lovely smorgasbord of levels spread across diverse and vibrant worlds.

Ten Dates is a charming exploration of human connection that is both strengthened and held back by mostly being an interactive movie.

In terms of would I recommend the game… that’s not easy to answer. Given the length of “play time”I would certainly start by suggesting waiting for a sale. If you are after a lot of interaction then I’d say avoid it. If you quite like choose your own adventures or indie theatre performances then this might just be up your alley. If you feel non binary or just overwhelmed at what life has in store for you while studying or after completing study… this might be the familiar voice you want to hear. It’s far more an experience than a game so if that’s your thing then give it a try, if not then look elsewhere.

The Pokémon series makes a return to the Hoenn region that’s well worth a revisit.

If you’re looking for a unique take on the shooter genre or just want to pretend you’re an inter-dimensional John Wayne for a few hours, then Cold Iron is an easy recommend and offers up far more variety than its simple premise would initially lead you to believe.

A decent game that may or may entertain (equal parts chance enjoy or annoy). If you like a challenge and the sort of games Team 17 release then this may well be up your alley, it’s not super expensive so it’s a decent option if you want a bit of putting fun.

Some curious design decisions dampen the whole affair and the game suffers as a result.

At its heart, Ride is basically a motorcycle racing simulation but with a touch of arcade fun to assist with the overall enjoyment factor.

Need for Speed Rivals is a fun game, however the open-world racing genre still needs to be refined, especially with the limit of 6-players. Nonetheless, the gameplay is sturdy, graphics detailed but the multiplayer definitely needs some work.

An ambitious action RPG with a unique two-world gameplay system and fun combat let down by a quagmire of ongoing technical issues.

Replayability is primarily to be found in the exploration of the star system laid out for your quest but I can imagine this would only stay entertaining for a while and only true completionists are likely to keep playing over and over again to uncover all they can.

In the end, The Shoot is actually one of the better PlayStation Move titles but unfortunately it's plagued by a very short completion time.

While not perfect, Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One provided an incredibly entertaining and challenging experience that detective fans, especially Sherlock Holmes fans, will be happy to experience.

Cattle Country is a farming sim that presents a rare sense of adventure in the genre. Part cosy farming sim, part survivalist fairytale, part baby’s first Red Dead. It’s a delightful romp that fans of Stardew and Story of Seasons looking for a new twist on the well-worn genre should wrangle as soon as they can.

Overall, besides the fun powers and intriguing world-building, I have to admit that Outriders isn’t anything special to me as it doesn’t do much to differentiate itself from other titans of the looter shooter genre. However, if you like sick powers and loot, then Outriders was made for you.

Wulverblade surprises in just how much fun it is. The best thing is you do not have to spend a bunch of quarters every time you play.

With the PS3 version being far superior, the Vita version is only for those who do not own their home console brother as on the Vita it's fun but not great due to the frustration factor.

With decent graphics, great sound effects, albeit a sometimes annoying commentator, overall it's a fun title.

It's a simple casual game with no real plots to be had other than the fantasy of being discovered. Star power of the Awesome Chris Evans makes it very personable and fun experience.

I do recommend this game to those that simply love the traditional role-playing story. I also suggest it as a good starter game for those who have just been introduced to the genre and aren’t quite ready for the over elaborate UI systems that most RPGs tend to have.

Out of the box, with some of the bugs hindering some player experience, Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising needs a bit more TLC from the developers, till then we are in a hurry up and wait situation.

Even though the game is excruciating frustrating and difficult at times, when linked with other players, the game really shines, especially if you have a full assorted of gamers to play.

The game does attempt to merge a variety of different gaming genres together which some work and some don't. More particularly, some of the mini-games which were a little lacklustre.
