Rise of Nightmares is a fun game that harkens back to the House of the Dead series and with the controllerless capabilities, it definitely takes this genre to a new level. This makes it a much more immersive experience. In terms of originality, the gameplay is not the most original content of the year but as a Kinect title, it works quite well.- Impulsegamer

Overall A Vampyre Story is a decent game. Some may find it slow paced, some may not see the humour in the conversations, but as a call back to classic adventure games there is little else available.- Impulsegamer

In conclusion, if you’re a fan of the series, than you’re in Yu-Gi-Oh heaven which does successfully transfer the card game to the virtual world. Although the graphics are a little lacking, the gameplay with real players more than makes up for this inconsistency.- Impulsegamer

The latest incarnation of Tetris is a mixed bag but for some reason, I just wanted to play and play. It's quite addictive and the new One-Touch and Galaxy modes are very good. It's a shame that EA have put currency in the forefront of this game because there are just too many costs associated with this title.- Impulsegamer

For now, DC Universe is a little rough around the edges and hopefully the developers will release additional areas in the upcoming months but for now, my experience was a little less than satisfying.- Impulsegamer

In the end, Puffle Launch may not be the most original iOS game available and sticks to a tried and tested formula. It's definitely one for the kids or if its on sale, go grab it as it's addictive and fast-paced!- Impulsegamer

There are some good ideas here and some very nice visuals… but it just lacks some polish and I suspect many people will be lured to the game simply because of the use of Atlantis in the title with the expectation that they could explore the legendary city… unfortunately they will have to look elsewhere to get their mythological travel fix. Not really one I’d recommend unless it’s on deep discount and you just really want another quick puzzle game.- Impulsegamer

There seems to be actual strategy involved in this game and let me tell you that came out of left field for me. As you move forward and get better, even your team can be leveled up and get better at what they do. So if you are looking for a full racing experience you will find that Nascar Heat 3 fits what you are looking for. Have fun, play games… start your engines!- Impulsegamer

Mad Skills BMX 2 brings fast-paced, side-scrolling BMX racing to Switch with smooth momentum-based controls, flashy stunts, and plenty of content to master. Career mode, challenges, and local Versus keep the action varied, while customization and upgrades give players reasons to keep pushing forward, even if the grind can feel steep at times. With colorful environments, satisfying sound design, and addictive gameplay, it’s a fun and energetic ride for both casual sessions and competitive streaks.- Impulsegamer

From pets to pvp, even jobs, titles, reputation, achievements and so many other things, Forsaken world defiantly has a plethora of content. It is not hard to get into the game and once you do, you will be surprised how easily it sucks you in. This is a fun and visually pleasing game for many types of gamers like casual, non-casual, players who do not want to spend money, and even players that do. Whatever your play style, I am sure Forsaken World will grab you in and offer hours upon hours of fun.- Impulsegamer

Ghost Song is a decent Metroidvania that avoids feeling derivative thanks to some great world-building and engaging risk Vs reward combat systems. While its Soulslike elements can make the game feel punishing for the sake of it at times, this is somewhat alleviated by the explorer mode that makes it play more like a challenging but traditional Metroidvania.- Impulsegamer

Overall Zack Zero looks like a game that was developed on a low budget and as such decided to go for a more fun, focused gameplay. It isn't a serious game, but it does serve the goal of entertaining you while you sit down and play it. If you have no problem with casual games and just want to kill some time and doesn't mind a few bugs or kinks, I'd recommend the game for you.- Impulsegamer

Despite this Puddle is an original concept, and it can certainly be addictive. It is refreshing to see a game this simple be able to grab a players attention for a number of hours. Enjoyment of the game will definitely depend on the player's ability to handle frustration as it probably could have done with a lower difficulty setting. That being said, if a puzzle game gets you to keep coming back it must be doing something right.- Impulsegamer

Tomb Raider Remastered I-III is more of an updated version of the main games rather than a fully remastered one. Apart from the new modern control which still struggles to keep up with today’s standards, there isn’t anything new to the game. While that may be good for the old fans of the series, it will create a struggle for new players and therefore not be able to enjoy some of the best exploration games out there.- Impulsegamer

Despite some odd character animations and a few absent quality of life features, I quite enjoyed my time with Degrees of Separation. Its unique elemental-duality puzzle mechanics forced me to think outside the box, and I found myself surprisingly compelled by the character’s relationship development. There may not be enough puzzle variety to satisfy all 2D puzzle-platformer connoisseur’s, but there’s plenty of interesting material here to warrant the modest cost of entry.- Impulsegamer

In the end, Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale doesn't offer the gamer anything new in terms of gameplay but gives players a classic sword and sorcery experience plus 10 or so hours of gameplay. It may not be the most exciting game of the year but considering the cost, it's actually not that bad either. If you are a fan of the classic Dungeons & Dragons rules and game settings than you really should check out this game, provided you like button smashing.- Impulsegamer
