Hey! Pikmin is a great game to add to your library. It’s a solid addition to the series and it freshens up the formula with the perspective shift, but having said that, don’t expect a game that’s on par with the previous console games. A Pikmin fix is always good though, so enjoy!

Hunt the Night is a dark fantasy action-RPG where you play as Vesper, a skilled Stalker fighting to reclaim a world overrun by monsters. You explore interconnected environments, solve light puzzles, and battle both standard enemies and challenging bosses using a mix of melee and ranged attacks. The game combines fast-paced combat with atmospheric pixel art and a haunting soundtrack to create a tense, immersive experience.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is a good game but something feels missing.

After plundering into its depths though, Motorfest loses traction due to its dogged determination to provide excess over a properly immersive racing game experience that makes the most of the Oahu Hawaii setting.

Waltz of the Wizard is a fun VR experience for anyone whose ever daydreamed of spending their time tinkering away at the Unseen University.

Chibi-Robo Zip Lash on the 3DS is a fun arcade game that delivers an enjoyable yet clichéd experience on this console!

PlayStation’s new PlayLink format is off to a good start and That’s You really showcases their new software well, including the ease of connecting smart devices to their console. All in all, That’s You is an entertaining game and if you’re looking for a party game, it definitely meets the mark and more importantly, everyone has a smartphone these days so getting your friends and family around to play a game on your PlayStation 4 has never been easier.

At the end of the day, Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi is an interesting addition to the franchise but when it comes to originality, the game is a little lacking.

With as solid a foundation that Housemarque has created here, the potential for a truly boundary breaking game definitely exists but the short length, lack of replayability and immense difficulty spikes dampen the overall experience.

It’s as stylish and as violent as the original while exploring more lesser-explored Lovecraftian tropes to tell a more intimate story about guilt, loss, and ultimately accepting your fate, as grim as it may be.

The potential for Multiversus is incredible. Fix some technical hiccups and you have one of the most exciting games of 2024.

If you’re new to the game then this is the definitive version, even if it still possesses the design flaws the original had, but make sure you come into Patapon knowing full well what you’re getting yourself into.

A pointed satire of the human cost of corporate shenanigans, Revenge is a solid sequel that almost didn't exist but I'm sure glad it does.

Robinson the Journey is an interesting game on the PlayStation VR that successfully creates a virtual world, however it does have some limitations that includes the graphics, part of the gameplay and at times fiddly controls. So if you have push aside these limitations, the game does give you a sense of freedom and is a step in the right direction for the future of VR titles. Let’s just hope that developers can streamline the controls and more importantly, ensure that the players don’t need to dish out additional money for a PlayStation 4 Pro to upscale the graphics.

Yum Yum Cookstar, though made from the remains of a Cooking Mama game, does its job as a low-price cooking game well enough, for better and worse.

All in all, despite being waaaay overpriced, Call of the Beastmen is a welcome addition to Total War: Warhammer and provides healthy clues the game has plenty of room to grow and improve more as time goes on.

My Friendly Neighborhood is the kind of creepy I like; it takes the mundane and twists it just enough to feel threatening. It’s also the kind of game that wears its inspirations on its sleeve, a silly mix of Resident Evil and Sesame Street with a hint of Bioshock. Which, unfortunately, extends to a final act that doesn’t quite live up to the promise of its earlier chapters. Regardless, there’s still a lot to love about this fuzzy fright fest, and if you’re a less violent Resident Evil variation, or simply something as silly as it is spooky, you can trust the Szymanski’s to tell you how to get to My Friendly Neighborhood.

Is it worth the price tag? That's a tough one. If you've enjoyed the previous game/s and you don't have any in your collection at the moment... it is a good way to have that classic game with the addition of some extra modes if you want to try those too.

Overall Space Commander is great for small bursts of play, especially useful in handheld mode. Though the game struggles for people wanting to play for long periods due to the very repetitive nature of missions. People looking for a Space game on the Switch do have plenty of choices but they can’t go wrong with this, if they are able to overlook the economy and repetitive nature.

Although certainly not without its flaws, Battleborn is a solid foundation for Gearbox to build upon in the upcoming months.

Well worth a look for those who may have skipped its initial release after becoming disenfranchised with the direction the series was taking.

Ark: Survival Evolved has more bugs than the grill of a Mack truck and your first introduction to the game can feel akin to the sensation of being hit by aforementioned truck, but peel away the layers of abstruse game mechanics and you’ll find a strangely compelling game that’ll make you feel like the Pope of Dino-Town at times and want to open a vein in a hot bath at others.

Suzerain would have benefited from the additional graphical flourish to really push the game up a level or two, but it is still a strong contender and will stand on its own. Well worth a play.

PC is definitely not my number one choice to experience the new adventures of Geralt. Though the game captures the essence of CD Project Red’s The Witcher series, at the end of the day, it’s just a casual card adventure, not a full-blown RPG, and that will make it difficult to keep up with the experience longer than a short while.

An interesting take on the hospital sim. Difficult decisions and resource management are the order of the day.

Despite the lack of polish the game is actually quite good, the story is still interesting and the game play is just ‘ready to go’. There is no need for learning a complicated control system, or hours of investment to identify how to identify the tactics to fight enemies, just load it up and start shooting. This game can offer a great escape for anyone who wants to spend the casual 30-60 min gaming session at the end of a long day of work without using any brain cells. The repetitive nature of the battle system and scenery will make most players feel like they have mastered the game play very quickly and the story element breaks up this monotony enough to sustain most players attention.
