With three heartfelt stories about the meaning of the relationships framed in A Twilight Zone atmosphere, Last Stop is an ambitious interactive comedy-drama which succeeds to deliver its message, even if sometimes at the expense of gameplay experience.

An Action-RPG full of passion that focuses on simplicity and, for this reason, it is incredibly solid. Level design, attention to detail, art style and soundtrack deserve just applause. Ok, it throws you in an huge labirint without any map, but it can be even a good thing.

Cris Tales is carried along by a good story and an extraordinary art direction that tell of heroic acts, self-acceptance, courage, revolutions and hopes in a "fairytale about time". His non-linear tale is based on a classic JRPG gameplay but it's able to present itself with its own clear and distinct personality, unique mechanics and good ideas, trying to give depth to the combat system. Unfortunately these possibilities do not match well with the lack of strategic situations and the very high frequency of random encounters does not help to make the most banal encounters less unpleasant. Cris Tales remains a well done game, but could have offered much more.

A nice turn-based tactical game, simple to understand but hard to master, set in the ever-fascinating Warhammer 40.000 universe. The experience is fun, but just two armies and one campaign don't fully justify the relatively steep price.

Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline is a shallow narrative expansion, with a good storyline undermined by a lazy structure and the choice of giving far less importance to London, which was the best element of the original game.

This sequel is very similar to the first chapter in terms of feel and structure, but that does not mean that it is not a valid and better game: those who have enjoyed the first will surely love Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.+

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! compared to the free experience on PC, adds either a lot or nothing, depending on your point of view. Pragmatically one could argue the futility of the expense in the face of mostly identical content available for free. However, the point is not this: whether you want to reward the developers after the experience with the free edition, or in case you want to approach the game using its "improved" version (despite some limitations), Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! remains a work of extraordinary emotional impact.

Chicory teach everyone else how to tackle some real issues about our society and, ultimately, our life. But its gameplay lacks that spark that made Wandersong great.

SEGA tried to give a fresh spin to the classic multievent Olympics game and mostly did. The mix of arcade vibes and quite unusual choices in terms of disciplines works well and the game is fun, but its structure is pretty lacklustre and multiplayer is too much limited to shine properly.

A classic new metroidvania inspired by Hollow Knight. It brings nothing new in the genre, but it makes no errors resulting in a very solid game with well crafted and various mechanics. It will lead you for more than 25 hours through an interesting realm hiding a fine story in it. A gem that simply deserves a place in the Olympus of metroidvanias.

Mario Golf: Speed Rush combines the well-known Camelot’s pick on Golf (with some substantial changes in the swing) with new gameplay opportunities. In terms of contents, though, it’s not very convincing at this time, with just five real courses and easily forgettable modes.

Despite a relatively solid release, the old bugs remain and the new improvements only justify the purchase for those who have been missing the game for a few years or have never played. Dark Alliance is an action game with a fiery soul and brave ambitions, whose gameplay is a little bit undermined by some naive choices and a lackluster balance. It's fun in co-op and depicts with joy the D&D universe, but at day one it's still too unpolished to achieve the glory of the top action RPGs.
