In the end, it all boils down to the pacing. The story moves at glacial pace, and the interactive moments are too few and far between. The unfortunate result is that playing Icebound feels like watching snow melt.- Hooked Gamers

Depths of Fear: Knossos holds very few redeeming qualities, however I will give it some credit for the premise. Playing as Theseus and fighting your way through dungeons filled with mythical creatures sounds great. It’s just not here. Also, Daedalus repeatedly made me laugh, which I’m sure wasn’t the intention, but we all need a good chuckle now and then.- Hooked Gamers

While it does some things well, namely its exploring and parts of its combat, almost everything seems like the “lite” version of what they should be.- Hooked Gamers

I was also impressed to see a game made on RPG Maker VX Ace that was so enjoyable - often the products of the RPG Maker series serve as a way for a creative mind to explore ideas, rather than making it to a level where it can actually capture an audience.- Hooked Gamers

Cloudbuilt is a fine game. It’s not a great game. It’s not a really good game. It’s fine.- Hooked Gamers

Once you have maybe 10 hours of gameplay under your belt, you will start to appreciate the subtle changes that the upgradable heroes and combat mechanics bring, and thus the equally subtle innovations that Triumph Studios has made throughout the game.- Hooked Gamers

There are definitely some areas that could use a little polish - inventory and shop system, the save/load points, but those things aside, the game is fun to play.- Hooked Gamers

If you wanted TESO to be a Skyrim sequel, you're going to be disappointed. If you wanted it to be another World of Warcraft clone, then stick to Lord of the Rings Online. If you are looking for something fresh in a familiar setting then you are in for a feast.- Hooked Gamers

While I may not suggest buying this title in comparison to others, if you've already played all that you feel like playing, but are looking for a decent time killer with an RPG flavor, Quest of Dungeons may be worth checking out.- Hooked Gamers

As a joke, Goat Simulator excels in every single way. As a game, it lacks the content that would have turned it into something more. The games own developers even encourage players to wait for the game to go on sale and trust me, that is a recommendation that I wholeheartedly agree with.- Hooked Gamers

Escape Goat 2 is joyfully old-school, feeling very much like a lost NES title. Its soundtrack is even reminiscent of Castlevania’s. It’s also comparable to the recent puzzler Teslagrad, but it’s not quite as frustrating.- Hooked Gamers

While the developers may have missed their overall mark of mixing retro style with a story and a crafting system, what they did manage to pull off was the core game itself.- Hooked Gamers

Windforge sounded like an intriguing game when I first heard about it. An explorable game with a system similar to Terraria, but in the sky? Sounds fun! In reality, you are treated with a game that is its own worst enemy, preventing you from enjoying it through numerous technical issues and strange design choices. Which is a shame. I really wanted to build something with it.- Hooked Gamers

Yet I’m not a developer, I’m merely a humble reviewer who happens to prefer the hands-on approach that Horizon promises but doesn’t deliver. If you are like me, then the game is a tough sell.- Hooked Gamers

I had a lot of fun scratching my brain over this game and will recommend it to anyone who enjoys relaxing in front of their screens with a mouse in one hand and a hot cup of coffee in the other. It does have some issues, but those are easily overlooked in the light of the game's variety of puzzles and brain teasers.- Hooked Gamers

A few things hold it back from being a complete success, but these can largely be overlooked in favor of all the things the game does right. Never before has a game made four words fill me with such excitement and anticipation. "Pilot, prepare for Titanfall."- Hooked Gamers

Overall, Thief is a quality game, particularly if you take the time to explore the side missions. If you go in expecting the game to be a solely stealth game or a remake of the original, you will probably be disappointed.- Hooked Gamers

This is a game to play when you are waiting around for something, need to quickly blow off some steam, or if you’re a maniacal completionist. The depth behind the simplistic control scheme is impressive up to a point, until it all starts to get a bit samey.- Hooked Gamers

A House Divided ends with one hell of a cliffhanger—arguably one of the worst cliffhangers in the series. The wait for Episode 3 will be very difficult... but if Episode 2's quality is any indication, it will also be very much worth it.- Hooked Gamers

OMG Zombies! is a competent and bloody puzzle game that manages to be entertaining despite its simple structure. It may grow old on you quickly due to a lack of variety in the game modes, but for what it is worth the game is a fun little ride on the gore train.- Hooked Gamers

BeatBlasters III is short lived, but even in that small amount of time, the action became a bit repetitive. There's not much of a sense of progression other than moving forward through the barely explained story.- Hooked Gamers

The game suffers from some pacing issues, both with a mostly unexciting and forgettable campaign tale and some very high XP requirements for unit progression, but it’s also got redeeming qualities in a great visual style, distinct faction playstyles, and a plethora of strategic unit options.- Hooked Gamers

Banished challenges you to give your best and if you provide, it will reward. Perhaps you need to be a bit of a masochist to enjoy the game, but it is easily the most fun I have had in a sandbox city builder in a long time.- Hooked Gamers
