If you’re willing to search for it, then this may be a journey worth starting. Though only enthusiastic explorers should apply.

If you played the original Wings! all those years ago, then you'll definitely enjoy the Wings! Remastered Edition. If you're a newcomer, there should be nothing stopping you from picking up a copy. Wings! Remastered Edition does everything right.

Let’s be clear here: Ancient Space is definitely not a new Homeworld, nor should it have to be. It has found its own niche, applying the excellent balance and approachable tactics of the traditional RTS, and taking it into space with panache.

In this day and age, it's not very memorable. Years ago, it might have been able to stand up against the JRPGs of the 1990's. But we have had a lot of them since then, bridging a wide spectrum between pure gold and pure wastes.

So if you’ve got friends, Shadow Puppeteer may be worth a look at for some fun co-op puzzle solving action. Otherwise, it might be best to create some shadow puppets of your own on the wall.

When you die – and you will, a lot – the frustration is not because you weren’t expecting it, but because you know you can do better.

That said, I like the style, and could potentially see TinyKeep as a light introduction to the genre but it is hard to recommend to veterans.

The game draws you in deeper with every new area that you explore. Even when you don’t take the time to read its extensive dialogue, the struggle to survive on the barren wasteland and the sometimes nail biting battles in which each bullet counts will make you want to devour this game from start to end.

Kraven Manor has made itself known as what a horror game shouldn't be; an unfulfilling experience.
