   For those of you having issues installing I am very sorry. This game is kickass and beautiful. Hopefully those of you who are unable to get in have a patch coming your way soon. Everything looks so much better then i could have imagined after only having seen screenshots before I bought the game. Regardless of how much brighter the underworld is then the original the Librarian sequence is and I swear to god just as scary if not scarier then the original. I have a pretty sweet asus sound card for my Sennheiser HD 598 head phones. The sounds in this game are so creepy at times that I had to take my headphones off and switch over to my speakers. This was due to i was jumping and turning around way to often like a **** The audio bump from Metro 2033 to Redux is amazing although it does take a decent open ear headset with a soundcard to truly enjoy. My daughter walking on squeaky floorboards above me was often mistaken for in game sound that's how unbelievably clear it is. Most scenes are startling however this game does throw you into a ton of run for your life moments especially in the harder difficulties on Survival mode. Survival mode really does make you think hard about your weapon setups which to me adds a whole new level of tension. Out of ammo = run and hope u can get to the next objective which happened to me frequently LOL. I will totally RLTW again with Ranger difficulty on Spartan mode. 11/10 for doing such a good job resurrecting one kick ♥♥♥ game.
   
   Avoid bushes in combat they are too OP. ;)
   
   To all of you out there posting negative reviews due to crashing or bugs without posting system specs and OS you are not helping any one.

   Although we can't say that Metro: 2033 Redux is a real remake, it is a great game with better character models, graphics, and cutscenes. The based game is the first game of arguably the best first-person shooter series Metro with a decent story becomes even better with the unique atmosphere. Even if you normally don't really appreciate FPS games you should definitely try it.… Expand

Now to the bad stuff. The game crushes often and fails to launch even more often. Be ready to restart a level because npcs got stuck in a pipe and you cant kill it to advance further. Weapons and attachments are cool, could be better though. There is a fair amount of stealth and shooting and 90% of the missions are fun. 4/5
   
   Visuals: It's old and it shows. Anyway, the atmosphere is unmatched by any game i have played. The distopian nightmare is done right here (even sounds are well done). 2,5/2,5

   Definitely a great game! Great setting and atmosphere and good story. There is some minor problems though. There's some issues with theDefinitely a great game! There's some issues with the dialogue volumes; when you walk in a crowded space everyone just starts talking at the same time with the same volume and it becomes really annoying in the first hours of the game. Another issue I would say is the not so good inventory, you can't really do much in it. you can't change the place of your guns, grenades or anything else. I had just one crash at the last part of the game. Other than these it's a pretty awesome game, I would recommend to everyone who likes post apocalyptic stories.… Expand

   First of all, our game is a redux version of the original game. Despite that, don't expect too much graphics because the graphics look bad considering both the release year and the game engine used.
   
   Our game handled a very boring process at first. Both because the game is mechanically difficult and the game engine's fighting and shooting mechanics are not good, it turns us off from the game. If you skip the first few hours, the later parts draw you in more. I think the game engine used is very inadequate. .So melee almost doesn't work at all. Also, things like weapon design and reticle calculation don't work well in my opinion. Even the atmosphere created by the producer company is very wonderful. In other words, a truly post-apocalyptic world has been created both outside the subway tunnels and inside the subway. Especially the daily routines of people trying to live in the subway are very well conveyed. For example, a child in one room draws a picture with chalk on the wall, while in the other room people eat He raises pigs in cages for them. In the next room, you see the injured people in the infirmary. Details like this and this really add a great atmosphere to the game. Even though the variety of weapons seems like a lot, the effect on the enemies is not very positive. I didn't like the weapon design either. Even if the accent is liked by people, I think it's a bit of a lousy dubbing. But the atmosphere sounds and the sounds of the enemies, look, they are very nice. The game opens as a storyline towards the end. There is a library section in particular, which I really liked. Especially the feeling of tension. this game gives you a good life there.
   
   In general, I found the game successful in terms of atmosphere and operation. It has a scenario that is not very funny. The parts I don't like are the graphics engine and fighting mechanics in which the game was created, I wish it were better. If you like the genre, you should definitely give the subway series a chance. Have fun...… Expand
