Avowed is not Obsidian's masterpiece, but it is a competent and very enjoyable game that will please those looking for an RPG adventure that doesn't overwhelm with endless content. Perhaps it could have offered new ideas, but the familiarity of its approach does not detract from its quality. Only the ending may disappoint.

One of the most beautiful and striking games of the year and a sure bet for any run and gun fan. It could use more content, but it's a blast while it lasts.

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Imagined Land is not the definitive installment of the saga, but its ideas and new approaches lead it to establish itself as a perfect entry to capture new fans looking to enjoy an unusual JRPG formula in the genre.

It's not the best version of the game, but it's the best possible port for Nintendo Switch. You'll miss the 60 fps and see the visual downgrade if you've played it on other platforms... but if that's not the case (you don't have other console or PC), or just wanna play DOOM Eternal anywhere, you'll enjoy it like on the rest of platforms.

Ace Combat 7 brings us 30 of the world´s most advanced war planes to engage different combat scenarios (escorting civilian planes, attacking refineries, evading enemy radar, facing an enemy ace...). Although it is an arcade, planes feel realistic and we enjoyed 8 player online mode and VR levels for PS4 version.

Monster Hunter arrives on Nintendo Switch with an installment practically unsurpassed. Perhaps we miss more changes or a more remarkable graphic face washing, but it's undeniable that hunting, in the old fashioned way, is better than ever.

RiME is a lesson of how to make video games. The soundtrack is a masterpiece, game mechanics are great and the story left no place to speculation. Without any doubt, one of the essential games of this year.

A very pleasant adventure that you will enjoy particularly in multiplayer. It recovers the right path from the previous game.

With fantastic remaster visuals and the same old gameplay (in both a good and a bad way), Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy can be enjoyed by everyone, but mostly those who grew up with the original games for the first PlayStation.

The best possible ending for a great story about growing up, love, family and zombies. It may be goodbye for Clem, AJ and the old team at Telltale, but we wish all farewells were as satisfying as this one. Now they can rest knowing that "we will always remember that".

It doesn't offer anything new from the PS4 and One ports, but it's still an adventure with a great story and atmosphere.

It’s simple: did you enjoy Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and would you like to enjoy another helping of beautifully designed platforming sections and boss fights that are some of the best ever seen in a 2D game? Well, don’t think twice: the Mask of Darkness DLC is a must-have.

NEO: The World Ends With You retains the freshness, uniqueness and stylish nature of the original game, but at the same time reinvents itself without forgetting the complexity and tons of content usually found in the JRPG genre. We're once again before a true gem.

Valorant is a great multiplayer proposal, that although it includes elements from many other games, its cohesion manages to give it a unique personality. Riot Games has been able to detect the genre by providing a game that reminds us of League of Legends for its soul and spirit, but which is not afraid to explore boundaries.

This War of Mine Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch is a game that reflects the crude nature of war like no other. It is not intense or spectacular at the visual level, but it is capable of transmitting like few others, putting us in the shoes of survivors trying to survive with difficulty in the middle of a warlike conflict.

A remarkable platforming game that the whole family can enjoy. Its only "sin" is being too similar to previous titles. It lacks a soul gameplay wise. Even so, it's a solid, beautiful adventure.

Tales of Xillia Remastered is an ideal game for newcomers to the series and one of its standout entries. The remaster does little more than meet the basics, but it preserves the addictive gameplay, its innovative combat system, and a story that leaves a lasting impression.

The jump to a platform of greater power such as Nintendo Switch seems to have played against Game Freak, but there is no denying that there are very good ideas and much needed changes. And, although it needs work, the Wild Area firmly establishes the foundation of the future of Pokémon.

It may not be the most innovative or spectacular game on the scene today, but it certainly has a clear vision of what it wants to present, and it delivers solidly. If you're looking for classic fights with a slightly modern twist, you can say "okay" like Terry Bogard here.

Grim Fandango returns from the dead with a bittersweet taste in its mouth. Graphics have been improved, but the backgrounds remains low res and grainy, topped with an ugly 16:9 screen mode that stretch all the visuals, not to mention the bugs that will freeze the game. At least it delivers new content that will make fans happy, like a new control mode and audio commentary from the creators. Fans will love it, but the rest?

Reanimal is Little Nightmares with another name and THQ Nordic as editor, for better or worse. It introduces some interesting new features and it is quite fun, but it doesn't take any risks and its animal fable about human violence is a little bit confusing.

The Sims 4: Cats and Dog is one of the best expansions yet to come of this generation. These are the most realistic pets we have ever faced and the customization options are infinite. We love Brindleton Bay and the new vet clinic, it's worth the shot.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Persona 3 Reload keeps the Atlus RPG experience intact. The only sacrifice is the performance reduction (30fps instead of 60fps), but in return, you gain the ability to play it anywhere... which is greatly appreciated in a game of this kind.
