Overcooked! 2 follows the good sequels playbook perfectly: it's bigger, it has more multiplayer options, new dishes, more characters, more crazy restaurants... It's very similar to the first game and it can be seen as "more of the same", but it all dismisses when you start to play and let go with its addictive gameplay: it's fun in its purest form.

This remaster offers some relevant resolution improvements and an interesting 3D effect. The rest is pretty much the same as before.

Hunt Showdown is a tactical shooter like no other you´ve ever played. It delivers a great balance between fights, horror elements, stealth... set in 19th century Louisiana. On the downside there is no single player mode and we encountered some problems with matchmaking.

It's not the best fighting game of the year (there's too many great rivals), but it sure is a safe bet for those who want a great looking, accessible game.

Fast Racing Neo is a great replacement for F-Zero on Wii U. Its type of arcade racing is not very common these days.

The Yakuza Kiwami 1 & 2 bundle brings together two great adventures, updated in a pack that is highly recommended for those who are new to the series and want to start from the beginning. However, Kiwami 2 still has the same technical issues as in the PS4 version, although visually it is a delight, especially in portable mode.

Borderlands 4 establishes itself as a well-rounded entry that offers updated and tremendously fun gameplay. A lackluster campaign and a somewhat generic open world prevent it from reaching its full potential, but this is a looter shooter capable of standing alongside the best in the genre.

Cities Skylines arrives on PS4 to delight fans of urban management and construction games with an edition that includes the DLC After Dark. Despite being a notable edition, it does not reach the mark because it does not include the rest of the expansions and does not allow to manage some aspects.

As other games that punish the player that fails, Ghostrunner is not a game for everybody. The "die, repeat, die and repeat again" formula is not for the faint of heart (or with little time), but if it fits with your tastes, be prepared for a defying experience, with highly inspired chunks and a gratifyingly satisfying feeling.

While some games in this package aren't as well-rounded as the rest, the overall package is truly satisfying for any fighting fan. Enjoying epic battles in Alpha 3 or Capcom vs. SNK is still as intense as it was 25 years ago.

The Star Wars Outlaws port shines on Nintendo Switch 2 with technical quality that rivals other platforms, offering the appeal of being able to play anywhere, and with better results than on devices such as Steam Deck. This port raises the bar for what Nintendo Switch 2 can do, even if it is at 30 fps.

Its beautiful minimalistic design, more than 100 playable songs and an interesting story mode make VOEZ a great music game. Nevertheless, the Switch version isn´t playable on TV or tabletop modes, which makes no difference compared to iOS or Android release.

It's a shame that the "worst" version of Persona 3 got remastered, specially when this game has been longing for years for a definitive edition with all the contents of Persona 3 FES and P3P combined, but having such a great game on modern platforms and -for the first time- translated to Spanish is a little triumph.

Despite being a remake, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is one of the most outstanding games to come to Nintendo 3DS this year. It's also one of the best deliveries of a Fire Emblem title thanks to the inclusion of novelties such as exploration in 3D and classic elements of the saga.

Star Wars Pinball VR is, probably, one of the best VR pinballs out there. It only need more tables and a little polish, because all the rest is already there, starting for the inmersion, great table and mini games design, the options to customize the fan cave, different game modes...

World of Horror is not a game for all horror lovers, because of its 80's style of text based adventure game. But if you connect with its formula, with its roguelite touches, its turn-based combat and its visuals, then get ready to have a great time. Too bad it does not squeeze all the options offered by Nintendo Switch.

This game shows how a blast from the past can affect us: it helps us understand that some things don't age well, but it also works as a memento of a fascinating, innovative era. Recommended for tough guys and survivalists of a bygone era.

The universe of Alan Wake 2 grows with a small collection of original and fun ideas that play with the unexpected, humor and “the impossible”. A small stroke of genius that will not taste like much, and that has its biggest flaw in the reuse of the scenarios of the base game.

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma manages to make the sum of its parts evolve a saga with several palpable problems. Some of these obstacles are still there, but anyone who wants a management and combat game with content has here a worthy representative... The first chapter of Life is Strange 2 surprises for good. The game maintains the essence of his pre-sequel and it's capable of contributing its bit with a much more dynamic and natural universe. We have doubts to resolve as the importance of Daniel's power, but the trip of the Díaz brothers is promising.
