Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana was a great game in 2016 an it still is in 2022, but the lack of improvements or noticeable additions make this PS5 version a bit questionable.

Like a unique cocktail, Yoku's Island Express mixes with taste, and in intelligent way, the typical elements from metroidvania adventures with pinball's game mechanics, yielding as a result a very enjoyable and addictive game that feels unique and is very fun. A game that those who are tired from the same formulas will enjoy the most.

Command & Conquer Remastered Collection is an example of how to do things right. In addition to improved graphics and audio, Petroglyph Games has introduced a new control system, many extras, collectibles and game modes.

Helldivers 2 doesn't invent anything, but what it does do, it does so well and in such a fun way that it is difficult not to fall at its feet. There are flaws, shortcomings and aspects that are not well balanced, but none of that stops it from being a fun game, a guilty pleasure, especially in co-op.

A classic fun shoot´em up, which brings back memories from R-Type, darius and Gradius, and offers great multiplayer and replayability. On the downside, it´s not too long and difficulty is not always well balanced.

The best game of 2021 arrives at Nintendo Switch with a wonderful port, which has almost nothing to envy to the other versions. It even adds new elements, like a superfab spanish voiceover (missing on the 2021 release). If you have Switch and you love coop games, you shouldn't miss this one if you don't have played it yet.

Watch Dogs 2 it's a triumph over the first game... And one of this year's biggest surprises. Gameplay-wise it's pure fun, the change of tone fits the story perfectly and the recreation of San Francisco might be the most vibrant and interesting virtual city we've had the pleasure to explore. All sequels should be like this.

We loved Two Point Campus. It is a great game for veterans and newcomers to the tycoon genre, and has great sense of humor. Controls (with gamepad) need some practice.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 isn't a step forward in the series, but it does manage to catch its breath to some extent. A campaign that's the result of too many ideas that hit and miss constantly, a multiplayer that's not for the faint-hearted, and some hugely addictive zombies make for a solid, but not memorable, installment.

Lost Judgment adds new mechanics and minigames to the Yakuza formula, although it is still a conservative approach. We loved the story, the characters and the realistic streets of Kamurocho in Tokyo and Ijincho in Yokohama.

Project CARS 2 repeats a bigger offer of content with more cars, circuits and game modes. It's not perfect, but it's still a great racing simulator full of options for cars lovers.

This sequel represents a bigger and better take on what we already knew. The Outer Worlds 2 is a solid, deep, and fun experience, although we expected a bigger leap forward with the next generation of the series.

Hogwarts Legacy finally has a version for a Nintendo console that has nothing to envy to the rest, neither in graphics, nor in performance, nor in fun. It's shame that there are no new content or that the physical version is a Game-Key Card, but except for that, it is a good port of a fun game that all Potterheads will enjoy.

As its own name suggests, this is a handsome collection, since it includes two great games for the price of one. There are very few remasters that can look at it face to face without feeling ashamed.

The best way to continue enjoying one of the best racing games of 2014. Storm Island is focused on off road races and includes iconic cars such as the Dakar Mini, although it´s not cheap.

The Division 2 has far more content than the original, it is set in a bigger and more varied city, and it shows great balance in loot and character levelling. It is too conservative in gameplay and level design, but we still love its gunplay and cover systems.

Mind Control Delete is a unique puzzle game. It adds new levels, powerful enemies and sticks to the original gameplay.

A great surprise in the Wii U digital catalogue. Frenetic multiplayer entertainment. Full of modes for every kind of player.

F1 2016 marks the return of Formula 1 to the podium of the racing genre, after two weak games. The handling is ‘made in Codemasters’ and the sense of immersion has increased because of details such as the safety car or the manual starts from the grid.

After inheriting the Banjo-Kazooei's 3D environmental platforming DNA, now Yooka y Laylee goes behind the 2D skin of Donkey and Diddy Kong. The chamaleonic Playtonic proves their mastery going back to its Rare legacy, offering a very sweet and enjoyable platform game that tastes like classic honey.

Happy Home Paradise is the answer for those feeling fatigued by Animal Crossing New Horizons.

Hotline Miami Collection arrives in physical format to our country, reuniting two of the best indie action games. The series started almost 10 years ago, and as with old good classics, they are timeless: graphics, gameplay, music... all is still over the top.

A great mix between platforming and puzzling, a game that offers fabulous controls, level design and lots of options to play alone or with friends. A very enjoyable and hardcore platforming experience, even better thanks to its astounding electronic soundtrack.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a pretty conservative entry in the series, but the great story and strategic gameplay will hook you up like the rest of the Valkyrya Chronicles titles.

Mimimi Studios stays true to the genre. Desperados III has some outdated mechanics, and the game progression is based on trial and error, which is something the fans will love, but it can be frustrating for newcomers.

A fresh visual novel, set in XIX century, which introduces new mechanics to the Ace Attorney Saga. It is not translated into spanish language, and requires some advanced level to understand some legal and historical terms.

NBA 2K26 offers interesting additions in terms of gameplay while further refining its audiovisual aspects. However, in terms of modes, it doesn't offer much and continues to be weighed down by the usual problems. If you avoid falling into its tedious systems and microtransactions, you'll find yourself with a good basketball game.

World of Warcraft: Midnight uses the transition from the Worldsoul Saga to recover the classic identity of Azeroth with great success in terms of setting and new content, with a narrative that still needs more emotional charisma.
