Hyrule Warriors: Age of Exile retains the strengths of its predecessor, correcting most of the errors and adding new features inspired by Tears of the Kingdom. The result is a game you come to for the large-scale battles and cosmic mayhem, but you stay to discover its captivating story that connects with the Zelda saga.

Although we drive a motorbike, Trials Rising sits between platform and puzzle games. It is spectacular and incredibly fun to play (even more in local or online multiplayer modes), but some elements, such as loot boxes system and loading times, spoil the experience.

Housemarque has done it again. Alienation is a great action game to play with company (without local options). Play it and you will enjoy frantic battles with laser weapons. If you liked Dead Nation, you will love Alienation.

The arrival of F.I.S.T. Forged in Shadow Torch in physical format it's a great news both for collectors and metroidvania fans: it's a great adventure, with some interesting ideas, wonderful combat mechanics and visually astounding... even if the Nintendo Switch version it's a little bit blurry and less stellar.

Shin chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation delivers on its promise of making us feel like children through the carefree eyes of Shinnosuke, using the sense of humor of the anime, which will please the fans. But the extremely slow pacing and limited gameplay (it feels like a graphic novel) won't be for everyone.

The remastered "open-world-arcade-driving-classic" is as fun as the original version... but it seems that team behind this new version had been working with the foot off the pedal. Even with better textures, it's hard to not remember the achievements of the original (60 fps, great graphics...), making the remaster even more "just fine".

A solid effort in the RTS genre. It may not be revolutionary, but delivers in transmitting the epic battles of the main series.

Even though the changes in this remastered version are subtle, L.A. Noire holds up as the ultimate detective simulator. If you didn't play it back in 2011 and love the noir aesthetic and detective films, then you don't need any clues to know that this is a must have.

Cookie Cutter is not just another metroidvania. Like so many others, it manages to find its place with its own ideas and aesthetics, that doesn't "hold back" and lets its gore and hyperviolent touch flow, with a macabre and punk humor. Too bad that some aspects need a little polishing, because it is fun and manages to catch.

NBA 2K25 improves over last year game with new gameplay additions, that have real impact on the court, and a good amount of content in modes, which is only marred by the same old mistakes in terms of micropayments and presentation.

It's by no means a technical wonder, but its "lifting" is enough to keep up with current standards. Story and atmosphere are kept unaltered for a good reason: they still are tremendously engaging.

It not only proves that the original was solid enough to endure modern expectations, but even refreshes it with style and affection. If you are a retro and platforming junkie, go get it.

The Forsaken Hollows enhances Elden Ring Nightreign with a little more content that, while not essential, will leave die-hard FromSoftware fans with a good taste in their mouths. Some additions are not perfect, but the DLC does not fail to deliver the epic and demanding moments that are the hallmark of the franchise.

Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition is a remaster that few people asked for, but it offers good technical improvements, adds new content and brings us a little closer to Beyond Good & Evil 2. If you've never played it you should give it a chance and if you did, it never hurts to enjoy it again if you're a fan of the series.

Panic Button brings all the Nazi-punching action from the 2017 FPS to the Nintendo Switch with great results. When playing in portable mode the experience can be compromised, but in TV never ceases to amaze how great everything has been translated, from the frantic shootings to the charisma of the cast.

FIFA 20 offers more of the same: lots of game modes, licenses and FUT, that will be the protagonist in the coming months, but also Volta, that surprises and can even be considered as a stand-alone game. Football fans have two great games to enjoy this year.

F1 24 is too continuous and there wouldn't be such a problem if a physics and handling system had not been tweaked that now feels worse than the last installment. The considerable improvement in the career mode is a positive thing, although the lack of other new features once again leaves us with a solid game, but without any major incentives.

The new version for Nintendo Switch 2 does not bring major improvements, but Sonic X Shadow Generations is one of the best and most complete platformers of the 35-year history of the blue hedgehog, thanks to its fusion of 2D and 3D elements from the times of Mega Drive and Dreamcast, two of Sega's best consoles... and of history.

Wasteland 3 proves that inXile can make great games regardless of time. Only by playing it, you can tell that this new game of the franchise is far better and still enjoyable. Wasteland 3 is refreshing for old players, and fantastic to new players.

Wild Hearts is a more than solid proposal that manages to come out well from its comparison with Monster Hunter. Its distinctive points are clear and give the game a style of its own. The Japanese design and setting is convincing and although it is far from being a round IP, Wild Hearts could have a great future as a saga.

Battle for Azeroth is more of the same, and that's what many World of Warcraft fans were looking for. Doesn't invent anything new and there is much that he borrows from something that appeared previously on the game, but worth returning to Azeroth to discover the history, insular expeditions and the Warfronts.

Monster Hunter Stories provides fresh air to the Monster Hunter saga with a formula in which humor, turn-based fighting and raising Monsties are the main components. Might not work for bitter fans, but if you are looking for a casual and fun JRPG or you have never played a Monster Hunter game, you'll love it.

A new sample of spanish creativity and craftmanship in horror games. It offers some great ideas and executes them well. Maybe some puzzles are too obscure and the final stretch is a bit too "iconoclast", but the overall experience is truly surprising.
