Keeper is original, technically polished, and offers an engaging, organic narrative. The problem is that coming from Double Fine doesn’t spare it from competing with a multitude of other acclaimed indie titles. It’s clearly a deeply personal project, but that very quality might be what causes it to fly under the radar.

Skylanders Imaginators is one of the best games of the franchise. Create our own Skylanders is fantastic and the Sensei are a great addition. A great design of levels and a dozens of hours of action, fun and humor complete this great adventure.

This pack demonstrates why the two original games were so groundbreaking at their time. It stands the test of time well, although some gameplay issues have been perfected in Pikmin 3 (and promise to be even better in Pikmin 4).

With a simple but well-implemented graphic and gameplay scheme, Rogue Flight is a safe bet for any classic shooter fan. Just keep your reflexes sharp...

Jedi Fallen Order is the game every Star Wars fan has been waiting for. Its level design, exploration and combat mechanics are great, and so is the use of the license. Sadly it is short (from 6 to 10 hours) and graphics feel a bit outdated.

Although it's lacking the day one patch, Indivisible is as enjoyable on the Nintendo Switch as on the rest of the platforms. With a unique style and mix of genres, it can be considered one of those games that you either love or hate, but it's so refreshing that deserves a chance.

Shantae returns with her best adventure, at least on the technical side, with some original ideas (like the card system), but at the same time being faithful to the original formula. An entertaining metroidvania that will enjoy, in first place, longtime series' fans, as will the newcomers.

If you're still thirsty for classic run & gun Contra lookalike, the new game from Slain's developer it's just that: a pixelated heavy metal orgy full of shots, sword swinging and blood. A classic template, but with an enormous weapon selection, environments and lots of bosses. The experts on the genre may find it an intense, but short, ride.

With almost 0 changes in gameplay and structure, Brothers' remake manages to offer a greater spectacle thanks to Unreal Engine 5, although it's not without technical problems at launch, as a remarkable stuttering and clipping, at least on PS5. If you played it back in the day you will find little new, and the extras and new features are a bit lazy.

Frictional Games is back with the launch of SOMA in PlayStation 4 and PC. A first-person title that scares us while we move through the deep sea base Pathos-II. Although puzzles are too easy and the frame rate is unstable.

The results of a bold idea which stays with us until the end and offers a very clever foundation for the gameplay. It's a little too short, and sometimes the gameplay is too basic in to serve the story's advancement, but A Way Out is one of those gaming experiences you NEED to try at least once.

Thanks to its fantastic combination of action RPG, survival and vampirism, if you sink your teeth into V Rising you will be completely hooked (on the taste of blood) and you will not see sunlight again for a long, long time.

Road to Boruto is a fun and spectacular fighting game that, even if it offers less content than Naruto SUNS Trilogy, includes all the DLC, the biggest roster of fighters seen in the series and offers more polished visuals, but it's not free of minor problems here and there, like fps drops in adventure mode.

Planet Coaster Console Edition is as comfortable in consoles as it was in PC. Everything remains intact, including the extensive management options and almost endless creative possibilities with roller coasters and buildings. It takes time and patience to get used to it, but if you like theme parks the effort will be worth it.

Astlibra Revision is a modern classic with a perfect balance between action and role-playing elements. There's some areas where you can clearly see that this is the work of a single person, but when you put everything on the scales, the ups weigh way more than the downs. If you miss the style and form of the old, classic JRPGs, this is a must have.

Natsume shows, once again, its mastery updating 16 bits classics, now with a beat'em up that remains amazing and entertaining as the first time... For some players maybe it falls short in length and leaves you wanting more: the 8 levels can be completed in less than 2 hours. Even with that, it's very fun and another hit for those that love couch coop.

10 years after its original release, Scott Pilgrim vs The World is still a great "retro" brawler, full of pop culture references, and incredibly fun in multiplayer (local or online, coop or versus) up to 4 players.

South Park returns to our consoles, not as a whole different game from The Stick of Truth, but rather as a new season within its gaming universe, with the style and satire of the best South Park seasons, and plenty of jokes to accompany you through the adventure.

Kirby Extra Epic Yarn follow the steps from other recent 3DS ports like Luigi's Mansion: pick up the original game, add minor extras... and enjoy a second life. An idea that seems fair to us, if it's nicely done, as is the case. Maybe the new content falls short, but the original game was very enjoyable... and it keeps delivering.

A fantastic platforming game with Nintendo's seal of quality that is now even more fun thanks to the minigames and the new epilogue. The launch price is a bit steep though, so you might want to wait a little before "swallowing it".

Puzzle Bobble EveryBubble! is the classic puzzle tried and tested, but with new types of bubbles, puzzles, challenges and the incentive that almost all the content, except the online part, can be enjoyed by up to 4 simultaneous players. Even with this new elements, it doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it is still a safe bet for fans of the genre.

Yoshi's Crafted World not only changes wool by cardboard to offer a charming plaform game: it goes beyond offering a "collect-a-thon" with extremely varied levels, full of surprises and distinct gameplay mechanics. A very enjoyable game with local co-op and a magnificent example that reminds us that in 2D gaming, not all is done yet.

The gameplay changes are minimal, but the facelift and multiplayer options mean that a game that redefined action two decades ago is still as fun in 2025 as it was back then. A great opportunity to revisit it or check it out if you've always been a Sony fan.

It may not be as deep and complex as some traditional fighting games. But the gameplay is solid and fun, and fans will love the Pokémon setting (the creatures and its attacks never looked so good). It has additional characters compared to the Wii U game.

Dynasty Warriors Origins puts the musou genre back on the map, so that those who haven't given it a chance can finally decide to do so. Despite not revolutionizing the scene and ending up being somewhat repetitive, the narrative, gameplay and technical innovations of this installment make it worth returning to Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

For the type of game it is, it inevitably gets repetitive, but there is much to discover before that happens, and it is a beautiful and relaxing haven if you are looking for escapism.
