    After inheriting the Banjo-Kazooei's 3D environmental platforming DNA, now Yooka y Laylee goes behind the 2D skin of Donkey and Diddy Kong. The chamaleonic Playtonic proves their mastery going back to its Rare legacy, offering a very sweet and enjoyable platform game that tastes like classic honey.

    Severed is Drinkbox Studios' vision of how the dungeon crawlers should be updated. A "metroidvania" adventure that's pure fun, with a fantastic combat system (that focuses on Vita's touch sensitive screen) and some mechanics, like the limbs and guts amputations, that make it a different experience. It's a game that, once it hooks you up, won't release until you finish it. A 8-9 hour trip that will make your Vita sing.

    Live a Live does not fit into any canon. Although it's an RPG, it's not like others you've tried. Its short stories, in different eras, make each of its 9 chapters like a separate game. Too bad they're short and don't go very deep. But if you expect something with the classic nineties flavour, you'll find it here. And it's very beautiful.

    Nintendo knows how to make good remakes and Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga + Bowser's Misions is another example of this. With this remake of the original game, Nintendo has made it a pleasure to return to the Kingdom, not only with Mario and Luigi, also with Bowser's henchmen in a mode that will hook you and leave you wanting more.

    The best collection from Konami, head to head with the Castlevania one... Shooting to the chiptune rock rhythms brings out our youth emotions, while the action keep being hypnotic, magic... like 30 years ago.     Overcooked! 2 follows the good sequels playbook perfectly: it's bigger, it has more multiplayer options, new dishes, more characters, more crazy restaurants... It's very similar to the first game and it can be seen as "more of the same", but it all dismisses when you start to play and let go with its addictive gameplay: it's fun in its purest form.
