Homefront: The Revolution feels like it's arriving a decade late and under-dressed, and although it reaches for the heights, it never approaches them.- God is a Geek

There are so many elements of Lococycle that don’t work well, or that are just plain boring, it is hard to see how the game could have been released on Xbox One.- God is a Geek

Ultimately, Valhalla Knights 3 is a looting, levelling dungeon-crawler and nothing more, and it’s not a great example of the genre.- God is a Geek

Aggressively un-enjoyable. Senseless level design, poor hit detection, and cheap deaths combine for a wholly repellent experience.- God is a Geek

A unique proposition on the 3DS it may be, but Ironfall Invasion has a long way to go to trouble the classics it emulates.- God is a Geek

This is an easy game to recommend to a certain type of gamer, one who hackers for retro stylings and borderline-unfair difficulty, but those who like a modern touch, it's unlikely to satisfy.- God is a Geek

An unusual concept for a game with a mixed execution. The monotony of scheduling your daughter's life unfortunately overshadows the interesting story and fantastic art direction.- God is a Geek

Lifeless, unpolished and uninspired. These are all words used to describe such a dull ripoff. This game gives badgers a bad name and, quite frankly, unlike the real creature, these badgers should be culled.- God is a Geek

Muppets Movie Adventures is light on content, light on ideas and doesn’t truly respect the Muppets who star in it. It’s a £2.99 iOS game packaged into a full priced Vita release. There are PS1 games available on the Vita that would be a much better use of your money and more enjoyable for your kids to play.- God is a Geek

Syberia 3 isn’t a bad game by any means and offers up an immersive story… If you can make it past the horrific graphical hindrances that is.- God is a Geek

Deceit 2 isn't perfect, but there's a strong gameplay loop and some nice ideas that often come together for an enjoyable experience.- God is a Geek

The addition of the utterly pointless narrative and the run-of-the-mill gameplay just make this game unnecessary. Sure it kills some time and is, on occasion, enjoyable, but if it had dropped the dead weight it could have achieved much more.- God is a Geek

The bottom line is that Cocoro doesn’t do anything that you can’t get from the hundreds of free line defence games on the net. It tries to set itself apart, with a storyline and customisable units, but it all rings a little hollow.- God is a Geek

Slain: Back from Hell is not worth buying in its current state on the Switch. Get it on PS4 or PC if you have to because it just isn’t fun playing a game that slows down and can’t maintain a locked frame rate. If these issues are addressed in upcoming patches, it will be worth it.- God is a Geek

Decay of Logos has an interesting story of a quest for revenge with some interesting supporting characters but is massively let down with the various amount of bugs that hampers progress and can cause major amounts of frustration.- God is a Geek

The premise of Extinction is brilliant in theory, but its execution is boring and hindered at all times by a camera that refuses to point where you want it to, and a control system that often doesn’t even respond to simple commands.- God is a Geek

Ultimately, The Deer God’s biggest sin is that it just feels utterly pointless. There is no emotional reason for me to play, and the gameplay is so benign and fruitless that it just made me wonder why I still held the controller in my hand. It may be trying to convey some important message about nature of survival, but it’s nowhere near engaging enough to be noticed.- God is a Geek

The story is a mish-mash of instantly recognisable boys-own adventure tropes, culled wholesale from the adventures we have witnessed in games, literature and movies past. You wont remember much about the lesser Quartermain once the game is over, but you will enjoy the fun Survival mode which gives a bit of longevity and is terrific fun to play.- God is a Geek
