Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Familia Myth Infinite Combate has a lot of problems, but it’s nowhere near being the worst game that I’ve ever played. If you’re looking for a content-rich dungeon-crawler, then you’ll probably want to pass on this one. There are better dungeon-crawlers out there. However, if you consider yourself to be a fan of the series and really want to experience it in a new and unique way, then picking this up still might be worth your time.

Danmachi Infinite Combate is sadly not a good experience for fans or newcomers. It fails on both its visual novel and gameplay offerings with strange design choices and uninspired execution. Post-game offerings aren’t enough to warrant getting through this mobile-like game brought to console. Still, that may not stop the most diehard Hestia fans from enjoying some aspects of it.

The rote hack and slash combat only really hits its stride hours into the campaign, as you begin to unlock additional skills and off-screen party members who fly into battle with special attacks on your command. Infinite Combate does get better as you sink more time into it, but its low points will likely test your patience. In particular, quests with strict time limits can often feel unfair, and grinding out tasks purely to improve your relationship with different characters is a slog.

Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? tells an enthralling story, but the basic grindy gameplay detracts from the overall experience.

Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? - Infinite Combate asks a question that the protagonist deems to be of the utmost importance. But when it comes to the actual question of whether or not to buy this game, you're better off leaving the dungeons, the story, and (of course) the girls alone.

In the end, Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? fails to deliver satisfying combat, falls short of being a rewarding dungeon crawler, and tells the story in a fatally cumbersome way that just isn't engaging. You'll be better off just watching the anime again.

Without a doubt the worst anime game I've ever played and is worse than the mobile game from the same franchise. Extremely repetitive,Without a doubt the worst anime game I've ever played and is worse than the mobile game from the same franchise. Extremely repetitive, uninspired, a gross reusing of assets, and no hint of fun to be found. I regret picking this up even for collection. Expand
