Jul 23, 2014Fun and involving enough to be compelling, Cocoro - Line Defender's only obstacles are its repetitiveness which gets excessive at some points and its unbalanced difficulty level. If these issues were addressed, this would be a fine strategy for Nintendo's handheld, as all the other elements attest to that.
-
Jun 30, 2014The bottom line is that Cocoro doesn’t do anything that you can’t get from the hundreds of free line defence games on the net. It tries to set itself apart, with a storyline and customisable units, but it all rings a little hollow.
-
Jun 28, 2014The price point is low enough that big fans of simple mobile strategy games may find something here, but otherwise you may want to skip this Line.
-
Jul 3, 2014Cocoro is a difficult line defence title that might turn a lot of people away from it because the sheer difficulty doesn't gel with the art style.
-
Jul 8, 2014Well-designed characters and some neat ideas are wasted on a slightly wonky tower-defence game.
-
Sep 14, 2014A thin game that became repetitive pretty soon. Besides its good art direction and the price, Cocoro Line Defender is not really appealing, even for the hardcore fans of the genre.
-
Jul 1, 2014If Cocoro Line Defender featured units with a lot of unique abilities that were available immediately, I would probably be writing a very different review. However, as it stands, every battle is determined by how closely you can fling your units together on the battlefield.
