Playing alone, or against the loud-mouth you loathe, there's plenty to enjoy in this 2002 version of NBA Live. Don't blame me for the numb fingers.

There's a lot more gameplay in MMBN than in most GBA games combined. Strategy/RPG fans will surely love it, and I think most other gamers will, too.

More of an upgrade than a port of a classic arcade game. There are many new features, characters and stages that weren't in the original version.

Hands down, Doom is the best action game ever made for a portable system.

This game had great promise, but wasted it on static gameplay, overwhelming camera angles, time delay between scenarios, and a redundant storyline. All that said, it still is a challenging RPG.

While this title comes up with some interesting new ideas when presenting the realities you travel to, the game itself is just another adventure/puzzle game.

A terrific simulation. It requires great reflexes, knowledge of the courses you are running, and quick decision-making – especially when the clock is ticking down on your attempt, and you are behind in points.

Be prepared to spend an infuriatingly considerable amount of time experimenting with the controls and learning the tricks. This, of course, is upsetting considering this is a sports title and a genre that doesn’t get much attention to begin with.

The sound isn’t much, but the graphics are can be very intense when you are flying past them at more than 260 miles per hour.

Steve Saleen's Styling Studio is one of the most unique features I've ever seen in a racing game. I'd like to see it further expanded in a future version of the game.

It's a massively built game but it seems more time was spent on creating the city than creating a driving story.

Graphically, Top Gun is neither "astounding" nor "very detailed." That's not to say that this is an ugly game, because it's anything but. However, the excessive amount of fog may make you think otherwise.

Stronghold is an intriguing and ‘fresh’ perspective on the civilization genre. It is filled with great graphical elements and sound, and plays well. This is a solid and enjoyable outing.

Controls will take a bit of getting used to. There are a variety of controls elements to get used to, and it will take some players up to 15 minutes to get comfortable with them.

An addictive experience for any animal and zoo lover who may or may not be accustomed to sim games. Unfortunately, experienced simmers may find the game lacking in complexity or motivation.

Devil May Cry will have you asking yourself, "Could this game be more perfect?" And you'll quickly respond, "No, it couldn't."

Good game, but a copy of the game for each PC is a bit much If you want to play on a home network.

Some people might not mind things like password saves and really enjoy 2D side-scrolling platformers, and I highly recommend this game to those people.

It's like watching a race on TV -- the graphics, even on a standard television, are picture perfect. I don't think I've ever seen pavement in a video game that looked so real before. The color and texturing is unprecedented.

A game that suffers from “could have been great“ syndrome. The weapons are cool and the missions are exciting, but the controls ruined everything.

It offers breadth, scope, and a quality graphical presentation and level design. The game offers plenty of challenges, tempting the more avid gamer into raising their ratings even after completing the fields to fulfill their quests.

Not only is it superior to the competition in every graphical aspect, it's superior in every gameplay aspect, too. Heck, it practically annihilates "Extreme G3" and the last two "F-Zero" games released.

It does a good job of capturing the style of the movie while transporting the main character to a new place with new companions. While you don't need to have seen the movie to play this game I’m sure it will enhance your experience.

The graphics are very good, and the action is intense. This is a wonderful boxing game.

I am a huge fan of Quake and enjoy a game of Diablo every now and then. But neither Quake nor Diablo held my interest for as long as Zax has. The reason: it just plain rocks.

One of the best MMORPGs on the market. It has depth of play, dynamic interplayer action, solid graphics and terrific sound.

This game is fun until you try to move. Rent the movie folks. It’s scarier, and shorter.

While a very nice and original concept, Uplink will only appeal to a select few.

As a shooter it is lacking, as an adventure it has intrigue and numerous challenges.

With a value price and sentimental value for long-time Castlevania fans, Castlevania Chronicles is a must have to the collection for fans of the series. However, outsiders to the following may not be very impressed by the older-looking graphics and gameplay – even with the minimal upgrades of "arranged" mode.

While conceptually simple, this game does provide some challenge. The graphics will grow on players, and the program itself will appeal to a wide age range.

The actual gameplay is unlikely to impress serious gamers and may, to some, the game may be found seriously wanting.

An enchanting journey, rife with clever graphics and a host of puzzles although it is built on a tired theme.

Although some aspects of the game may disappoint some racers who have a lot of experience with past F1 games, it allows for a nice balance between arcade and simulation game play.

The best F1 racing game to date. It incorporates incredible graphical elements, intense racing action and awesome sound for high-speed thrills and chills.

Unfortunately by offering little to no role-playing experience and by being based on an outmoded and poorly accessed combat system PoR is anything but radiant.

Game controls are very simple, and easy to master. Humongous is adept at making sure that games such as this are kept within the abilities of the youngest players it targets – in this case, the game is for 7-year olds and up.

I’m a fan of the cartoon series, and this program gives a quick, "don’t take me serious" wink at those who grew up with those great cartoons.

It combines stunning batting graphics with an option package to suit any baseball fan’s taste or skill level.

It doesn’t offer much in terms of long lasting appeal or replayability.

A terrific title; it is entertainment-rich, and one of those games that makes a mockery of time because it will fly when you play.

Pros might be disappointed in only 14 missions to tackle. There are hidden fields and surprises to unlock though, so Midway has not forgotten the most devoted and persnickety of game fans.

The difficulty level is significantly greater than most racing games, which is simply because F1 racing is extremely fast-paced. Although it does have its downfalls, it still proves to be a fun game.

A well-done program, and it presents a nice twist not only on the original Monopoly title, but on the economic sim genre as well.

An "art-house" game in a world of Hollywood-esqe world of action flicks. You get the distinct feeling this game was meant to be savored, not devoured; contemplated, not just consumed.

This is the first time that a survival/horror game has made me laugh out loud, and still manages to retain all of the scariness that was present in the shooting version of the game. In some cases it's scarier because you're typing for your life, which is hardly an easy thing to do.

Commandos 2 Men Of Courage has literally sucked the hours out of my life. The gameplay is like sheer crack addiction folks.

In spite of decent fight graphics and a solid audio track, this PC release manages only minimal intrigue, and game play that stagnates in the dark corridors that play out as the game’s map board.

Spidey looks great in this format, the animations are excellent and the game play is solid.

While it doesn't add anything new or addictive for gamers who might be familiar with the genre, it looks good and it's gameplay is simple and solid.

A wonderful thinking game.

Even though SS2: Dark Silhouette is an improvement on the original in just about every way, there just wasn't enough to "blow me away", as the saying goes.

This is not the type of game a casual civ/economic-sim player would want to tackle. This program is for game player that wants to exercise his or her brain.

A great game, but true hockey fans that buy the latest and greatest that EA gives us each year will not see a whole lot of changes.

If you are a Spider-man fan, you will enjoy this program. If you aren’t, you will probably enjoy the camp elements of the program, the tongue-in-cheek dialogue and the superhero animation and graphics.

Red Faction is not a classic, but the new Doom ain’t out yet buddy. Red Faction will allow you to practice the frag fest fever for the time being.

It's also challenging enough and offers 16 different characters to play as for an incredible amount of replayability. It is, however, a tough game to finesse and therefore people who aren’t sure if they like the genre itself might do well to give it a rent first.

While the graphics work nicely, the in-game elements are not what one would expect from a GBA title...This is a very good game.

This is a wonderful program that will challenge players to use their brains in ways that involve both logic and creativity.

Rotatable camera angles, a variety of weapons (albeit they're all arrows), and a good mix of puzzles and action made this game entertaining....in an Archie Comics sort of way.

Dying has never been a fun part of gaming, and dying because of a poor camera system and not a lack of skill is even worse.

Not exactly a brain buster, this game is good for hanging out with friends, eating, drinking, and yelling at the screen...just like a real game.

Unfortunately, the controls have some major issues, which is one of the major downfalls of the game. To say the least, they aren't very responsive or accurate.

Could’ve been an excellent game if the colors were brighter or if the GBA had a back light.

The game play doesn't quite match up to the caliber of the graphics.

So I admit this game is an ass kicker, especially for all you fighter pilot gamers out there. By all means add this title to your collection. Just make sure you have an over abundance of patience, and a full head of hair, because you will be pulling it out.

You may log off thinking wow we are kicking a lot of butt, just to find the next time you log on that the tide has changed and your team is pinned against the wall…Real Time at its best!!!

The sense of speed delivered is phenomenal, from the sounds of your bike revving at the beginning of the race (kind of like a jet engine...), to the smooth frame rate, you will certainly feel like you're shooting along at hundreds of miles per hour.

A great characteristic of this game is that you typically race against fifteen other cars (sixteen cars total) and in the Le Mans race the total is twenty-four cars! This is in contrast to the typical six driver racing games, which are quite boring after experiencing this.

This is probably the most beautiful display of 3-D graphics you will find in any sports game to date. This is of course if your PC has a lot under the hood, especially a good video card.

If you've seen one Armored Core title, you've seen them all. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. This is easily the best of the bunch.

It's a game that's so feature-rich, so extremely customizable, and so realistic that I'd recommend this one even if you're not a football buff.

While I expected a little more audio/visual content, given the nature of the title and it’s low price, the game is still quick, bargain priced, and bound to be an entertaining little jaunt for current fans of MTV and pop culture.

If you like suspense...if you are prone to let your imagination run wild...if you have the patience of Job...then you will find your Majestic experience to be fulfilling and exciting!

One of the best jet Sims of the year, if not of all time.

Though I could not find a stopwatch I would say that I spent around a quarter of my time in the confines of the load screen.
