  1. If you like Megaman, RPGs, Action, or Adventure games in the slightest, I highly recommend it.
  2. There's a lot more gameplay in MMBN than in most GBA games combined. Strategy/RPG fans will surely love it, and I think most other gamers will, too.

Though its not the classic Mega Man we all know and love, it is a very good design with very little to dislike...other than the fact that this isn't a "true" Mega Man game.
  4. While the gameplay of Mega Man Battle Network is excellent, what fascinated me most was the world in which the game took place.
  5. Although the game features a lot of action sequences, it’s really an RPG at heart. However, what makes this game unique is the battle system. It combines a turn based fighting system with a real time one. Did that make sense to anyone?
  6. This radical departure adds a level of depth to the series as a whole - MM fans should pick it up out of loyalty - anyone who's not a hardcore fan should let this one settle back into the big blue.

As much as I like the action-oriented battle system, random enemy encounters are far too frequent. [Feb 2002, p.172]

Buen sistema de RPG de acción, con varios "colleccionables" para hacer las estrategias que uno mas se acople, historia sencilla, pero muy bueno divertido y entretenido. Expand

Although it's not as fleshed out as Battle Networks 2 or 3 it is still a very unique stand-alone title that will have you occupied for hours of your time. However I must mark it down afew notches because it seems like it's missing a lot which the sequels addressed; most notably a "run" command. Expand

PvP in this one boils down to running an L deck and pressing a faster than the other guy can. It's fun though. Expand

Overall the rpg system is ok but the battles soon get boring, running around with your megaman.
