Feels like a fairly solid addition to the Warhammer 40k Universe. Its setting and visuals offer a great look at the dark gritty universe and the deliberate choices in combat mechanics will make you feel like a Space Marine. However, those same choices will definitely be a turn off to a lot of FPS players and when coupled with some awkward AI it’s safe to say this title won’t be for everyone.- GameSpace

I’m sure in a month or maybe even less, we will see the game turn around as the player base has already started to go back up. I’m going to keep playing it here and there and simply enjoy the game for what it is now and look towards the future as it is still the most fun shooter to play for me.- GameSpace

The problem lies in the gulf between a good game with unbelievable art, and a work of art. Cuphead gets so close to being more than a cool-looking game, but the gameplay and art style don't merge in any meaningful way. It's still worth playing, and it's still the best-looking exercise in humility and frustration that you can find on the market today.- GameSpace

Atelier Lulua is a fun game to play in small spurts. It combines crafting/gathering with a decent JRPG combat system. While crafting and gathering can be tedious at times, the general concept is pretty fun.- GameSpace

Stela was an excellent experience for me, I loved the atmosphere, music, storytelling, and found it very relaxing to play. The downsides though hold me back from recommending it for everyone. Between the very simple gameplay mechanics, at times temperamental controls, low difficulty (additional difficulty levels would have been nice), and short playtime you may be better off waiting for a sale. On the plus side if you are reading this review within a few days of its publishing date Stella is currently on the Steam summer sale for a great price. Hopefully, if the developers decide to make a sequel to the game they can improve and/or correct some of the issues noted above.- GameSpace

Trine 4 could’ve been one of the best puzzler-platformer titles of the year if Frozenbyte had spent more time on designing combats and injecting new mechanics and characters to the veins of the series. The new Trine approximately feels the same as previous games, so it’s a fun-to-play game, but doesn’t offer anything new.- GameSpace

Despite Earthblood’s roughshot ride over opportunities to dive deep into the lore of Werewolf: the Apocalypse, the focused exploration of this end of the World Of Darkness manages to deliver a bloody good time when the claws come out. It's just a shame that some of the loftier ideas are let down by repetitive stealth gameplay and poorly developed mechanics.- GameSpace

Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command is a mixed bag of dice. It’s a unique concept and the tabletop conversion and combat interpretation feels fantastic, its just a shame that when your head’s out the clouds the rest of the game doesn’t feel quite so special. Fans of strategy titles should definitely take this interesting new title for a spin but don’t expect it to be a long haul flight.- GameSpace

Let Them Come is an over-the-top call back to Sci-Fi tropes. If you like indie titles with self-aware, meta humor and RPG elements, Let Them Come is worth checking out. It’s got great pacing, it’s fun and quite bloody. Seriously, who is going to clean up these hallways after Rock Gunar is done with them!?- GameSpace

With its 17th Century setting, large 17th Century-era class selection, and an alchemy-based combat system, Black Legend stands apart from other turn-based RPGs. It looks and plays distinctly different enough from other games in its genre on the Switch to merit some attention. Its steep learning curve and the long battles, however, might turn away those with little patience.- GameSpace

Cultist Simulator: Initiate Edition is by no means a terrible game. It's just one that lends itself to a lot of trial and error coupled with a lot of dying. It's a story-driven card game with a Lovecraftian backdrop that will please the occult/horror fiction fan, assuming you have the patience to preserve. In this day and age of instant gratification, the long wait to finally figure out how to succeed in this game might be too long for most.- GameSpace

At the end of the day, Left Hand Path is doing something gamers have been clamoring for in virtual reality. It’s a hard, retro- and Dark Souls-inspired dungeon crawler that rewards exploration and doesn’t end after its first hour-long episode. Add to that a number of small touches that show the developer understands virtual reality and what it can do, and you have a game that’s definitely worth exploring, as long as you can get past the too-polygonal art and disappointing animations.- GameSpace

Like so many tales of might and magic, Haimrik is a traditional zero to hero tale. Beginning in a squalid town, this mundane little corner of the world is an appropriate reflection of the game’s titular hero. Haimrik is a spectacularly unremarkable scribe who spends his days trying to scratch out a living in the basement of the local bar. A fortuitous series of events gift Haimrik a magical book with a difference. What follows is a platforming, puzzle solving calamity with intermittent eviscerations and the odd lioness mauling.- GameSpace

If you are a fan of Minecraft and are looking for something fresh with an RPG feel, Portal Knights will definitely be a game that you should pick up. It combines the traditional gathering and creating formula with multiple, randomly-generated islands to explore packed with dungeons, monsters, and towns. While those who are looking for a creative mode won’t find that here, those who are looking for a more combat-focused building game will enjoy what Portal Knights has to offer.- GameSpace

As a follow-up, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 does manage to add the occasional extra twist, some tweaked timing, and a whole new round of puns but this enjoyable puzzle game doesn't add enough to the core gameplay to justify a sequel, however charming it is.- GameSpace

Dying Light: The Beast is a ghost of a great franchise, competently executed but lacking the spark that once made it special. The game lacks the pioneering audacity of the original, and lacks the narrative ambition of the sequel. It's a grind that, despite its apparent dynamism, leads nowhere. On top of all this, the game was extremely rough at release, and some of its bugs remain unfixed.- GameSpace

Interesting, open-ended conversations (a game, after all), discussions of the ins and outs of life, and spacewalks in familiar ships are a fantasy that really takes you right into the Star Trek universe. Although the game has some major technical issues at the moment, the game is definitely a real Star Trek game that is fun to play. If you want to immerse yourself in a brand new Star Trek storyline from the developers of Narrative Adventures, this is the game for you.- GameSpace

While We Wait Here does not shine with advanced technology and is far from perfect. But it is definitely worth a try for fans of intriguing plots and surreal atmospheres. The mechanics of cooking and customer service immerse you in a strange, creepy and surprising story. The fates of the characters are emotional and the moral dilemmas are truly complex. Moreover, While We Wait Here is short (only 2-3 hours) but replayable. It's a great option in the 'story game for the evening' category, especially for a few pounds on Steam.- GameSpace

A AAA game produced in 2018 with the backing of Microsoft simply should be far more technically sound than Forza Horizon 4 in its current state. And this perhaps is the greatest travesty for this otherwise brilliant game.- GameSpace

STATIONFlow delivers a fantastically engrossing dilemma. Starting from a simple platform, you'll build and maintain a single metro station. Sounds easy, yet it really isn't. An astonishingly deep experience that plays like Mini Metro from another perspective, STATIONFlow is on track for a successful launch.- GameSpace

There is so much more to the game I didn’t get to explore or have room to explain. Characters can upgrade and merge gear. Gear can be recrafted to fit the partner. There is pvp and raids and seasonal events. This is a game with a lot to offer. It’s free to play and if you’re looking for a classic MMORPG experience with a community then this game is worth checking out.- GameSpace

Tiny Metal is a very promising, and likely the best, attempt at replicating the successful Advance Wars formula that fans have been looking for. Although multiplayer has yet to be added to the game, and there are some minor performance issues, each of these can be taken care of with a few patches. This puts the game in a position to be great after a bit more work has been done to it, or to make an easily improved sequel.- GameSpace

If you're a sentimental fan of G.I. Joe, then you are the most likely to truly enjoy this game. G.I. Joe fans will enjoy the characters, the things to collect, the Saturday morning cartoon-ish visuals, as well as the campy cartoony storyline. For all others, this will just come across as a run-of-the-mill third-person shooter game that will require some patience to find a control scheme setting you can work with.- GameSpace

Alphaman is a 2D side-scrolling platform shoot that draws heavy inspiration, colors and all, from the Mega Man series of yesteryears. Creating an original story and unique level design, Heartfelt Games delivers a strong, albeit brief offing with nostalgia for days. The difficulty curve within can be a bit fluid, but for $5, Alphaman is worth the trip to a not-so-far-off into the 20XXs.- GameSpace

Baseball Riot is a great physics puzzler and with a 5 dollar price tag on the Nintendo store it could be a great little title for rainy afternoons or the morning commute. However if you tend to lean towards your phone for those times this title might be better off left in the dugout.- GameSpace

The gameplay of Gangs of Sherwood unfortunately resembles a constant cycle of a fight for a minute, explore the location, fight for a minute and a half, and so forth. Then players move on to the next one, and then the level is complete. Luckily, the level art is simply stunning which removes some of the monotonous pain. With the possibilities of selecting your own gameplay for the characters, and because there is enough variability in the game, it is a tolerable, if somewhat lackluster game at the moment especially in terms of combat and its attractiveness. Still, however, Gangs of Sherwood is definitely worth your attention or to keep an eye on over time, especially have someone to play with.- GameSpace

Death's Gambit is a game that can be rough and frustrating at times in one place or another. The game takes some getting used to the style of the character as well as the graphics. Destroying enemies after a long struggle, finding a winning strategy, and finding weak points in the game is also a pleasure. It didn't hurt that the game's story was convincingly simple, with some touching moments and a touch of humor. The game took a lot from the Souls series, good or bad, but it's up to you.- GameSpace
