Marvel Rivals takes on the bold challenge of building upon the foundation laid by Overwatch and adding its own unique spin--and it largely succeeds. With solid overall quality, accessible mechanics, and a wealth of content, the game feels primed for long-term success and has already captured the attention of a massive audience. Its enduring popularity is a testament to its strong design and engaging gameplay. However, hero balancing remains a noticeable issue that will require ongoing fine-tuning--something that won't be resolved in just a few patches.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl remains true to its core philosophy: to create an immersive and unforgiving Zone that feels as alive as it is hostile. Every would-be explorer must endure harsh conditions and relentless challenges, testing their resolve until they either give up or fully embrace the Zone's brutal logic and become a part of it. This experience closely mirrors the spirit of the original trilogy, making S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 feel authentic to its roots. However, some of its hardcore and overly rigid systems may prove too alienating for a broader audience, potentially limiting its appeal.

For fans of classic stealth games, Evotinction is definitely worth a try. Its various systems, including hacking, tasers, and environmental interaction, greatly expand your stealth options, providing plenty of room for creative gameplay. However, in the later stages, freedom is somewhat restricted due to resource limitations and enemy design. While the story and narrative aren't particularly outstanding, they do offer some unique touches.

Directive 8020 marks a noticeable technical leap for The Dark Pictures Anthology, with impressive visual fidelity and a chapter based structure that fits the experience well. The new Turning Points system also makes it much easier to track branching paths and piece together the story. Unfortunately, the same long standing issues still hold it back: the script falls apart under scrutiny, the new interactive mechanics feel shallow, and the "something among us" premise never becomes more than a surface level hook.

Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is a canon installment in the Final Fantasy franchise, but with the shell of Nioh. Its map, process and task modeling have clearly borrowed from Nioh, but it still seamlessly maintains the career and combat systems of the Final Fantasy tradition, which brings us a core gameplay style markedly distinguished from Nioh. The moderate death penalty and abundant skills make the exploring process less "painful". Similar to Nioh, however, the gaming experience after you have cleared the main story is a repetitious process of killing mob and collecting loots and does not feel like a hard-core action game. The game's graphics are unremarkable and its optimization has certain problems, but these do not significantly impact the gaming experience. The game is set in the world background of Final Fantasy 1 and integrates the elements of the previous installments of the Final Fantasy franchise, so its design will feel quite nostalgic to the die-hard fans of the franchise.

In the intensely competitive market of online co-op FPS games, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Extraction has effectively differentiated itself. It inherits some of the tactic and strategic features of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, its design encompasses a unique enemy eco-system, and its difficulty setting appeals to both casual players and hard-core players. However, the time-consuming unlocking progress and slightly sluggish "MIA system" prolong gaming time and also result in homogenization of the mid part of the game's process, which makes the gaming experience somewhat repetitious or tedious.

Compared with the previous episodes, The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me doesn't seem so special, old problems are still there. what's more, its selections and plot are bad, which may greatly affect players' experience. Therefore, I think it is the worst episode of the series so far, and it's not a good end to the first season.

Thymesia reminds me the feeling of playing sekiro and bloodborne, its unique combat system have brought me 10 hours of refreshing and exciting experience. However in the meanwhile, the game's plot, map design and other parts are rough. if you are a souls-like game fan, this is a game worth your time.

Shenmue III is a fan-based classic JRPG that you may love deeply or alternatively makes you feel frustrated. Although most of its game mechanics are out-dated in 2019, I do find some joy in terms of getting along with those vivid characters and living in the vivid world. At least I hope Suzuki could finish the whole story of the franchise one day.

The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story is difficult to be a good FMV game. The tedious plot, boring detective gameplay, and many unnecessary misleading information make playing it almost a disaster.

Empires Apart has a beautiful art style, and its music is immersive. Unfortunately, stupid AI ruined the game, and the poor level design even made it worse.

It's hard to find much fun in Serial Cleaners. Although its gameplay is creative, the actual effect is not gratifying: there is more negative feedback than positive, which constantly consumes players' patience. Although the four protagonists have their characteristics, they have never really completed a mission together, and many plot highlights in the game have been wasted in vain.

As a hardcore RPG, Seven shows us a realistic cyber punk world in a very creative way. It looks like a good game, but a lot of serious bugs and defects of gameplay have ruined it. This game had a nice idea and frame, while the producers failed to make it right.
