I like Sushi Mushi's playful art style and it's take on match-3 gameplay is fun, but this is really a single player puzzle game forced into a multiplayer mold. As a single player game I'd call it recommendable, but as a multiplayer game not so much so.- Gamers' Temple

The roleplaying elements have been stripped-down and the play can feel repetitive at times, but all things considered Dungeons & Dragons Heroes is an enjoyable dungeon romp.- Gamers' Temple

While PUBG delivers the core gameplay of the battle royale genre, it doesn't manage to do it with the sophistication of competing battle royale games on the PS4. It looks and plays like an alpha build of a game that's focusing on getting the basics worked out without worrying about optimization or graphical polish. It's also a threadbare offering, giving you a single game mode while games like Black Ops 4 and Battlefield V give you a whole lot more game modes beyond their battle royale modes. PUBG may have come first to the genre on other platforms, but its PS4 debut feels like a game that the world has long ago passed by.- Gamers' Temple

The puzzle is the main draw for Galactrix with the RPG elements mostly along for the ride. But I will say that there were enough RPG elements to give it a fresh take and the puzzle element was more than worth the price of admission.- Gamers' Temple

Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package is really the best way to experience Dead Rising 4. It's got all the DLC and it moves smoother than the Xbox One version. Capcom Heroes is a big savior for the game that makes it worth a replay for those that have already played the original game on Xbox One. Fans of the Xbox One version are lucky to be getting Capcom Heroes as a free add-on for their current version since it's honestly the best of the extra modes. The overall campaign, multiplayer mode and season pass DLC still remain the same for the most part but having it all in one package along with a new mode makes it definitely worth the purchase.- Gamers' Temple

The ease of play combined with a relatively small map and short story means that you’ll get through the game in a few short hours. You’ll be acutely aware of the map’s relatively small size since it will have you doing a fair amount of backtracking during your quests. It seems like the game’s length is more likely the result of some sort of constraint felt by the developers, budgetary or otherwise, because there is enough to the game’s world, story, and potential side narratives to provide for a longer experience. Your time with the game will be mostly enjoyable, but you will feel that your experience was cut artificially short when you reach the end.- Gamers' Temple

It's good to see a stronger track list in Decades, but this is still a game in which you can't play more than two songs in a row without causing yourself to feel a strong pain in your arm.- Gamers' Temple

The game clocks in at around 4-5 hours long total. It has a total of 4 acts with many stages in each act. The game can be played locally with up to 3 others players. I didn’t get a chance to try it with another player, but it definitely looks more fun with a partner. Sadly, there is no online co-op option. The game can rarely be fun, but overall I found it quite dull for the most part. The game is a mixture of dull and frustration. I really wanted to like this game, but at the end of the day, I just don’t.- Gamers' Temple

If you’re a fan of Evil Dead, this game is meant for you. It’s easy to see that the developers are fans of the series as well. Even if you’re not a fan, this game is still a lot of fun. It is one the most balanced asymmetrical game that has released yet. There were a few problems with melee canceling when the game first released, but that exploit has already been addressed in one of the recent patches, so it goes to show that the developers care about balance. The game also has cross-play! If the game can maintain some good download content in the future, this game will be one to talk about and play for the months to come. Just from the start, this game already has “JOIN US” wrote all over it... and if you get that reference, you will enjoy this game the most!- Gamers' Temple

Enjoyable on the Wii and the swing control goes a long way towards making you feel as if you’re actually swinging a club. The controls aren’t perfect yet, but they feel a lot more realistic than pushing a stick up and down with your thumb.- Gamers' Temple

It's a competent enough first-person shooter on a system that's lacking many first-person shooters, and if you play it in short doses while you're on the go, it can provide a fun distraction.- Gamers' Temple

Overall, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier is recommendable. In spite of the camera issues and frustrating and repetitive elements of the gameplay, it has enough going for it to make the overall experience fun. I think that I would have enjoyed the game more if it was all aerial and no platform, though.- Gamers' Temple

I had fun playing Minecraft Legends, but there are some aspects of the game that could be improved. The overworld is really large and really gorgeous in a Minecraft voxel kind of way, but it’s largely empty of anything more interesting than resources. I wish there was more to discover on long rides into the wilderness, but once I had reached all of the main locations I pretty much relied exclusively on fast travel. The assaults on the Piglin bases are fun, but as you make your way further into the campaign some of the sieges turn into grind fests. It would help if the siege weapons worked automatically, but you have to man them and manually aim their attacks – and then they have a cooldown period. Trying to monitor Piglins attacks while you’re aligning distant shots on structures, and then the need to check to see when the weapons are ready again is a constant distraction. Your enjoyment of Legends will depend a bit on how you enjoy playing Minecraft, as well as where on the RTS spectrum from noob to leet you fall. As for me, I’ve played a lot of Minecraft in many different ways and RTS games since the original StarCraft, and I found myself enjoying Legends.- Gamers' Temple

Overall Rainbow Six Extraction is a very welcome change for the Rainbow Six series. If you’re a fan of PvE games (such as World War Z and Aliens: Fireteam Elite, definitely give this game a try. I feel that many Rainbow Six regulars will not appreciate Extraction as much as I do, which is understandable. It’s a big change of direction for the series, but one that I definitely enjoy.- Gamers' Temple

Ride 3 is an easy entry into the motorcycle simulation genre. The level of detail on and off the track is visually satisfying. Over time playing the AI can get a little boring, but multiplayer provides some variety, at least if you win and don't get dead last like I do more than half the time. For someone wanting to get into a motorcycle racing game this is a strong contender. Veterans of the genre may have their niche, but Ride seems to have a good community following. To those veterans I say it is for you to decide if there is enough new content to warrant the purchase. Either way, I hope to see many of you at the finish line!- Gamers' Temple

Shank does sport a co-op mode in addition to its single player portion, but it doesn't add much to the game. The levels form a prequel to the storyline of the main game, but the prequel is a rather short story indeed and can only be played on the same console – there's no Xbox Live support should you be short a friend to share your couch with.- Gamers' Temple
