Backbreaker is trying to break into a genre that is dominated by a 2,000 pound gorilla and for that alone I applaud them. However they need to do some serious enhancements, maybe even illegal ones, in order to be taken seriously.

Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix is an applaudable improvement over its original and an awesome arcade racer. While the complete lack of licensed music and voice acting endows an empty feeling, charming visuals and tons of callbacks should whet your animation-loving appetite. All-in-all, it’s an unadulterated trip down both memory and (literally) slime-filled lanes and a joyful celebration of Nicktoons.

The game has tons of items to unlock and an overall good amount of stuff to do, but all of this really falls flat when the gameplay gets so repetitive. No matter what mode you play, there isn’t much gameplay variety outside of the standard gameplay mechanics. You don’t have the options that you get in the usual WWE 2K yearly release and it all wears thin fast and becomes a chore to play. The game is honestly fun at first, but it just doesn’t hold up well in the long run. I honestly prefer WWE 2K20 over Battlegrounds and that’s saying a lot with all the problems that game had.

I wish there was more to this expansion because as it is you'll push through the new content pretty quickly and then find that you're not really compelled to come back to Mercury much after that. Curse of Osiris simply doesn't give you that much new content for your money, but without it your characters will be capped at level 20 and 300. This means that you'll be locked out of heroic level content because your power level will be too low. If you play with friends and they have this expansion, then you'll be forced to get it as well if you want to join them in every activity such as the Leviathan raid's hard mode or the Trials of the Nine. If that's not the case with you, you can probably pass on this expansion for now and see what happens with the next expansion due in spring 2018.

That’s a first for me, and I’ve been playing the game since before it even had a multiplayer mode. Modern Warfare III is the most disappointing entry in the series for me in a while – I haven’t been this disappointed probably since Ghosts.
