A year-old game newly ported to the PC that plunges players into a world of bad camera angles and overwrought control elements.
-
So much control is lost in the shift to PC that the entire game suffers.
-
The presentation and polishing of Batman: Vengeance is all first-rate. Its the crappy camera management and the twisted control scheme (without the game pad) that make it more of a chore to play than it should be.
-
Basically a step down from the original console games ... which weren't all that great to start with.
-
Poor, unresponsive control and linear level design prevent this game from being enjoyable by anyone other than big fans of the animated series.
-
If you absolutely must have a super hero game, do yourself a favor and pick up "Freedom Force" instead.

Computer Gaming WorldImagine the frustration of being Batman and still getting your ass kicked by a bunch of thuggy mimes. [Jan 2003, p.121]
