  1. It’s a fantastic title, but for a very narrow audience. It’s not a game for everyone, as both the antiquated gameplay and the high difficulty curve can be definite turn-offs.
  2. I liked the game. And I played the hell out of it.
  3. As a package The Nightmare of Druaga offers a spin on the RPG and action RPG genres. Druaga offers plenty of monster slaying, treasure hunting and dungeon exploring.

Often tedious and can be a little unfair. [Dec 2004, p.82]
  5. While maybe not quite a “Nightmare”, Druaga may at least make your sleep an uncomfortable one. I would pass this one by for a host of much better alternatives.
  6. The “At-Once-Turn-System” adds a welcome strategic element to dungeon-crawling, but monotony and repetition destroy any redeeming value the system might have.
  7. Very punishing death penalties and boring gameplay.

Game play was fun, but to me, just didn't stay fun, may pick it up again in the future though. Expand
