Card Shark isn’t a game for everyone. You’ve got to have some patience to both learn the controller combinations to successfully pull-off each step of the cheats and to repeat all of those steps several times during the course of a card game. You also need to enjoy games that are essentially a collection of mini games, and that don’t have much interaction between those games. If those caveats don’t bother you, then you’ll probably find the game’s unique look and setting charming and appealing, and enjoy your time swindling the French aristocracy out of their ill-gotten wealth.

Even with all the heavy hits to the graphics, the Switch version is still strong mainly thanks to its gameplay and overall content. Honestly, the Neversoft gameplay can carry just about version of Tony Hawk so long as it is left largely intact. Oh, and for you streamers out there, it’s worth noting that the game has a “Streamer mode” that can be turned on to mute all the music if you’re scared of DMCA strikes. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is a fun celebration of new and old altogether and it’s a game that I recommend to all Tony Hawk Pro Skater fans no matter which version you get!

Honestly, talking a lot about ZAAM is giving away too much about it and for a game that is so short, it’s best to try it out for yourself, especially for a game with a bargain price upon release. Even with a short length, the game gets a lot accomplished in the way of exploration and story. There are many files to collect that give you backstory and the events that unfold as you find key items will piece together your memories and overall backstory. The game has multiple endings as well. It’s definitely worth a play-through for the curious and those that enjoy a good story.

The developers made sure to keep the overall fighting experience as the main focus and it moves at around 60fps most of the time. So long as you have a good controller or can use the joycons with fighting games really well, this is a decent version to play. Of course, the main highlight of the Switch version is the fact that it is portable, so you can play it on the go unlike any other console version. The online portion of the game is hard to review – since you’re playing on Switch, which is wi-fi focused, it’s hard to say whether the slowdown is from the connection or the actual netcode. I do get some matches that play pretty smoothly and some that have tons of slowdown, so it’s very up and down when it comes to online.

While Darknet is a VR game, it really doesn't need to be a VR game. There's the general VR coolness immersion factor you get from any VR game - in this case you feel like you're suspended in space while a giant network floats in front of you - but the game could easily be played as a standard, screen-based game. If you're hungry for more VR titles and that's the primary reason that you're interested in Darknet, then you should probably pass on the game. Once the initial novelty of the presentation wears-off, which won't take too long, you're left with a puzzle game. If you enjoy logic-based puzzle games, though, Darknet is certainly recommendable. It's not the kind of puzzle game that will keep you pushing to solve just one more level, but it's an enjoyable enough distraction when you're in the mood for a game in the genre.

The game is overall a lot of fun to play. If you’re in the mood for an asymmetrical multiplayer game that you don’t have to take too seriously, then Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is a great choice. The game is best played as a party game with online friends or randoms. I do feel that this game might have some complications with staying relevant in the future however since there just isn’t much outside of the one mode of play and there isn’t enough extra content to unlock once you reach a certain level. In the short run however, this game is quite good. Be sure to give the game a try if you’re a Ghostbusters fan. I’m sure fans of the series will feel right at home the most!

Overall, Exoprimal is quite a solid game even with its one mode. The amount of variety in the exosuits kept me coming back to the game often. The game has a lot of DLC, but all the exosuits can be unlocked by playing the game and leveling up each exosuit to a certain level. The game also has a good bit of free unlockables that you can get from collectible cards (basically a type of loot crate) in game. If Capcom could include a true campaign mode where you could play it solo or with a team of other players, I could see this franchise being just as good as Lost Planet 1 and 2 (mainly Lost Planet 2) in the long run. Definitely give this game a try if you like Capcom online shooters – I have a feeling you’ll like it if you’re willing to give around 5 hours for it to truly show you what it has to offer.

The game's open world and extra tasks (side missions, material gathering, hunting) offer a good distraction from the usual gameplay. The gameplay has been given more depth, so there is more variety this time around, but it still gets repetitive after several hours. Players that aren't that interested in the DW formula might find something to enjoy with DW9 but even with all the extra additions, they feel like only a minor distraction from the base hack and slash gameplay that you'll ultimately be thrown into. If you’ve played a Dark Picture Anthology game, you know what to expect with The Devil in Me. This one ups the ante when it comes to gameplay, but as I’ve pointed out, the new gameplay mechanics aren’t always welcoming, but for the most part, they are an improvement. Other than the change in gameplay, the game plays very similar to the other Dark Pictures games. Whether the story is good or not, or characters are interesting or boring is all left up to opinion for the most part. I’d say that The Devil in Me is about mid-range when compared to the rest of the series. Honestly, from the beginning it seems like the best one, but then the story starts to drag toward the end and it suddenly doesn’t seem as good anymore. You’ll be acutely aware of the map’s relatively small size since it will have you doing a fair amount of backtracking during your quests. It seems like the game’s length is more likely the result of some sort of constraint felt by the developers, budgetary or otherwise, because there is enough to the game’s world, story, and potential side narratives to provide for a longer experience.
