The near-suicidal missions that this division volunteers for brands them as insane by other military units. Section 8 deploys by 'burning in' from their orbital drop ships tens of thousands of feet above the battlefield, utilizing the most advanced arsenal of military hardware known to man. Their mission: to scout and secure difficult objectives and smash enemy defenses in lightning-quick assaults.     The initial impressions of Section 8 will not be positive for many due to the slightly odd setup system, fairly complex character customization system, muddy controls and bland single player campaign. However, once you become accustomed to the game it really does offer an awful lot of value, especially with a $30 price tag.

    A fun online experience but I can’t see this continuing to be played long into the future with so many other shooters available. The story may be a little lacklustre but if you simply treat it as a lengthy tutorial, you’ll have a great time online.

Well, it really doesn't add any flavor to what is a D list video game. Imagine Star Wars: Battle Front mixed with unreal tournament and a bad, linear gameplay engine. Not worth even a rental.… Expand
