Generation Zero is a shallow survival experience that can be fun with friends, but lacks the content, depth, and polish to be something you want to return to.- Gamer.no

FromSoftware draws inspiration from its best games to create something wholly new, with a refined and polished combat system, some spectacular boss fights and an interesting approach to character development. The game has some issues with replayability, but is perhaps the developer’s strongest title in terms of a single playthrough.- Gamer.no

Left Alive could have been a fantastic game with a little more work. It has some phenomenal moments, but often drowns in frustrating scenarios.- Gamer.no

Man the Guns unfortunately brings more confusion to fleet manage than before. On the upside, the great new oil mechanic, the new focus trees and the US Congress mechanisms are mostly welcome additions to Hearts of Iron IV.- Gamer.no

Dead or Alive 6 has a lot going for it – solid combat mechanics and an incredible tutorial mode being the elements that stands out the most – but overall it feels a little too bland and lacking in content to stand out in the sea of great fighting games of yesteryear.- Gamer.no

Devil May Cry 5 is a brilliant and exhausting game that continuously reaches new levels of greatness. This is Capcom at its finest.- Gamer.no

Gathering Storm offers a mixed bag. The ambition is clear, with climate change and the World Congress being major changes that sadly fails to fully live up to their potential. At the same time, the new resource mechanics are engaging, and the new leaders and other additions make for an expansion filled with content. Nevertheless, Gathering Storm does not live up to the standards set by last year's expansion, Rise and Fall.- Gamer.no

Flying, fighting and exploring while in one of the four javelins feels great in Anthem. The combat is varied and fun, the world is gorgeous and ripe for discovery, but too much hassle with various menus, loading screens and poor design keeps me away from the fun. The story and characters are good, the second half of the story it even better, but the characters and nuances that Bioware does so well is hidden in texts and journals, and not given enough screen time to really shine. Fort Tarsis slows down the pace too much, and repetitive quest-design doesn't help. Endgame-content is lacking, with parts of it broken, other parts not working, or just not enough variety as the game stands right now. But I still love the feel of playing Anthem, which makes it a good foundation to be built upon.- Gamer.no

Metro Exodus is beautiful, dark and often engaging, but many of the game mechanics seem to fit much better into a dark metro than semi-open maps.- Gamer.no

Kingdom Hearts III is big, bold and beautiful. The game delivers on almost all fronts: from the charming and faithfully crafted Disney worlds, to the engaging and extremely varied gameplay. Some aspects are still a little confounding, and the game is clearly not meant for newcomers, but returning fans will find exactly what they've been waiting for here.- Gamer.no

By trying to please so many different players the game will probably not satisfy anyone completely. Resident Evil veterans will feel like it is a bit too simple and unfaithful. New players will wonder about the 90s logic in spending so much time looking for keys so you can politely unlock doors when your backpack is loaded with rocket launchers and oversized shotguns which could just as easily have blown them off their hinges.- Gamer.no

Though the story in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is utterly confusing, the game makes sense where it matters most: in the clouds. The dogfights are action packed and enjoyable and the VR missions are pure gold. However, the multiplayer could benefit from more varied modes.- Gamer.no

Hitman 2 delivers a quality continuation of what the previous game started. The maps are bigger, more complex and offers tons of replayability. What the game lacks in story it makes up for with sheer joy in both exploration and dumb ways to take out your target. Technically the game doesn't deliver nearly as well, with the frame rate taking a hit when there is a lot going on on the screen.- Gamer.no

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a triumphant open world experience that has plenty of engaging content in terms of whacky activities and side quests, while all the same while delivering constant cinematic and believable human drama. This is so much more than «just a cowboy game» – it's a game whose many systems and rich universe feel quite unlike anything else.- Gamer.no

Return of the Obra Dinn has emerged after four years in development, and it was truly worth the wait. Pope takes us on a magical journey that may seem plain at first glance, but there’s plenty of excitement and beauty to be found here - if you’re willing to dig a bit deeper.- Gamer.no
