These games are practically the same as they used to be with a few extras, which is great if you haven't played them, but if you have there is not much to gain from these new versions.

There is not much to complain about because Skyrim still is an amazing game. The fact that you can carry it anywhere, makes this version pretty intimate.

Kirby Battle Royale is a fun minigame collection that simply does not have what it takes to really stick. May be if the online features would work more smoothly, we would be more positive, but those are a disappointment too.

This game reminds us of the good times when Rare still made excellent platform games. The beautiful world filled with collectibles is amazing and the gameplay is fun for any age. It is too bad the camera angles are often a bit clumsy.

Sonic Forces is too old fashioned to really be relevant as a platform game this year. The level design is a let-down, the controls are all over the place and the story mode will only take three hours of your time.

Need for Speed Payback is one of the biggest games that we have ever seen in this franchise. Yet the game does not feel fresh and different, because the story is really bad.

Sledgehammer has created an excellent Call of Duty game. Especially when it comes to the online modes the franchise really made a comeback. Hopefully the server issues are gone soon so we can thoroughly enjoy them.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a very cool game at the beginning, but the progression system overshadows all the fun. That is too bad for a game that really shows how awesome Star Wars really is.

It is unbelievable how great Doom works on Switch, but technically speaking this is not the best version of Doom that is out there.

The unique low-poly style, soft colors and relaxing music make this amazing puzzle game with its rich history a pleasant game to play. Unfortunately the islands are pretty empty and it is a bit too linear, which is why it feels a bit empty overall.

Running, kicking, shooting, dying and doing that all over again: High Hell is one big chunk of action. Though the huge open levels sometimes work against it, High Hell is a fun and crazy arcade shooter to love.

The Frozen Wilds exactly does what is expected of dlc: it is a more of the game we already loved to play.

BJ Blazkowicz shows how great it is to kill Nazis, but Wolfenstein 2 has a lot more to offer: the world, the cast and the huge range of bizarre stories make this game a definite recommendation.

Super Mario Odyssey is an amazing experience for Mario fans, but even gamers that are not familiar with Nintendo's mascot will definitely enjoy this game. There is so much content to discover and all the greatest elements from 30 years of Mario come together in this excellent title.

Technically speaking The Evil Within 2 is a lot better than its predecessor. The game is a lot more accessible for a greater audience, without forgetting about the die hard fans.

Warriors offers a lot of action for the Fire Emblem series, and Fire Emblem offers tactics for Warriors. This game makes you button bash a lot, which that can be very entertaining.

    Hob
Hob is like working on an exotic island during your holiday. Yes, you are responsible for some things, but during puzzles and fights you can thoroughly enjoy nature, architecture and culture of a strange world.

Ruiner has an amazing soundtrack and cool action, but when it comes to gameplay this is not a surprising game. The setting makes us long for more, especially combined with the black humor, but the gameplay is too repetitive to really enjoy it.

This is a good puzzle game with fun characters and beautiful surroundings, but the level of the old Layton games is still a lot better. The quality of the puzzles has decreased and the story simply does not stick.
