Call of Duty games deliver exactly what is expected, but Treyarch did make some interesting changes in the multiplayer mode. The battle royale-mode is an awesome addition to this fresh Call of Duty.

Transference reminds us of Silent Hill. The integrated full motion video makes this a very scary experience, though the puzzles aren't super difficult. This is more than just a walking simulator though.

The relationship between two brothers is realistic and cute. The first episode is a bit of a slow start, but the writing certainly is better now.

The Gardens Between lets you play with the time and helps you make levels out of memories. The puzzles are great, but thanks to the simple gameplay principles it is a nostalgic game to rush through.

Fifa 19 is a very complete game, but we are not sure about its course. Instead of pointing out some nuances in soccer or making it a better esports game, the game has used the same limited gameplay mechanics for three years.

The Messenger combines modern gameplay with a mix of graphic styles. The fun, humor and challenging gameplay is amazing, but it wears off a bit when the more open structure is introduced in the second half of the game.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is mainly more of the same thing. Focusing on stealth gameplay is an excellent choice, but the story is all over the place.

State of Mind is a thriller with an interesting story taking place in an atmospheric world that digs deep into ethical questions about what it is to be human and artificial intelligence.

PES 2019 is great at really understanding soccer and making it feel like a real game. The controls are tight, the unpredictability is amazing and it feels like a very solid experience. The only thing that is bothering us are the other players and referees.

Guacamelee 2 is not the most surprising follow-up, but it does offer challenging fights and platform action with a lot of new moves. We had hoped for more of a surprise though.

It must feel lonely at the top, but F1 2018 does forget to make changes to the faults of F1 2017. It still is a very deep Formule 1 game with challenging gameplay options.

Roguelike Dead Cells is ruthless, deep and offers a lot of variety. It helps you up when you fall, so you never have to feel like a loser.

Overcooked 2 is a safe but great addition to the first Overcooked with many hours of co-op fun. It is not very fresh in gameplay, it offers a great challenge in a great array of stages.

WarioWare Gold offers old school chaos with tens of microgames. The humor is of great quality, but the mini-games have stayed pretty much the same, making this game feel more like a Best Of than anything brand new.

Good news: The Banner Saga series will offer you an amazing ending that does the franchise right. Everything fits together perfectly and that makes for a very emotional ending of this beautiful adventure.

MXGP Pro does not really deliver when it comes to game modes and presentation, but it does have a good approach in physics and the versatility of this racing sport.
